I would just like to make a comment regarding a member of staff who has been beyond caring and lovely towards our grandad. She has shown a genuine positive energy and outlook at work, she has been so supportive towards my granddad and the family.
Nothing is ever an issue and nothing is ever too much to ask for, she really cares and has a genuine kind heart, you can see that this is not just a job for her but she really wants to help and make a change in the lives of those that live in the care home.
I have firsthand witnessed the way in which she speaks to our grandad, she speaks so clearly and slowly allowing our grandad to be able to process what she's saying. She's completely engaged within the conversation.
Our grandad was bedbound for six weeks prior to coming. The carer with a team of amazing staff was able to get our granddad outside! Something which we wasn't sure was ever going to happen again
She is a credit to the team! She's truly amazing. She brings that home feeling back!
Thank you sharing your kind words and appreciation for our team at Caddington Grove. We pride ourselves on providing a person sensed approach to all of the people we care for here and always appreciate when this is recognised by our families. Your words will be shared with the team so thank you.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion shown to my mother in law during her time in Caddington Grove. She was always treated with dignity warmth and attentiveness. When my mother in law's health declined the level of support from the carers only deepened. The team went above and beyond not only in caring for her physical needs but also insuring she felt safe, loved and respected. Losing my mother in law was heartbreaking but we are so thankful she spent her final days being cared for in a safe and supportive environment. To the manager and team a big 'Thank You' the from bottom of my heart
Thank you so much for your kind words and support to the home. She was loved by us all and your family showed the team kindness and gratitude it was a privilege to be part of her journey.
We were really impressed with the care my father received while in your care. He was only with you for a short time, and we were made to feel very comfortable. The communication with us during his final days was very good. Thank you so very much.
Thankyou for taking the time to leave us a review and we are comforted to know you and your relative felt supported during this time. Please do not hesitate to contact u if you require any further information.
I visited my friend in Caddington Grove last week. She lived in there for a number of years. I cannot praise the staff for the excellent care she received. The staff all knew her well and she loved staying in the home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Our aim is to provide excellent person centred care to everyone and it's lovely to hear that this has been achieved.
The building, facilities and grounds are modern, clean, spacious and comfortable.
Always enjoy singer events, brilliant, always kept up to date on health needs ect.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, it is lovely to hear how happy you are with our home and team.
Mum has been a resident at Caddington Grove Care Home for nearly 4 years. The staff have been wonderful. Mum has received excellent care physically, emotionally and even spiritually. Mum is a committed Christian and she has received loving respect for her faith. Mum probably only has a few days to live but the respect and care she received means she is comfortable and peaceful. I cannot praise the staff enough for all they have done for Mum while she has been at Caddington Grove.
Thank you for your heartfelt words. It means so much to us to know that your mum has felt cared for, respected, and supported in every way during her time at Caddington Grove. It has been an absolute privilege to be able to provide the very best for you all.
Mum has deteriorated in her health in the last few weeks but the love, care and respect for Mum hasn't. It has been so lovely to see Mum's face light up when a carer comes into the room. I have heard them talk about Mum with such love, care and concern, recalling memories they have at a time of Covid when I couldn't come in. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We pride ourselves on providing the very best care and support and to have this recognised is wonderful for the team. It has been a privilege to support you all.
The admin team in reception were always so welcoming and showed me great empathy when I was quite often having a moment on my way out.
What a wonderful team. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and touching words during such a difficult time. On behalf of everyone at Caddington Grove, it was truly an honour to care for your beloved husband over the past 10 months. It's our priority to ensure every resident feels cared for with compassion and dignity,...
My nan went into Caddington at the end of July 2024, she was frail, very immobile, isolated and possibly depressed, we'd be caring for her at home for a long time, the idea of letting her go into care was very scary.
Caddington welcomed nan with open arms, love care and support, my frail isolated nan became happy and strong, she started interacting for the first time in years, made friends, fell in love with bingo and joined in with everything. I never expected to see this but she felt safe and that's why she could join in, all the care was given with love and a smile.
My nan was healthier and happier than I'd seen her in years thanks to Caddington.
They gave my nan 6 months of amazing memories and our family exactly the same.
My nan's last weeks and days of her life in the care home, were exactly where she wanted to be, she was happy and safe and loved by all.
I need more words than the max to really tell you how amazing they are.
Thank you so much for your kind words about your nan's experience at Caddington Grove Care Home. We are truly honoured to have been part of her journey and are so touched to know that she felt safe, happy, and loved during her time with us.It means the world to hear how she embraced life in our...
Only one thing could be improved - decor of rooms for respite residents, pictures on wall and cushions etc would make it more welcoming. My mum hated the food.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your mother's stay with us. We're so pleased to hear that she had such a positive experience with our team, from receiving attentive care to making a new friend and participating in activities. Seeing residents regain their confidence and...
My father was admitted at short notice, as he was unable to return home after being in hospital. The care home dealt with everything and got him settled in quickly.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy you felt supported and if there is anything else we can do to support please do let us know.
The improvement and well-being of Mum since being in your care is phenomenal. Mum was sad, drawn and had lost a lot of weight. But since being a resident she has got her natural glow back. Seems a lot happier and has her spirit for life back.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure to support your Mum and we are thrilled how well she has improved and is enjoying her new home.
