Welcome to Bramhall Manor, a stylish and luxurious home located in the friendly village of Bramhall. Bramhall Manor is a purpose-built 71 bed ‘new generation’ care facility that has been expertly designed to meet all current CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. The care home offers residential, nursing and respite care.

Residents are at the heart of everything they do, the caring team deliver person-centred care to each resident enabling them to maintain the highest level of independence and achieve their full potential whatever that may be. Personal care and support are enhanced further with additional services including freshly cooked meals prepared by their own chefs along with purposeful and meaningful wellbeing activities that reflect the interests and abilities of their residents.

Internally, the attention to detail is impressive. The high specification and décor of Bramhall Manor have been carefully considered by an interior designer, creating stylish yet comfortable and practical spaces for residents to enjoy. Arranged over three floors, the facilities at Bramhall Manor are exceptional, with each floor enjoying its own communal lounges and restaurants. All bedrooms boast en suite wet rooms, and there is also a spa assisted bathroom, hairdresser & nail bar. There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Bramhall Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first and second floors.

Yesterday we had to leave Bramhall Manor as my Dad had improved and it is a short-term assessment place but I can honestly say that in leaving I feel like I have lost a family. Every single staff member involved in my Dad's care was kind, genuine and caring. I don't know how this care center recruits
but whoever does it does it right. My Dad is now classed as palliative due to his long-term lung condition and I had some very dark moments during which all staff, no matter how busy they were, were just perfect and experienced. My Dad was treated with the most care and respect we could ask for and the staff were equally sad to see Dad leave the center to go to a more palliative environment. I want to thank you all from my heart. Dad was there roughly a month and what an impact you all made on us. I mean everyone, care assistants, nurses, doctors, domestics, receptionists, managers, catering, physios, maintenance, OT's and sorry if I missed anyone. You should be the benchmark standard.

My mum was discharged from hospital into Bramhall Manor Care Centre whilst her care home nearer home was waiting for a lift repair. Even though my mum was only there for 8 days she was well cared for. The Manager showed lots of empathy towards my family arranging safe Covid visits. Many thanks from

Mum came to stay at Bramhall Manor following a stay in Hospital and although understandably visiting her has been very limited, we have been assured that mum is receiving the care she needs and is safe and sound. I have nothing but praise for every area of my mums care. They all used their knowledge and professional ability to ease us through a very painful time. The care that my dad received at Bramhall Manor was exemplary. The home itself feels very welcoming and the staff are all fantastic. After spending several months in hospital the improvement in dad after being at Bramhall Manor for a couple of weeks was dramatic. I can't thank them enough.

My grateful thanks to the doctors, nurses and carers who looked after my husband very well during his protracted stay at Bramhall Manor Care Centre. They also kept me fully informed of any changes or concerns regarding his condition.

Overall a comfortable experience with the service, food and care quite good. There was obviously a shortage of staff particularly at night when I had to wait some time before my call was answered. The quality of care was not consistent, some staff took a bit more pride in their work and I think this
an area that could be improved.

Our only concern was the timing of my mother's Parkinson's drugs and when they were administered. It has to be a set regime of timings in order for her to be functional physically and mentally i.e a booster drug being administered nearly two hours late is a waste of time and caused mum a lot of anguish.

Mum spent several weeks at Bramhall Manor whilst her care needs were being assessed after a hospital stay. The staff were helpful and supportive especially the discharge team who were involved in finding a nursing home placement for mum. The welfare team worked hard to provide opportunities for the
family to visit mum indoors and hold video calls so we could stay in touch. The facilities are excellent and feel like a hotel rather than a care centre. I would recommend Bramhall Manor to anyone who is looking for a care placement. Mum said she didn't want to move at the point where a nursing home place was found! Thank you all.

Rowena Bolton

Job Title: Home Manager

I qualified in 1995 in Leicester as one of the first Project 2000 diploma nurses. I then worked in Reading and Cheltenham for the NHS before moving to care homes in 2007 and moved to Cheadle Hulme in 2009. I have worked in a Clinical Lead role since 2017.


My background and passion is stroke care, end-of-life care and looking after people living with dementia. I love to mentor and coach people on how to give good care to people living with dementia, putting the person first and dementia second. New Care has the values that I hold dear as a nurse which is putting the resident at the centre of everything we do and building a new team at Bramhall Manor means we can move forward with that philosophy as a team.
