Argentum Lodge is a relaxed, friendly and welcoming home providing high-quality professional care for the elderly. Located in Nailsea, Bristol, they offer a variety of care including Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care.

As a team, they strive to ensure that all residents are given the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing a safe and comfortable environment. Staff do all they can to help residents maintain their relationships and have a "virus-proof” visitor room in which relatives are welcome to visit their loved ones without fear of spreading infection.

All of the 56 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are fully furnished, although residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them, large or small, to make their new space feel like home from day one.

With great facilities and a fantastic activities programme, there’s never a dull day at Argentum Lodge. Through their dedicated Activity Co-Ordinators, they offer something for everyone.

At Argentum Lodge, there is the option of a garden room which has patio doors that open to the communal gardens. The residents use the gardens for many reasons; relaxing in the sunshine, celebrating an occasion with their friends and families or to enjoy some relaxing gardening. All residents are encouraged to pursue their hobbies and interests where possible.

Argentum Lodge is dedicated to supporting various charities and is always eager to support new ones. If you wish to initiate a function for a charity close to your heart please discuss it with the Home Manager.

Jess and her team have been looking after mum for only 2 days and I can tell that she feels at home already. Rob had been helping to prepare her room even before she arrived - putting up pictures and a mirror and moving furniture. Alvin welcomed her as soon as she was in her room and took careful notes
about her preferred daily routine. He was at pains to tell her that she was the boss and should let the team at Argentum know how she would like to be helped. Today Joy had helped mum to get ready for the day and commented to me how good mum's skin was. Everyone I have met here has been thoughtful and attentive and caring. Thank you Argentum for looking after mum so well.

My mum has been in this care home since July 2024, and she loves it there, The staff that care for the residents are brilliant, Nothing is to much trouble, I know my mum is well looked after 24/7, and I have piece of mind knowing she is safe and well.

All the staff are very friendly and always very helpful.
Mums room is always clean and she seems to be happy
Food menu is very varied and seems to be good quality.
Always lots going on on there's always something for the residents to do, from colouring , jigsaws and weekly entertainment.

Argentum is a breath of fresh air, mum was welcomed by Joy following 4 weeks in hospital - Joy was extremely caring and helped mum settle into her new surroundings. All the staff are of a very high standard and it's clear there is an excellent management structure in place.

Shini the nurse is a joyful and caring , Helen and her team run fabulous activities in the afternoon and are so enjoyable and interactive for the residents .

Argentum is friendly and welcoming. Mum is being cared for well. She has improved since moving to the home in June. She is happy and content. She appears to enjoy the entertainment and has made friends. It is reassuring to know she is being cared for.

We feel that the home has a wonderful atmosphere. All the staff are really caring, friendly and helpful. My Mum says the food is delicious. Also, my Mum has very much enjoyed many of the activities over the last few months. We feel that her health and wellbeing have been very well supported. Thank you!

The care my mother in law received was 2nd to none. I work in the care sector myself and the way the staff treated everyone including families was exceptional and welcoming. It's a shame mother in law arrived at end of life as she had enjoyed the care she received if she got there sooner. All staff
should be proud of themselves for the fantastic work they do from care, janitorial and through to management. A big well done from me a fellow care worker and district Councillor

Thoroughly recommend Argentum Lodge, all the staff were so kind and caring towards my mum and to us. The home has a lovely, welcoming and homely atmosphere. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Mum last days here were very happy and I shall treasure those memories.

I am very happy with the nurses and office staff, all are so kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Even arranged a birthday cake, which is more helpful than you would expect. The staff at Argentum is A1. Everyone seems so happy here, even the families visiting.

My husband was originally there for respite care after being in hospital but my daughter and I have been so impressed with all aspects of Argentum Lodge that he is now a permanent resident. All the staff are approachable and make the effort to interact with the residents and there is plenty of varied
activities and entertainment for the residents. It gives me peace of mind knowing my husband is in good hands.

First class facility professionally run with excellent staff who really care about the residents. Food is first class and the whole place is spotless and clean. Although admitted on 21st and died 24th May, we could not have asked for anything better. We were treated with such respect and welcomed as if been there months. My father had 4 weeks of respite in Argentum. We thought the home provided a relaxed environment with a warm and friendly reception from employees. I thought the home tried hard and was innovative in providing a range of opportunities to provide stimulation for their guests.

Mum was very poorly when she arrived at Argentum, but within a week or so, she was up and about, joining in activities with the other residents. The level of care, and engagement given by the staff is excellent. And the many different enrichment activities provided are also excellent.

Having used another care home a year ago as a short term measure after a fall, when my mother needed to move into full time care we chose Argentum ahead of the other provider. The facilities are newer and the staff all very friendly and efficient. The food seems to be very good overall and the activities
are varied. Mum commented on having a manicure for the first time ever. We are always welcomed when we visit and can always get a cup of tea.

We had to find a carehome for Mum after she became too ill to live alone. We looked at many but Argentum stood head and shoulders above the rest in every aspect.
Mum was so independent before and had a hard time adjusting at first but with the wonderful, supportive, patient, kind approach from ALL
staff she has settled in well and loves her carers. I live abroad as does my brother so knowing mum is in such amazing hands means the world to us.
ALL staff go above and beyond their duties and nothing is ever too much trouble. I have made lovely connections with mums main carers and they keeo us in the loop as a family with everything.
I am so grateful that we found Argentum Lodge. Xx

The team at Argentum Lodge all have a passion and love for care and are trained in-house to be able to provide a high level of care to residents.


In addition to our committed care team, we have in-house catering, housekeeping, maintenance and laundry teams providing a high level of service to our residents every day.


We also have registered nurses on hand 24 hours a day ensuring that the care needs of all our residents are met.