It has, to date, lived up to and more than I ever expected.
I am sure my husband is going to finally get the best care - he so deserves.
Thank you, thank you and thank you again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback, we really value this and will share the positive message with the team
Helped us out with not even a day's notice, after being let down by another home the day before. Very helpful and polite, to deal with all staff so grateful. Also been invited to still visit and take part in activities. Mother-in-law seemed very happy there. Even got upset when leaving, might not be the cheapest of home, but glad all was good there.
Thank you for your feedback, as a team we try to support both our residents and their families in any way we can. We appreciate you taking the time to feedback to us.
We are so happy with the care Mum receives at Caddington Grove in Dunstable. Caddington is Mum's 3rd care home so we have other experiences to compare with. The staff are so friendly and caring, make time for Mum, and are just kind.
Thank you for time the time to publish your review. Your feedback is important to us as we strive to create a kind home environment.
My mother moved into Caddington Grove in June 2023 as she was no longer able to care for herself. From day one, the staff and management were very supportive to both myself, my family and of course my mother. She always looked well cared for, clean and happy to be in their care. My mum’s health declined in January and, after a short stay in hospital, my mum returned to Caddington Grove, but unfortunately she was then bedbound. The staff were amazing and so attentive to her needs and we also really appreciate how caring they were to my sister and I during my mum's last days. This home is ‘the best’ and we would definitely recommend them; the staff get to know the relatives and are very good at ‘updates’ on the relative's care! Thanks to you all for making my mum's last days as peaceful as possible!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us and we are sorry for your loss and wish to extend our heartfelt condolences. We appreciate your kind words, expressing not only the care given to your mum but also to yourself and your sister in the final days. The team work very hard and it is nice you felt you could relay this and in turn, this will help others in the same situation.
Mum moved into Caddington Grove in August and has settled well. It has made a big difference for her to be able to bring her own small items of furniture and her personal pictures and ornaments to her room. Every member of staff has been very friendly and welcoming, including towards visiting friends and relatives. Mum is now able and keen to take part in the many activities and also enjoys visits from her friends and family. Any minor health issues are picked up by staff very quickly and monitored, and escalated to her GP if necessary, which is very comforting for her family to know that she is well cared for. The home is very well maintained and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the maintenance team who have done their part to help Mum to settle. I would certainly recommend Caddington Grove.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for Caddington Grove. The team greatly appreciate such shining reviews and this in turn helps other families seeking care, feel confident to place a loved one with us.
As well as the staff being kind and caring, the home is beautifully decorated and maintained and gives a real "home from home" feel as soon as you walk through the door.
Please accept our condolences at the loss of both of your parents and most recently your dad. We are grateful for the time you have taken to leave such a kind and helpful review. I will pass your review on to the team with thanks.
My mum has been here for eight months and the improvement in her has been enormous, despite her Alzheimer’s. She was in very poor health when she first arrived after a time in hospital, bedridden and unable to feed herself. She now spends her days in the lounge, feeds herself and is happy and settled which would have been hard for us to believe given her level of anxiety on admittance. We can’t speak highly enough of the staff who have always treated Mum with care and respect. There is a stable team who we have come to know through our daily visits. Would thoroughly recommend Caddington Grove Care Home, it has truly become a home for our mum.
We value the time taken to leave a review for Caddington Grove and are happy that we meet your expectations and also that Mum is happy and settled. We pride ourselves on giving the best care and we are blessed to have such a stable dedicated team. I will forward this on to our staff, with thanks.
I have been very impressed by the level of care and concern shown to the resident I support. When she has had issues that have required an ambulance, I have been kept informed and always in the picture about how we should proceed to offer the best care. I have no hesitation in recommending Caddington Grove Care Home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind and honest review. We pride ourselves on communication with family members and our manager's door is always open for support if need be. I will pass your comments on to the team.

A registered nurse, Emma came to Caddington Grove as the Clinical Lead and was promoted to Home Manager in October 2022. With a Diploma in Adult Nursing with over 15 years experience, Emma led teams in the acute and primary sector before joining Hamberley. A skilled people manager, Emma enjoys recruiting and leading dedicated and skilled teams to provide outstanding care. Outside of her professional life, Emma loves Christmas - and if it were up to her, the Christmas decorations would be up in July! Emma enjoys every moment spent with her children and extended family.
“Our care home is a sanctuary of comfort and care, thoughtfully designed to meet your needs. Every member of the Caddington team is committed to providing personalised support in an environment filled with warmth and understanding.”

I joined the care sector after many years working with both the UK and US governments, where I advised on and managed relocation policies. While my past career journey gave me valuable experience in problem-solving, communication, and supporting people through big life changes, I felt a strong pull to take my career in a more personal and meaningful direction.
After caring for my late mother, I realised how deeply rewarding it is to support and help families and individuals during challenging times. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in care, where I can give back to society in a hands-on way and make a direct difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, I have a love for travelling the world and exploring new cultures, as well as reading a wide variety of books to keep learning and broadening my perspective.
