Brampton Manor

This is the second visit and he was well looked after and fed well. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to keep him comfortable. We were very happy with the services, and we like to think he had a good break. We will take him back on our next holiday.

My mum has Alzheimer's and I have looked after her on my own for six years. She then got very ill and infirm and my own health was beginning to suffer. I had to make the very tough decision that I could no longer look after her needs. Brampton Manor was the answer to my prayers. Stepping through their door is like walking into a warm enveloping hug. The staff are the kindest, most empathetic people and they take great pride in providing many activities for the residents. They don't only look after Mum, they care about me too. The carers are so kind and good to Mum and they love her warm smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them. After one month, Mum is settled, content and her health has improved considerably. I am confident in the knowledge that she is safe, well fed and looked after and I am no longer stressed. I cannot praise the home enough.

My mother needed urgent full-time care as her health and mental well-being had deteriorated to the point my sister and I could no longer keep her safe. I contacted Brampton Manor, and the admissions manager was incredible. He was kind and empathetic and recognised our need for help. Mum was admitted as a matter of urgency, and the staff at Brampton Manor were absolutely lovely and treated all of us with real compassion. It’s a really tough decision to have to make after looking after Mum for so long at home and watching her mental health decline so rapidly. The staff helped with that burden. Brampton Manor is clean, bright, airy and beautifully laid out with lots of quiet areas and communal rooms, so Mum has a choice if she needs quiet relaxation or joins in daily activities it’s up to her. She has access to the garden and even trips into town if it takes her fancy. I can, at last, relax at night knowing Mum is safe and secure, just love everything about Brampton Manor.

We would not hesitate to use Brampton Manor again. I would say though, that for respite stay, it would be more beneficial for the residents to have a larger and more tranquil room, overlooking the gardens.

but she is well cared for by all and very happy. It is a pleasure to visit her and always have a lovely cup of coffee and a chat with everybody.

The staff could not have been kinder and the facilities are great. It has a great atmosphere with lots going on. Mum particularly liked the gardens and the various options for meal times. The place feels more like an up-market hotel that also has excellent carers on hand 24/7. By far the nicest care home I have ever seen.

The staff are very friendly and get on very well with my mother. My mother has been very happy in Brampton Manor which is a huge relief. Brampton Manor is a beautiful building and I would have no hesitation in recommending Brampton Manor to anyone.

My mother had several strokes and we were finding it hard to find a residential home that would be able to assist my mother. From my first contact with Brampton Manor, they were so helpful and willing to help my mother. My father also went there for respite care for a week to help my mother settle. All the staff were friendly, efficient and supportive to both my parents and myself. I would recommend Brampton Manor to anyone who is looking for individual care, as they couldn’t be more helpful.

Friendly, communicative and attentive staff. Any concerns are acknowledged promptly and addressed by the very approachable care home manager. We receive calls on any health issues our friend may have and more importantly, how it was dealt with after the event, giving us peace of mind and trust in the home to give the care, quality of life, fun and friendship in later life. Brampton Manor has a welcoming atmosphere which is reflected in the friendly staff.

My friend moved into Brampton Manor on the 6th January 2022, as he had become incapable of living on his own. He has settled in extremely well and even though there has been restricted access for covid, he has not been too lonely as the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful to him. He has moved rooms to the front of the property, which he prefers as he can see the comings and goings to the home. His sky TV is good for sports.

I have come to this care home while my family are on holiday. I live with them. I think that it is a beautiful place. Very nice lounges and extremely nice bedrooms, with a reasonable wet room. The food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If at some time, I need to become a resident of a home, I would most certainly come here.

Brampton Manor is an amazing place. I now feel extremely happy that my mum is being well cared for. All the staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum is happy here and very well cared for. Not just a care home, it feels like a family and they care for my mum nearly as much as i do!

I waited six months before posting this review as I understand what a big decision it is to place someone we love into a care home. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that I am thoroughly impressed with all of the staff and management at Brampton Manor. Their care of my mother means that I am able to sleep at night reassured that she is safe, comfortable and in the best possible hands. The facilities are excellent and communication of matters concerning my mother's well-being are timely and very helpful.

I cannot recommend Brampton Manor highly enough. I came for respite often a serious eye operation. I received what was more than anyone could have expected - the care, love and attention was there 24/7. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was simply magnificent.

Without exception the staff were excellent. The food was good and plentiful. It was difficult to turn the light on in bed. The wet room was a new concept and confusing as towels and clothes got wet. The activities were compromised out of covid so difficult to assess but if what should have happened had happened it would have been great. Very much enjoyed the Armistice Day celebrations.

So very impressed with the welcome and friendliness of the care staff. My aged relative only entered this care home this week but even I feel like an old friend of everyone when I visit. Lovely atmosphere which I've not experienced in other care homes I've visited recently. Great staff, so well done on your recruitment! Really nice decor and layout.

So far so good. From the first meeting to moving in day, we have been so impressed with what Brampton Manor has to offer. The design of this new facility together with the management team, and their colleagues can't be faulted. We are looking forward to getting to know them all better in the coming weeks. I am delighted at how quikcly my mother-in-law has adjusted to this new way of life. She shows nothing but happiness when we visit. She is now looking forward to the future with the confidence of having 24/7 assistance at all times.

A lovely care home. I can't fault it! My cousin has been a resident since July. I am impressed by both the furnishings and the care.

The resident has been here for 4 months now and is very happy. For us, as his POA's it's nice to know he is now safe, secure and well looked after 24 hours a day but the wonderful staff here.
