All the staff at Fonthill House receive training and support to help ensure residents live as full and as happy lives as possible. Every resident has differing needs and interests, therefore the service they provide reflects this individuality. Professionals understand that the latter years can be difficult, but the home make every effort to get to know each person so that they can provide the support and care needed to maximise well-being. Staff recognise the importance of meal times and the chef sources wholesome ingredients and prepares nutritionally balanced meals to the highest standard.

All fees are inclusive of all services at Fonthill, however 1-2-1 care is additional and there may be higher fees for high-complexity cases. Fonthill is committed to allowing all residents the security of full access to the home without additional charges. This allows complete piece of mind should you medical condition deteriorate and you require more nursing intervention, use of our in-house GP or physio therapy team.

I have just come away from spending the weekend at Fonthill House with my grandfather. I live quite far away from him and it is so comforting to know he is in such good hands. I stayed a few minutes drive away from the home but was able to arrange and enjoy lunch and dinner at the home with my grandfather
on both days of my visit.
The staff could not do enough to help with any requests I had.


The home itself is of a very high standard and is extremely well maintained, I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

My Gran moved from another care home as we felt there wasn't much in the way of activities, it was a hard decision to make the change and move out, but we haven't regretted at all. Thank you all at Fonthill, lots of love to everyone.

My Mother has been a resident for over two years at Fonthill, I have been impressed with the consistent level of quality care. We often visit and regularly, eat lunch or supper, the food is excellent and the home doesn't charge us for it.

My friend has struggled at home for over a year having had a number of falls. I have seen a huge transformation in her confidence and well being since moving to Fonthill House, I would wholeheartedly recommend this home.

A clean, tidy, odour free home. Fonthill House has a fantastic reputation locally. The activities are extensive including trips out to Fortnum & Mason and tea at The Ritz. A leading light for how care should be provided for the elderly.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt that Fonthill House deserved a recommendation after the time and effort the nurses/care staff put into ensuring my grandmother was cared for. I am immensely grateful to the whole team.

The home has a great atmosphere with staff who you feel you can trust to look after a loved one. I cant say how much having the support of a home like this has meant to our family thank you so much for all your care.
