A ten-minute drive from the centre of Colchester, Foxburrow Grange is equipped with the most innovative nursing facilities available today. Designed specifically to care for residents both now and in the future, this is not just a home where things are done differently, this is a home that makes a difference.
On the ground floor there are two wings comprising 32 bedrooms for residents living with dementia, all fitted with the latest Dementia Safe system. All the staff are so lovely with her and she continually beams and smiles back at them. From the moment you walk into Foxburrow you are always welcomed by brilliant reception staff.
The laundry, catering, entertainment, maintenance, gardening and administration teams are all great. You cannot ask for more as it's a very demanding and at times frustrating job. I know as we looked after my mother for eight years prior to Foxburrow.
Thank you for your comments. We will always strive to offer the best service that we can for both our residents and their families.

Victoria has worked in a variety of different roles in the public and voluntary sectors in both health and social care for more
than 20 years. Having worked as an Operations Manager for a Hospice and as a Service Manager in the NHS with a focus on leading services that provide care to those with life-limiting illnesses and care at end of life, a desire to work in registered management was born.
Victoria moved into Social Care in 2020, where she was Registered Manager at Seckford Care. Having enjoyed the role so much even with the challenges of the pandemic, Victoria joined The Willows in August 2022, a 'Requires Improvement’ rated home and by the summer of 2023 had taken the home with her team to a ‘Good’ rating. Victoria is always looking at plans to continually develop services and improve things with a passion for end-of-life and dementia care.
Victoria leads her team with an effervescent approach and focus for positive risk-taking to promote independence and ensure residents live their best lives. A strong believer that relatives are part of the family and deserve the support and compassion in equal measure.
"The best part of my day is to see our residents happy, engaged in activities and relatives coming and going. A home full of laughter, smiles and fun for all and where my colleagues take pride in their work brings me immense joy. I love seeing my team enrich and develop through multicultural employment and embracing other cultures and values”
Victoria is a qualified Level 5 Diploma Coach with Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is registered with the National Council of Psychotherapists and, until 2025, held a relief contract with the mental health charity Suffolk Mind for 7 years

I have worked in care all my adult life; I began my career at 18 where I worked in the community delivering care to people in their homes. I then joined a Nursing care home where I worked as a carer for several years and progressed to care practitioner and then to a deputy manager.
I moved from further up North to Colchester in 2024 to be with my husband who is a paratrooper. I have had several roles here at Foxburrow and was promoted as Deputy Manager in 2025. I have a passion for operations and working with people to improve their skills, adhere to excellent ways of working and over all improving the lives and experiences of the residents and their loved ones.

I have worked within the care setting since 2003 where I started caring for individuals in the community, moving into care of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues. During this time, I progressed from carer to senior carer.
In 2014 I qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and for several years worked in secure services. However, elderly care has always been where my passion lies, and I returned to care of the elderly in 2020.
In my role as Clinical Lead at Foxburrow Grange my focus is to support the nursing and care staff to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. I am particularly passionate about Dementia care and providing a high standard of end-of-life care.

My passion lies in finding ways to improve the home environment, ensuring that every space feels warm, inviting, and truly homely. I made the decision to change careers in November 2024, moving from the Film and TV industry into the care sector to follow my passion for helping others. In July 2025, I joined the team at Foxburrow Grange as an Activities Coordinator.
With a creative background and a strong belief that life doesn’t stop when you enter a care home, I’m committed to bringing energy, empathy, and meaningful engagement to our residents’ daily lives. I work closely with residents, their families, and the wider care team to ensure every individual feels seen, valued, and supported to live life to the fullest.
For me, compassion, connection, and a friendly smile go a long way—and I’m proud to be part of a team that shares those values.
