Staff at Ash Tree House Care Home go over and above for the residents; there are always activities, new and different experiences and things for the residents to do and interact with. The staff know Mum and her needs really well and have helped her settle brilliantly. It is wonderful knowing and seeing she is well looked after, cared for and thriving and we can’t thank Ash Tree enough for everything they have done for Mum. Communication from the team has been excellent from day one and there is always someone available to answer any questions.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We think it's hugely important to get to know our residents, not only their needs but their likes and dislikes, to try and support and ease them into the transition of living in the home. We also know that it's a difficult time for loved...
Mum is very settled now in her care home. This is so comforting for us as a family that our mum is being cared for and is safe.
The home has regular events activities which keep Mum entertained when she feels up to it. Thank you Ash Tree staff.
My mother-in-law has been diagnosed with dementia. She was roaming the streets in the early hours, telephoning the police for company and waking the neighbours at night. Our social worker managed to find Ash Tree House Care Home - Mother-in-law is settled there. She is well cared for with regular meals and one-to-one attention. The home is clean, pleasant and cheerful. Mother-in-law can be awkward with a mind of her own but the staff have won her round with their gentle coaxing and warm personalities. We are confident that she is safe and cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It’s so important that we use our knowledge and experience of dementia to support families and ensure that people such as your mother-in-law are cared for and treated with kindness and respect. We are so glad she came to join us at Ash Tree House.
Ash Tree staff look after our mum exceptionally well. It's important for us to have peace of mind that mum is well looked after, happy and entertained and the home delivers exactly that. It is comforting to see our mum smiling and laughing like she always has done.
It’s lovely to hear that your mum is so settled and happy with us at Ash Tree House, and we are glad that it gives you peace of mind. Thank you for your kind words.
Dad is being well looked after, the staff are all really friendly and happy to chat, and even dance, with him. He is happy there and enjoys the various activities. We joined him for the Christmas sing-along when his other son was singing and playing. It was clear that the staff were doing a really good job in encouraging residents to participate. It's never easy putting a parent into care, but the whole family think Dad is happy where he is now.
Thank you for your review. We understand that moving a loved one into care can be a worrying time, but it’s so great to hear that your dad is now settled, happy, and having a great time taking part in our activities programme. It’s so important to us that our residents feel valued and encouraged to participate, so we’re glad your dad has been having fun singing and dancing with the team. Thank you!
So happy with the care our grandma receives at Ash Tree. She did not like the idea of a care home before she spent the night and then she didn't want to go home! Now she calls Ash Tree home and we have total peace of mind- I can't tell you how much this means to us. She is always busy doing lovely things and she is happy which we are forever grateful to the fantastic team for!
We are so happy that your grandma has settled in so well with us and that you have the peace of mind you need. It’s so important to us to not just provide the best for our residents but also to give families the reassurance that their loved ones are safe and happy.
My mum was welcomed to the home. The staff all seem very helpful and caring and my mum seems to be very happy with them. There seems to be a very good standard of cleanliness and this is impressive. There are various activities for the residents to enjoy, and my mum loves the hairdresser on site. I really haven't seen anything to be unhappy about and I am very confident that she is being cared for very well.
Thank you for your review, we are so pleased that your mum is happy and settled in Ash Tree House and taking advantage of the facilities and activities available. It’s great that you can feel confident and reassured with the care she is receiving and hope she continues to love her time with us.
I visit my mother-in-law most days. On every visit, Ash Tree House is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. All the staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. They make you feel totally at ease knowing your loved one is well cared for and safe. The activities are fantastic and engaging, also regular trips out are a benefit having a change of environment. I cannot thank the staff enough for what they do, they are all superstars to me!
What a lovely review, thank you. It’s lovely to hear how consistently impressive our home and the wonderful team are and what a positive impact that has, not only on the residents but on the peace of mind of their loved ones. We hope you continue to join us regularly, you are just as much a part of the Ash Tree House family as your mother-in-law now!
Loved seeing the care home so festive and Christmasy. The staff go above and beyond for the residents! My grandma absolutely loves it here and is always happy and has brilliant relationships with the staff. I honestly can't thank them enough!
Thank you so much for your lovely review, it’s great that your grandma is so happy and settled. Christmas is such a lovely time in our home, full of fun and festivity, and we hope to keep that wonderful atmosphere up year-round.
