Argentum Lodge is a relaxed, friendly and welcoming home providing high-quality professional care for the elderly. Located in Nailsea, Bristol, they offer a variety of care including Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care.

As a team, they strive to ensure that all residents are given the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing a safe and comfortable environment. Staff do all they can to help residents maintain their relationships and have a "virus-proof” visitor room in which relatives are welcome to visit their loved ones without fear of spreading infection.

All of the 56 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are fully furnished, although residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them, large or small, to make their new space feel like home from day one.

With great facilities and a fantastic activities programme, there’s never a dull day at Argentum Lodge. Through their dedicated Activity Co-Ordinators, they offer something for everyone.

At Argentum Lodge, there is the option of a garden room which has patio doors that open to the communal gardens. The residents use the gardens for many reasons; relaxing in the sunshine, celebrating an occasion with their friends and families or to enjoy some relaxing gardening. All residents are encouraged to pursue their hobbies and interests where possible.

Argentum Lodge is dedicated to supporting various charities and is always eager to support new ones. If you wish to initiate a function for a charity close to your heart please discuss it with the Home Manager.

I am very happy with the nurses and office staff, all are so kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Even arranged a birthday cake, which is more helpful than you would expect. The staff at Argentum is A1. Everyone seems so happy here, even the families visiting.

My husband was originally there for respite care after being in hospital but my daughter and I have been so impressed with all aspects of Argentum Lodge that he is now a permanent resident. All the staff are approachable and make the effort to interact with the residents and there is plenty of varied
activities and entertainment for the residents. It gives me peace of mind knowing my husband is in good hands.

First class facility professionally run with excellent staff who really care about the residents. Food is first class and the whole place is spotless and clean. My father had 4 weeks of respite in Argentum. We thought the home provided a relaxed environment with a warm and friendly reception from employees. I thought the home tried hard and was innovative in providing a range of opportunities to provide stimulation for their guests.

Mum was very poorly when she arrived at Argentum, but within a week or so, she was up and about, joining in activities with the other residents. The level of care, and engagement given by the staff is excellent. And the many different enrichment activities provided are also excellent.

Having used another care home a year ago as a short term measure after a fall, when my mother needed to move into full time care we chose Argentum ahead of the other provider. The facilities are newer and the staff all very friendly and efficient. The food seems to be very good overall and the activities
are varied. Mum commented on having a manicure for the first time ever. We are always welcomed when we visit and can always get a cup of tea.

We had to find a carehome for Mum after she became too ill to live alone. We looked at many but Argentum stood head and shoulders above the rest in every aspect.
Mum was so independent before and had a hard time adjusting at first but with the wonderful, supportive, patient, kind approach from ALL
staff she has settled in well and loves her carers. I live abroad as does my brother so knowing mum is in such amazing hands means the world to us.
ALL staff go above and beyond their duties and nothing is ever too much trouble. I have made lovely connections with mums main carers and they keeo us in the loop as a family with everything.
I am so grateful that we found Argentum Lodge. Xx

My father's Alzheimers was making life difficult in his own home. The process of deciding where (and when) to move him was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. With time to now reflect, Argentum Court has provided the hoped-for safe, calm and caring place he needs. Such a change of scene has
taken time for him to settle but all the staff - from senior management down - have gently and sympathetically helped and encouraged him to now feel at home.

My Mother had her 99th birthday this month and the home allowed us to have a private family get-together in the family room. Mother so enjoyed seeing us all. It really made her day special.
It would not have been possible without the support, input and hard work of so many members of staff. Thank you
all so much for making the day special. A special word of thanks goes to the chef who made the birthday cake as well as the inventiveness of the balloon blower/designer.
As a family, we are so happy that we managed to find Argentum Lodge. The friendliness of the staff has made the settling in for Mother so much easier.
A happy team stems from management which from our vantage point is excellent. All the hard work put in by everyone at Argentum is really appreciated. Thank you.

Myself and family had one priority which was that my husband was happy and well cared for and we certainly have that at Argentum Lodge. During my visits, all members of staff are tip top which reflects in the environment. Always there to give a helping hand and ready to give guidance if you ask for
it. The Activities Team do an exemplary job in the things they organise, especially visits from young members of the community and, of course, animals which residents get a chance to 'pet' if they so wish. I can't visit my loved one every day but the 'one-to-one' sessions the staff carry out I feel are very beneficial. The fact that a hairdresser, chiropodist and regular visits from the local doctor's surgery are on hand is very helpful and reassuring for me they are as caring as the staff. 100% pleased with the care and attention my husband receives at Argentum Lodge and thank you for all that you do in making the residents comfortable, happy and at ease with the world.

My husband was initially admitted to Argentum Lodge for respite care and was not happy about that, especially as he had difficulty with communicating his needs. This did cause a few problems at first but now that he has become a permanent resident and he and the staff have got to know each other better,
he seems more settled and I am happy with the care he is given. The staff are friendly, always concerned for my well-being and willing to answer any questions I may have. The food is great, the activities that my husband can engage with are fun and I am kept informed of any changes in his treatment. Would I recommend Argentum to friends and family? Definitely!

Mum has advanced Alzheimer's but is never isolated or left out. The staff ensure she is fully engaged when she wishes to be, a reflection of their professional skills and sensitivity to the needs of the residents. Argentum Lodge is extremely well run, with staff who are committed and skilled.
The
premises are clean and tidy and the communal spaces are attractive and constantly refreshed. The bedrooms are what they need to be - comfortable but relatively functional because many of the residents have specific requirements.
Mum has now been a resident for more than three years and Argentum has gone from strength to strength during this time.

I am so pleased that fortune smiled on us by way of finding a new home for our parents at Argentum Lodge.
My mother has gained sanctuary from the intermittent excruciating pain she suffered at home. At Argentum, her medication is delivered at scheduled times and is regularly reviewed. Her care regime
is constantly being monitored by the home and GP working in collaboration as her needs change.
My father joined the home reluctantly following a fall which affected his mobility and confidence. The staff have worked ceaselessly and uncomplainingly to accommodate his needs and foibles, both real and imagined. I am in absolute awe at their patience and tolerance. They are invariably kind, gentle and upbeat - this seems to be the ethos of the home from the top down. On the extremely rare occasions when we have approached the manager or her deputy over issues, we have received a near-instantaneous response, easily understood explanations or immediate action to resolve the perceived problem.

Argentum Lodge Care Home is a very caring, well-managed home under good leadership. The residents are extremely well cared for and treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Each resident has their own ensuite room which is cleaned daily. Every day there are activities which range from music, crafts,
games and puzzles, ballgames etc and are led by a dedicated activities coordinator. All the staff, carers, cleaners etc are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the home is friendly and caring where each resident is known and treated individually as if they were in their own home.

The team at Argentum Lodge all have a passion and love for care and are trained in-house to be able to provide a high level of care to residents.


In addition to our committed care team, we have in-house catering, housekeeping, maintenance and laundry teams providing a high level of service to our residents every day.


We also have registered nurses on hand 24 hours a day ensuring that the care needs of all our residents are met.
