My aunt was in care for 6 years, and was a resident of Brampton Manor Care Home for approximately the last 18 months of her life. She had dementia. Her solicitor, who had her POA moved her to Brampton Manor and I was concerned as I thought she'd be anxious and confused. On visits to her in the new home
I found she had a pleasant room, with her own facilities within a building that could have been mistaken for a 5-star hotel. The staff interacted with her and seemed genuinely fond of her. My contact with the staff was at all times professional and helpful. I live 170 miles from the home and so communication was vital. They contacted me on every issue and occasion of importance and I felt involved. I obtained updates on how she was and supportive help when I needed it. Even at the end, they went above and beyond to cover all my issues and gave practical support. I have no hesitation in recommending Brampton Manor Care Home.

Such a fantastic care home. Made Mum and all the family so welcome from the 1st visit. All the staff are so kind and have endless energy. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all bursting with kindness. We thought Mum would take a while to settle but she was happy and settled in no time at all and
we have absolutely no worries knowing she is in very capable and caring hands. Housekeeping does a fantastic job, the place is always gleaming and fresh and the food is excellent so a big thank you to the chefs as well. Thank you to all the staff for taking away all the stress and worries for the family when making the decision to take this big scary step in Mum's life.

Our parents, a couple since they were 15 and 14 years old, moved to Brampton Manor when they could no longer live independently. Although both already had dementia they enjoyed life with companionship, garden walks and communal events. Unfortunately in Dec '22 our mother broke her hip, she soon returned
but died on Boxing Day. Their 80 year relationship came to an end.
Our father has been surrounded by loving care. Staff have helped us understand his health and needs; this has eased our burden.
As his health and memory have deteriorated his room and care have been adapted to ensure his comfort. Examples include a radio and adapting his room to keep him safe. The carers have been infinitely patient and reassuring, particularly when he looks for our mother. Christmas 2023 was memorable with him enjoying presents from his family and the Brampton Manor staff, the visit from Father Christmas was his highlight of the day.
Despite the challenges of dementia he leads a contended life.

My brother was a resident from March 2023 until he passed away on December 20th 2023.
The attention he received was excellent throughout this period and the care was excellent, especially from the four or so carers on floor one where he was positioned in a large, single room.
Any requests he made
were dealt with rapidly and efficiently.
He was 94 years of age when he died and his final year could not have been better.

Everyone at Brampton Manor was kind and friendly and any requests were always met with smiles and enthusiasm. I was made to feel very welcome and loved joining in the games and activities, something I have not done for many years. The food was top-quality and lots of variety. Mealtimes with the other
residents was very social and plenty to eat.
I feel fully rested and more active since receiving respite care and could not have been in better hands.

From the minute you walk into Brampton Manor you experience a warm and friendly atmosphere and lovely surroundings. All the staff greet you with a smile and couldn't be more helpful in making my parents respite stay as relaxing as possible. All of their needs were met and they both look healthy and
happy, telling us stories of activities they had taken part in, especially the curling sessions and music events. As a family, we were safe in the knowledge that they were being cared for in a caring and friendly environment. The food is all freshly prepared and of excellent quality, again a great feeling to know that they are well-fed and nourished on a daily basis. Refreshments on visits were always forthcoming and reception/staff could not have been more attentive to my parents' needs. Thank you, Brampton Manor.

I visited my mum at tea time yesterday with my wife and kids. It's always such a lovely experience to visit Brampton Manor Care Home. My mum has dementia and when we came away yesterday my wife said to me that the staff aren't just good, they show a real talent in dealing with her - patient, kind, understanding
and attentive. The food was great too, as usual. We're very glad Mum is there.

Being usually anti care homes I can't fault Brampton Manor. On every visit it is impeccably clean, staff are very welcoming, residents are fantastically looked after, as a carer in the domiciliary field I am a stickler for everything being just so, and that is Brampton in a nutshell, I would have no
qualms being a resident myself for me to say that it must be excellent.

The nursing home is superb and my aunt cannot be more fulsome in her praise of all the staff. When I visit the staff are always helpful, the premises is inviting, clean and welcoming. The level of facilities and activities for residents is exceptional.

My mother came to Brampton Manor reluctantly after a car accident in which her dominant hand was injured and she was unable to care for herself and we were in the midst of house renovations and unable to look after her. During her two weeks of respite care, the wonderful staff went out of their way
to make her feel welcome and to look after her every need.

