The first and second floor have 24 ensuite bedrooms each with 2 separate lounge areas, a dining room and activity room on each floor.
There is an enclosed garden space for residents and visitors to use as well as a cafe area to make drinks when visiting.
The home has a salon with a hairdresser visiting on a weekly basis and a chiropodist every 6 weeks.
The provider's focus is on respecting dignity at all times, as well as supporting a healthy lifestyle. Long-term and temporary stays are both welcome, and the home can specialise in EMI Residential and EMI Nursing.
Trained professionals include residents in decision-making and are always keen to incorporate new methods that might be of benefit. Activities are offered within the home and focus on engaging residents in things that they enjoy.

Very bright and cheery building, well maintained by the lovely handyman. The nurses I met in the 10 days mum was there seemed very supportive and approachable. Care staff are lacking in the skills needed for the job, especially the care part.

Overall happy with the care given.
Staff are friendly and helpful and show interest in mum. Mum's mobility has decreased since moving to Norbury Court and I believe this is due to her not being walked regularly - as this requires 2 carers and is time-consuming.

Mum was only at Norbury Court for two weeks. In that time the staff really took the time to get to know her and treated her as an individual person. Everyone treated her with kindness and respect. She was really settled.

Early days to have any strong views but clients are treated with dignity, allowed their personal space and the place is treated like a home. The cake is very nice and homemade. There are always carers present but they are not too dominant. I have not observed the activities yet and have only seen the home in the afternoons rather than experienced evening or bedtimes. There could be better communication re- medication but I saw the care plan today.
I think that the GP attached to the care home is very good, and ultimately it has worked out well with Mum's medication. The care home informs me if there is a problem and seem happy for me to phone and ask about her regularly. They seem to have coped well with Mum, although because of the advanced stage of her dementia she is not an easy person to engage.
