Overall Experience

Sadly my mother was with you for a few weeks only before she died, but the care she received was exemplary. The staff were friendly, kind and caring. The meals were delicious and her room was lovely - it was good for her to have so many of her personal possessions, including furniture, with her. There were special activities during the week and staff were always on hand to help with residents' needs - helping hands when needed, cups of tea and coffee when wanted, talking to residents and taking a personal interest in them. Staff couldn't do enough for us when it was obvious that she was dying - nothing was too much trouble. We are, of course, very sad indeed that she is no longer with us, but you made her last days as good, if not better, than if she had been in her own home, where we would have struggled with the round the clock care she needed at the end.

Thank you very much indeed, we are very grateful to you.

Overall Experience

My Mum was a resident at the Fairways for two years up until October 2015, when she sadly passed away. The care that she received during her stay was excellent and the staff were very patient and caring. She was encouraged to join in with all of the activities and loved her time at the care home. The staff's caring attitude was highlighted when her health deteriorated. The staff helped us so much during her last few weeks and were extremely compassionate and did everything they could during a very difficult time.

I just wanted to let you and the team know how amazing you truly are. We are having to find a care home for my Dad and there is nothing within a million miles of the care, compassion and genuinely person centred approach that MHA provides anywhere near their home.
It's funny how I had assumed that Fairways and another home (where my father in law was cared for) were the usual. Now I realise that it is exceptional.

Keep up your wonderful work and let all the staff know that they really make all the difference.
