Broadlands Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built luxury care home located in Broadland Gate in Norwich, and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents in single, ensuite rooms. Broadlands Lodge benefits from facilities such as a coffee area, bar area and cinema room. There is also spacious living and dining areas for residents to relax, socialise and spend time with loved ones during visits.

The dedicated care team gets to know each resident, working with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans so that their needs are always met. The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

Residents living with dementia receive quality dementia care, provided by colleagues, who are fully trained to ensure their approach is the best for residents living with dementia.

From the moment myself and my brother entered Broadlands Lodge, we have been totally amazed and blown away with the place, staff, food and the dignity and respect shown to our mother. She entered Broadlands Lodge on Monday, October 30th for 4 weeks respite. I took my mum to the hairdresser on Friday
the 3rd of November and on the way back in the car Mum said, "Well what's happening Nigel," I replied, "That's up to you Mum." Her reply was, "Well, I want to stay here, I am not going home." For my mother to make that decision in 5 days says it all. Thank you.

Mum is the most fabulous place at Broadlands Lodge Care Home. Everyone involved in looking after her is so caring, considerate and professional; this feels like a real extended family. The food is absolutely superb and mum is eating more and more healthily than for years.

My husband had two weeks of respite care at Broadlands Lodge. Friends and family who visited him said that he seemed settled and well looked after. The staff were really good at managing his dementia and his personal needs.

Very welcoming. All staff extremely pleasant and fun. All proceedings efficient. The home itself is as new - likened to a five-star hotel. Lots of facilities and able to make teas/coffees. Keeping residents as independent as possible, which is good.

Dad initially came into Broadlands Lodge for respite care, but we soon realised as a family we were no longer able to give Dad the care he required. Dad has been treated with such kindness, respect and humour by all the staff and has settled in well. The home is beautiful, all the staff are very welcoming

I can't thank this home enough, they have gone above and beyond for my Grandad since he arrived here in November.
What a superb place down to the decor, cleanliness and great warming meeting you get every time we arrive to visit from hot drinks to home baked cakes/biscuits. It's so lovely to see Grandad
being looked after with such 5 star treatment, in his words (my whole life has changed for the better)!

Superior care and attention, kind friendly staff, whom look after their visitors nearly as well as their residents. A beautiful purpose built establishment, catering for all needs. Feeling so very fortunate that we found this for our elderly father.

I just cannot praise the kindness, consideration and professionalism throughout this care home. We only had a short time to find accommodation for our father due to emergency building work at his home. The transition was faultless and straightforward, welcoming him like a family member. At 95 it was
daunting for him but was welcomed into a beautiful room with a full afternoon tea for all of us. He particularly enjoys the food and friendliness of every member of staff. All of whom stop to chat with us including the superb chef, the maintenance man and the laundry lady. Our dad is not an easy man to please but he truly does not want for a thing. We are also relieved that we no longer have to worry his comfort, his diet or his loneliness.

Mum-in-Law came into Broadlands Lodge, just a few days ago. At the time she was barely eating and looked dreadful, but already she's looking better. The staff are encouraging her to eat and drink and have taken note of her likes and dislikes. She's already had a manicure and pedicure, too, which is
great! My husband and I are both impressed with the home (light, bright and better than some top hotels!), and the caring staff. I just wish this home existed, when my mum had to go into care.

My mum is the first lady resident of Broadlands Lodge, she has been in her new home for one week. One word describes the experience, amazing! The staff are so caring and attentive. They are doing everything possible to make it a home-from-home. The personal care given, is professional, but with empathy,
making Mum feel comfortable. As a family, we have visited Mum every day to help settle her in. Every time we visit, we have been welcomed by the team and had constant hot drinks and cake! The food is wonderful and the building is just something else. All the rooms are a good size, bright and light and decorated to an extremely high standard, even a rain shower in each room!
We are looking forward to using the cafe and cinema room, next. Thank you to the manager and team.

Tamara has worked for just under 16 years in adult social care, starting as a care assistant and working her way up to a high manager level bringing her a wealth of practical experience and knowledge.


For the last 7 years, Tamara has worked for Castlemeadow care where in 2021 she was awarded the top 20 care home in the East of England.


Tamara brings with her, her genuine passion and enthusiasm for high-quality care.


Tamara’s philosophy is that all residents come first and are encouraged to live their lives to the fullest. She recognises that everyone is an individual and that we are privileged to work in our resident’s homes, treating them as part of our extended family.
