Mum has been a resident at Ash Tree House in Hindley for over 4 years. She went into the home as a frail old lady and has flourished and thrived thanks to the dedication of all the staff, who are simply wonderful. It really is a home from home. The care and support given to residents is outstanding and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Ash Tree House. Thanks in particular to the manager for his recent help, advice, and support.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely feedback. We’re so happy to hear that your mum is thriving with our care team at Ash Tree House, and feels at home. Thank you so much for recommending our care home – we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to the Home Manager.
This is an excellent care home with a wide range of amenities and activities. The residents' rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and all are en-suite. There are a number of lounges on each floor and a dining room which are all furnished to a high standard. The food is excellent with choices to suit all tastes. There are several actives each week with something for most residents to participate in. A well-cared-for spacious garden and a separate cinema room are also there for residents to enjoy. The staff are very caring and seem to be able to adapt to every resident's personality. We would highly recommend this home.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ash Tree House. We pride ourselves on providing purpose-built, luxury facilities that have a warm, homely feel. Person-centred activities are so important to us and we always aim to try new things and provide a wide variety of activities to suit everyone. I will be sure to pass on your comments to the team at Ash Tree House.
My dad has been a resident at Ash Tree for over two years now and we are so thankful that this has been his home during these difficult times. The team are all absolutely outstanding. They are always caring, considerate and respectful and go out of their way to make dad feel safe, happy, and included. As soon as you step in the door you are made to feel welcome. The home is clean, bright, and friendly. I live in Australia and they have gone out of their way to organise regular video calls with dad and keep us in touch. However difficult recent times have been, I have always felt reassured that dad is in the very best of hands.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ash Tree House. We understand how important it is to communicate with your loved ones, so it is lovely to hear that with the support of members of the team, you are able to have regular contact with your dad. We are extremely proud of our caring team at Ash...
All the family of mum have always been very happy with the care mum has received from all members of staff at Ash Tree. All through these difficult times with covid I have been able to keep in close contact with mum and have been kept updated on how mum is keeping. She is being well looked after by all and certainly enjoys all the meals provided.
Thank you for sharing your experience of Ash Tree House. It is wonderful to hear your mum is enjoying living at Ash Tree House and enjoying all of the lovely food on offer. We appreciate how important it is to keep in touch with your loved ones, so it is great to hear that even during these...
Mum continues to be very well looked after at Ash Tree House. Even under the current covid restrictions and tribulations, the standards and residents' care have not dropped. All the staff from admin, reception, and carers on the floor are totally dedicated to the job. The home is spotless, the residents are happy. Mum remarked to me how lucky she was that we found this place. Any concerns I have had have immediately been solved with little or no fuss.
Thank you for sharing your experience of Ash Tree House. We are extremely proud of our dedicated staff team and it is wonderful to hear how attentive they have been to both you and your Mum. We appreciate how difficult it has been during these uncertain times, but it is reassuring to hear your mum...
Ash Tree House is a modern building with all the facilities you would expect. In the world of care homes, staff are the Achilles heel, and probably the number one headache for the management team, that said here they are largely first class. From my first chat with the warm and caring front desk manager followed by her zoom walk around Ash Tree House, I have been impressed with their ethos. She described her vision of Ash Tree House as a hotel quality establishment in which they try to create the feeling of home for the residents. In care there are many ways to fall short of your aims, nobody gets it right all the time and with (in this case) up to 58 different opinions to cater for there will be issues. However, working from the basis of ‘doing your utmost’ to cater for all these variables Ash Tree House succeeds in achieving a very high score in this regard.

