They are very caring and treat them with dignity and always very helpful when you need them or have a question. The food is good home cooking and a lovely variety. My husband has joined his father a couple of times on a Sunday for roast dinner and said it was lovely.
They really do try and make sure everyone is happy and encouraging for joining in the activities I will certainly recommend them for respite or permanent care.
Thank you for your lovely review. We really appreciate your comments.
My experience of Caddington Grove was very positive. The managers are approachable and really listened to any concerns we had, proved by the actions they took to provide my mother with the best possible care. Two of mum's carers were superb in the personal care they gave. One, in particular, understood my mother's personality and cared for her as if she was her own family. What a star! We owe you all a huge debt of gratitude.
I couldn't ask for any more than that, could I?
Since becoming a resident of Caddington Grove I have seen a marked improvement in my uncle's wellbeing, physically and mentally, he has settled in well and has only praise for the staff and his treatment.
Everything was brilliant except for the food, that is the only issue with Caddington Grove. Everyone and everything else was perfect.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry you feel the food is not to the standard we would hope. We are working hard to address any issues in this area.
A lovely atmosphere and caring staff. A few little niggles like the size of the television in the room.
The staff here are always referred to as our Caddington Angels. They cared not just for the resident but also, with such compassion, myself and my children as they watched their Father succumb to his brain tumour. They met the residents changing needs with humour, kindness and professionalism, keeping him safe and happy to the end. I would not wish that situation on anyone, but if you ever have to face it, I cannot imagine a more caring group of people or a better environment to be in. We will be forever grateful.
My sister has only been here for a short time but every one of the staff have been so friendly and welcoming. The quality of the care and the facilities are second to none and I would definitely recommend Caddington Grove as a beautiful, peaceful home.
My mother spent two weeks at the home, while her daughter (primary carer) took a holiday. The home was well staffed, who themselves were lovely, clearly kind and passionate about what they were doing. The rooms and facilities were excellent. We felt our mother was in safe and capable hands and we took confidence that she was cared for. Our experience from first approaching the home to when my mother left was excellent.
My mum came here for the first time for respite. She thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff looked after her so well. Thank you to all involved. Will be bringing her back again most definitely.
My aunt is very happy and comfortable at Caddington Grove. After struggling at home alone she is now back to her old self, with help from the staff to manage her personal hygiene. She has her hair styled each week and her nails painted regularly. She joins in activities and particularly enjoys the visits from a local pre-school and vocal performances. She attends the cinema screenings and has been involved in a choir performance to celebrate the first birthday of the unit. She is encouraged to continue her hobby of knitting. She joins in exercise sessions with the other residents. I feel confident that she is safe and well cared for and that I can approach senior staff about any concerns.
I have really settled into Caddington Grove. I have embraced the whole thing and have really started to find myself again. I have enjoyed having a bath every day and I fell really relaxed in my surroundings. Everyone here is lovely, from the care staff to the Management. I am being well looked after.
I am very happy here, everyone is kind. The homemakers are always popping in to make sure I am ok. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Staff have been great and very attentive to both residents and visitors. After my first week of respite, I was feeling much better. The home is clean and I cannot fault the food. I have even eaten dessert and I don't usually eat desserts. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Dad has now been settled into Caddington Grove for two weeks and we feel such gratitude to have found this home. The manager and his team have created a 'culture of caring' which permeates all areas of the home. ALL of the staff are SO caring, kind and patient - if they weren't they wouldn't fit in! The manager is approachable, forward-thinking and responsive. From the cinema room to the spacious lounges and Dad's en suite room (with mini-fridge) on the memory floor; all are fresh light and airy.
Yesterday we attended the home's joyful 1st anniversary and all of the residents received a personalised goody bag - such a special touch.
To conclude, I can only say that Dad is SO much happier and we wish we'd found you sooner - thank you, Caddington Grove.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We were so happy to have you all as part of our celebrations.
My nan, unfortunately, had to go into a care home as she was unable to no longer live independently. Caddington Grove was everything the family wished for in a home for nan. Lovely large room and own bathroom, very clean, nan loves the food. Staff are very attentive and friendly.
My mum has entered the care home a week ago and we went to the weekend summer fair. So impressed with the home, simply stunning and staff that are pleasant and seem to take great pride in keeping the people there totally happy. Thank you all at the home for all you do.
The staff are extremely kind and attentive and go above and beyond to ensure their residents are cared for, looked after and generally happy and safe. Each resident is chatted with each day.
It is clean, hotel-like décor. Every thing is provided for the residents. The home have newspapers and make sure mum's choice is on her floor for the residents to read. Anything I have mentioned to the staff has been done immediately and they have been so welcoming to my mum and my family. My mum never wanted to go into a home and I have tried very hard to prevent this. She now needs more attention and so the home was a trial but I haven't seen her so happy for a long time. Every day something is going on to keep the residents entertained and involved. Going to the hair salon, playing pitch and put, meeting nursery children, going on outings, games, cinema clubs, pub nights, quizzes and exercising. Mum actually enjoys being there.
Dad spent 4 weeks respite at Caddington Grove after a spell in hospital. All the staff were kind and encouraging to Dad who was very apprehensive at the beginning of his stay. By the end of his time there he was joining in with some of the activities and was more relaxed and stronger than we had seen him for a long time. His care was excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming to us as a family too. Caddington Grove has a lovely atmosphere and I have already recommended it to a friend who is looking for care for a family member.
It's a good place all round. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated after staying for a couple of weeks and I am sure I have put on weight.

Meet the Team (2)

A registered nurse, Emma came to Caddington Grove as the Clinical Lead and was promoted to Home Manager in October 2022. With a Diploma in Adult Nursing with over 15 years experience, Emma led teams in the acute and primary sector before joining Hamberley. A skilled people manager, Emma enjoys recruiting and leading dedicated and skilled teams to provide outstanding care. Outside of her professional life, Emma loves Christmas - and if it were up to her, the Christmas decorations would be up in July! Emma enjoys every moment spent with her children and extended family.
“Our care home is a sanctuary of comfort and care, thoughtfully designed to meet your needs. Every member of the Caddington team is committed to providing personalised support in an environment filled with warmth and understanding.”

I joined the care sector after many years working with both the UK and US governments, where I advised on and managed relocation policies. While my past career journey gave me valuable experience in problem-solving, communication, and supporting people through big life changes, I felt a strong pull to take my career in a more personal and meaningful direction.
After caring for my late mother, I realised how deeply rewarding it is to support and help families and individuals during challenging times. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in care, where I can give back to society in a hands-on way and make a direct difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, I have a love for travelling the world and exploring new cultures, as well as reading a wide variety of books to keep learning and broadening my perspective.
