Overall Experience

The home is beautiful and a pleasure to visit. We have found the staff to be kind and considerate. My father-in-law has settled in much better than we ever imagined. I only hope there is somewhere as nice as this, if I ever have cause to use one myself.

Overall Experience
My mum is the first lady resident of Broadlands Lodge, she has been in her new home for one week. One word describes the experience, amazing! The staff are so caring and attentive. They are doing everything possible to make it a home-from-home. The personal care given, is professional, but with empathy, making Mum feel comfortable. As a family, we have visited Mum every day to help settle her in. Every time we visit, we have been welcomed by the team and had constant hot drinks and cake! The food is wonderful and the building is just something else. All the rooms are a good size, bright and light and decorated to an extremely high standard, even a rain shower in each room!

We are looking forward to using the cafe and cinema room, next. Thank you to the manager and team.

Reply from Alicia Bradon, Marketing and communications manager at Broadlands Lodge

Thank you so much for the kind review you have provided. Our team work incredibly hard to provide a home-from-home experience for all of our residents, and it is so wonderful to hear your loved one has experienced just that. We look forward to sharing this review with the team.

Meet the Team (1)

Adam Naeem
Adam NaeemJob Title Home Manager

What I’m most proud of in my role is seeing residents feel safe, respected and genuinely at home.

I have over a decade of healthcare experience, and before my current role, I was a care manager. I also have a level five qualification in training and development.

I think that a successful home manager needs to be compassionate, approachable and organised. Strong leadership is essential, as is good communication skills. You never know what the day will bring, so it is important to stay calm under pressure and make fair, properly informed decisions.

I believe that the best care is provided by people who feel supported, valued and confident in their abilities. A big part of my role is to provide that support. The team here is fantastic and dedicated to providing person-centred care. I always try to lead with compassion and promote teamwork, while also ensuring we meet consistently high standards and deal with any concerns quickly and thoroughly.

My favourite part of the working day is spending time with residents. I value their time and hearing their stories. It is always a privilege to see them enjoy meaningful moments.

Over the last six years, I’ve published three books, which has been a real career highlight and an achievement I’m very proud of.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, staying active and exploring new places. I also like to take time to reflect, which helps me refresh and stay motivated.