What an amazing care home. I would strongly recommend anybody that was looking into going into care. The staff go out of the way for you all the time with no hesitation, they are so caring and understanding. My mum is so happy, and you can tell she is content. The home, itself is absolutely amazing. All the residents are always happy and smiling, which is a great comfort. No matter what time you go to the home the carers are always doing activities and interacting with the residents at all times.
Thank you for your stunning recommendation! We are very proud of our wonderful staff and it’s fabulous to hear that the impact on the residents is so positive and evident. Ash Tree House has a real family feel and it’s lovely to have your mum with us as part of that family.
Lovely to continue to visit Mum, cannot praise all the wonderful staff at Ash Tree for the dedicated care she receives. Every member of staff is so friendly and does their very best caring for all the residents. Will recommend Ash Tree, such a beautiful home throughout.

Excellent and caring staff.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ash Tree House.
Thankfully we are back to normal regarding visitors so that's a plus. Because I can't see and hear very well, I am limited so I am not able to take part as much as I did but I really enjoy the member of staff singing, especially when he's on our floor. I also enjoyed decorating plant pots with another member of staff and the quiz with afternoon tea, my daughter helped with the quiz. I've been for a little walk in the garden twice to enjoy the sunflowers and the flower borders.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this kind review. It’s so important to our care team at Ash Tree House that our residents feel encouraged to take advantage of our activities and entertainment facilities so that they can live each day to its fullest. If there’s anything our team can do to help you enjoy more activities, please let us know! Thanks again.
Management and staff come across as very professional and caring. The facilities at Ashtree are clean and well arranged. Mum is 104 years old and appears to be well looked after.
Thank you for your review. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to the Ash Tree House team, and we hope your mum continues to enjoy living with us.
Staff so helpful and pleasant. Mother took some time to settle from her own home, but has really settled in now. Thanks again for all the pleasant care.
Thank you for this lovely feedback. We’re glad to hear your mother has settled at Ash Tree House, and we hope she feels happy with our care team there.
Mum couldn't be better looked after. All the staff are most helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Mum has been a resident for just over 12 months and has flourished in her stay. She will be 99 in October. All we, as a family, can say is a big thank you!
It’s great to hear such lovely feedback for our care team at Ash Tree House, thank you! We’re so glad that your mum has flourished while staying with us – we hope she continues to enjoy her stay, and we can’t wait to celebrate her 99th birthday.
I would recommend Ash Tree House without question. My dad has been there for 14 months now. He's happy and well looked after. If there is a problem with anything, the staff are very helpful and reliable. They are very friendly and you are able to approach them without any worries. I can relax knowing my dad's being well cared for.
Thank you for this kind recommendation. Our care team at Ash Tree House will be so glad to hear you and your dad are happy with the care they’re providing. We’ll be sure to pass along your message.
My relative has been in the home for a while now. Visiting has been very difficult due to Covid restrictions, but thankfully, now opened up. She appears very happy when we see her and seems to enjoy the food. Despite impairments is encouraged to join in activities that are organised by the home. Overall, happy that there is someone to help her 24/7.
Thank you for your review. We’re glad your relative is happy at Ash Tree House and is enjoying the freshly cooked meals from our fabulous kitchen team. Thank you.
Mum has been in Ash Tree House for 12 months and all the staff there are doing a really excellent job looking after her with what has been going on these last 2 years, it was very difficult at first when we took her in but it was the right decision and we couldn't have asked for any better carers and administration staff plus managers they have all been fantastic. Would recommend this care home to anyone as it is the cleanest and freshest and inviting looking one I have been in and I have visited quite a few they are just great working people.
Thank you for leaving the care team at Ash Tree House this kind feedback – they will be thrilled to hear that your family is happy with the care provided. We hope your mum continues to enjoy living at Ash Tree House, and we’ll be sure to pass along your message.
Mum celebrated her 104th birthday and Ash Tree House certainly gave her and the family a day to treasure. From the reception staff to kitchen staff to activity and carers, everyone worked together to ensure she had the truly special day she richly deserved. We cannot thank you enough not just for that special day but also for the dedicated care given to Mum every day.
Thank you for your review. It sounds like your mum had an amazing birthday with our team at Ash Tree House! Our care team consider everybody in their home as family and go above and beyond to create lasting memories for our residents. We are sure they were thrilled to be part of her big day! Thank you, we will pass your comments over to the team at Ash Tree House.