Always welcoming, efficient and concern for residents is genuine. I enjoyed a meal out with a friend 2 weeks ago and all arrangements in-hand carried out without problems.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
We understand this has been a very difficult time for care homes, residents, relatives and visitors. Ash Tree House have tried their best to help us see Mum as the restrictions change. Testing has been carried out efficiently, giving us the confidence to start visiting in Mums room. She really enjoys this and appreciates all the extra work this makes. I do feel during the long period when we couldn't visit, extra staff should have provided more in house activities. The garden has been our saving grace during this hard time. Through the hard work of the gardener/handyman/decorator/singer, Ash Tree House has allowed us to connect with our loved ones, work in the garden and provide a beautiful outlook and peaceful place to relax as well as plenty of flowers and vegetables. This work needs to continue and increase and more money made available.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review and for the positive feedback. It is of the upmost importance to our team; it is a priority to ensure all of our Covid-19 practices are practised to the highest possible clinical standards in an effort to protect our staff, residents and...
Extremely impressed with the care provided during mum's respite stay. The staff went to a great deal of trouble to ensure that mum's needs were catered for, including a home visit before her stay. Good communication throughout.
Thank you so much for your review. We are so pleased to hear that your mum's respite stay was a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words which I shall be sure to pass on.
The home is very, very good. Would not put mum anywhere else.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
My Mum is happy, care for, and loved at Ash Tree. The staff are truly amazing I can never thank them enough for what they do. The atmosphere within the home is always happy and positive. The staff are kind and thoughtful to family members and I thank God every day that I found Ash Tree.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review of Ash Tree House and for the comments. We are so pleased to hear you would recommend us and these reviews also go some way to help other families in a similar position of looking for a care home. We are sure they will find your comments very valuable.
My dad went into Ash Tree House during Covid restrictions. With having dementia he can get quite confused and disorientated. However, the excellent kind and caring staff took the time to get to know Dad and tailored his care to his specific needs making his transition less stressful and relaxed. The home is spotlessly clean, well run with a homely feel. Communication and updates on Dad's wellbeing is excellent. Dad has made himself somewhat of a character and I rest assured knowing that he is cared for by such professional, dedicated, friendly staff and management.

My sister has lived at Ash Tree House for nearly three years. She is well looked after and her carers are kind and considerate. Her medical needs are well taken care of. The home is so clean and well maintained. The food is excellent.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
The carers are generally good and some are exceptionally helpful. The management is competent but could do a better job in proactively communicating with residents' relatives - I generally only get information if I ask for it.
Thank you so much for your kind words regarding our home and staff. Feedback is extremely important to us and we will ensure that your comments are passed to the whole team. If you wish to discuss any points raised, please contact our home manager on 01942 256089.
My father has only been with you for just over one month but has been made to feel very welcome. I am really impressed with the staff and how they are so caring and very approachable. I feel very comfortable knowing that my dad is being cared for in the best possible way. One observation I have made is that in the visiting room on the visitor's side, it would benefit from either an internal extension to the phone system or an alarm button in care of an emergency with the residents who are on the other side of the window.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We aim to make our homes a secure and safe place for our residents to live whilst making a real difference to the lives of our residents. We will ensure the team receive your message.
Mum and Dad moved to Ash Tree House in January 2020. Sadly Dad passed away in December 2020. But the care he and Mum received is excellent. The care Mum is still receiving is the best I could ever wish for. The staff are the best and the management are too. They are so caring for their residents. They go above and beyond, there are no words I can say to thank them for all they do. They are the best I have ever met. The best place ever.

Mum went into Ash Tree House initially for respite with a view to long term care if she liked it. Less than a week, mum had made her mind up to stay! The manager and all the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. They are caring for mum who at times is difficult, but they manage her with dignity and professionalism. I would highly recommend Ash Tree House to anyone considering care for a loved one.
Thank you so much for your review of Ash Tree House. We are so pleased to hear that your mum's move has been a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words which I shall be sure to pass on.
My dad has recently moved to Ash Tree House after undergoing surgery which resulted in him requiring supported living services. Having just visited dad via the covid secure visiting room, I was so pleased to see how much better he looked. He has settled into his room which he likes, he enjoys the menu choices offered and has started to participate in some of the activities that are organised. Above all, he likes the staff who he said are kind and attentive. It is very comforting to know that dad is being cared for by such hard-working and professional people who have understood my dad's needs so quickly. Thank you to all the Ash Tree House team.