From my first contact with Brampton Manor, I was impressed by the friendly and informative staff and the feeling of a caring and compassionate environment. This continued during our initial visit to have a look around right through Mum's short-term stay. Mum made friends very quickly - a jigsaw buddy
on her first day - and was impressed with the care shown to her, the activities she took part in and the relaxed atmosphere. She loved her room and enjoyed walks around the lovely garden. I was very happy that we had left Mum in safe hands.

My mother has been a resident of Brampton Manor for seven months now, her room is delightful and has a wonderful view, it is like a home from home, with her personal belongings decorating it. She settled very quickly into the way of life there, with both structure and freedom. The meals are greatly
varied with all tastes catered for and she enjoys them very much.
The social activities are a great hit with discussions, arts and crafts and physical games such as carpet bowls and skittles being amongst her favourites as she and my father used to be in a bowls team in their younger days. As her needs have changed so the care given has adapted. I would highly recommend this residential care home.

My mother-in-law has been a resident since January 2023. She was made very welcome with her expectations and wishes considered. Whilst she initially had some reservations regarding residential care, she quickly made friends and settled in so well. The care given to her has been exemplary with members
of staff taking the time to get to know her and all the residents as individuals. As a family, we are always welcome, especially the youngest members and the babies! As her next of kin, I am always kept informed and updated with menus and activities. Mother-in-law is certain she has made the right decision for her future care and so do we all, as her extended family.

Our mother moved into Brampton Manor last November and initially found it very difficult to settle and understand what was happening, due to the early stages of dementia. However, both staff and management have been extremely patient, caring and compassionate and as a result, she is now settled and
thriving in her new environment. She even joins in with the daily activities which we never thought would happen. Communication between staff and relatives has also been excellent and although always professional, they are all very approachable and happy to help in any way that they can. The facilities, surroundings, food etc cannot be faulted, but by far the most important thing for us as a family, is knowing that Mum is safe, happy and being very well cared for. While making the decision for Mum to move to a care home was very difficult, we have no doubt that we made the right decision with Brampton Manor.

All the staff at Brampton Manor, from reception through to catering, have the highest professionalism and show great care towards their residents. My father was the first to arrive at Brampton nearly two years ago (June 2021). He is 98 years old and bedridden, but if it wasn’t for the loving care he
continues to receive, he certainly would not still be with us. The staff monitor him constantly, knowing he has only a short time left and it is such a comfort for our family that he is in such good hands. If you are wanting a place for a relative to live out their final time in comfort and surrounded by caring professionals, then Brampton Manor will provide for all their needs right to the last moment. My dad has had the best of times here and now his end is close, I feel he is ready for his next journey.

Since my mother has arrived at Brampton Manor in November she has received the most amazing care from all staff and management under difficult circumstances. Not only has she been well cared for, but they have also offered care and reassurances to myself and the rest of the family. Jokingly we have
asked to be put on the waiting list for when we require assistance. All the team have so much patience with everybody they care for including family members. For anyone looking for the best care for their family members, we would highly recommend Brampton Manor.

I came at Christmas in 2021 for respite and realised I really wanted to stay. I really like the staff. They really do their best and I do have my favourites which I know I shouldn’t. I really enjoy coming out for lunch with other ladies I now call my friends. Overall I am looked after very well and

Akhi has worked in healthcare for over 15 years collecting experience in different settings like Care Homes, NHS and Private hospitals. He first started working in care homes in 2010 and since then has never looked back. What he most enjoys about his role is talking to residents and their families to understand their needs. Apart from holding an Adult Nursing qualification, he is currently pursuing a master's degree in healthcare management from a local university. Iskra is the Deputy Manager at Brampton Manor and is very passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, supporting and providing the best care for them and their families. Over her career, she gained experience across different care fields including residential care, nursing care, dementia nursing and serious head /spine injuries.


Prior to joining Boutique Care Homes as Deputy Manager she was awarded, Nurse of the Year. Iskra also has a College Degree as a General Nurse and a Diploma in Social Care.

Valda has worked in care for over 20 years in various roles. Extremely passionate about residents living their lives to the full and enjoying themselves, being given the opportunity to lead the activities and wellbeing team after a promotion from the reception team, was not an opportunity to miss.
