My mother was transferred from hospital for rehabilitation. The standard of care and attention to detail was exceptional. The environment is very welcoming and homely. The facilities available enable family members to share memorable times.

Mum moved into Castle Brook in March and found it quite difficult to adjust at first. Any "settling in" issues that I raised with the staff was addressed immediately - I never had to raise an issue for a second time. The facilities are first class. The staff are all friendly and genuinely caring and patient, and even during busy periods they will make time to discuss any concerns that might arise, and they LISTEN!
Mum chooses to remain in her room so I cannot comment on the activities the home provides.

Mum has now settled and is very happy now, and I don't believe she could get better care anywhere. I would not hesitate to recommend Castle Brook, it is truly excellent.

My wife has been in Castle Brook for 12 months now where she has been very well looked after. All needs are met and she is quite content. The management and staff are always cheerful and helpful.

I first visited a friend only a couple of weeks after the home opened, sadly she died 18 months ago. During the 16 months I visited, there were so many problems - 4/5 managers, staff, care, food, everything causing unhappiness for residents. I am now visiting another friend who is on the NHS floor and I am amazed at the difference and how the new manager has turned it around- congratulations. My friend is very happy and if you have good food, a relaxed, cheerful environment it aids recovery and contentment.

The management and staff were very supportive end of July/August when my very disabled mother was bereaved. They also assisted with specialised transport and carers support on the day of the funeral, which was much appreciated. All the carers showed great compassion to Mum and all the family.

Overall Experience

The staff at Castle Brook are caring and conscientious, however, there are too few of them at the weekend, overall, the facilities are excellent though my father's living room/bathroom could do with being spruced up. I have requested a new armchair for his living room because the one that is there at the moment smells of urine and stale food. I do believe my father is getting the best care available given his state of health. Thank you to Castle Brook.

I'm the General Manager for Castle Brook and have been with WCS Care since 2016.

I joined Castle Brook in 2017, with my first and biggest job to date helping to move 32 residents from the old Woodside home in Warwick to Castle Brook, whilst it was redeveloped into the care village it is today.

I'm passionate about supporting carers to make Castle Brook the very best it can be and my mission is to make sure there are no barriers to what care home residents can do, just because they are living in a 'care home'.
