This place is amazing all staff are dedicated to the residents always interacting with the residents.it is more like a hotel than a care home.the food they serve is first class.big shout out to the chef and his team.There is always lots of activities and acts on.

My mum has been a resident at Eothen Care Home, Wallsend for about 1.5 yrs now. She is flourishing in the caring, kind and beautiful environment. The staff all take a lot of time to know mum and they have brought out her sense of humour which is wonderful for us to see. It is such a comfort to know that mum is somewhere that she now feels is home, where she is safe and loved. Thank you to all the carers and management.

She is settled and is happy doing her wordsearch with a cup of tea!!

The staff are fantastic! They create a warm friendly environment without fail. My Mam is so well looked after. Accomodation is always spotlessly clean. Wonderful variety of food, organised events, so many things day and night to join in with. The gardens are beautifully kept and lots of outside and communal seating. Staff communicate back regularly with updates always keeping us involved with Mams care. They are a credit to your organisation and we can't thank them enough

I could not fault the service my mother receives, All the staff are really friendly and genuinely care.

I have sometimes wished the home could take her to the odd appointment. But that's my only minor gripe.

Mams been in care now for 7 months can not fault care home, loverly staff are great, can't do enough for mam, gardens are realy nice take mam out, and around gardens when weather nice, have singers come in for entertainment,

The Home is amazing and we as a family feel so lucky that we found it for our sister.

Eothen is a warm and caring home with staff that really care and I'm so grateful that they care for my mum.

The care my Mum receives at Eothen Homes Wallsend is amazing. The staff there are truly dedicated to their jobs, nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly and really take the time to get to know each and everyone of the residents, it isn't just a job they truly care about everyone, including family. They understand how hard it is when you have to make the difficult decision to place a loved one in care. My brother and I cannot praise the staff there enough and are truly grateful every day for the dedication, commitment and compassion they show.

Could not have asked for a more friendly/professional/helpful/courteous staff, they have all exceeded all my expectations. The way they treat everyone with empathy and fulfil everyone's needs, I cannot express my gratitude in helping our family in these difficult times. Cheers.

My partner recently passed away in this specialist Care Home after almost 2 years. Initially, I was able to take her out to continue her outside interests including choirs and concerts. This never caused a problem even when returning after 10pm. The last 10 months were particularly hard as she lost a lot of weight and was having difficulty in chewing so was moved onto a 'soft food' diet i.e. basically pureed food. This was specially prepared and was made to look as real as as possible: I was initially taken in by the carrots and peas! In the last four months, her needs became more demanding with 2 carers needed for all movements, personal care etc. The care she received was exemplary and was never too much and always given with a smile even after 11.5 hours of working. In her final days, she and I were shown the maximum compassion and contact was always promptly made; the liaison between the home and the medical practice is extremely strong and helped greatly in the last weeks.

The surroundings inside and out are also exceptional, warm homely and very comfortable - Thankyou for keeping our mam safe and loved, her family are beyond grateful for what you all do for Sheila. X

My mam is in your Wallsend Care Home. It is absolutely beautiful staff are amazing with her. It is spotlessly clean and a lovely bedroom. Mam has settled in well, and we have no problems with anything. They let me know if Mam needs her pull ups or toiletries. It looks like a 5* hotel and not a care home.

My mam in law is well looked after in this care home. It is a beautiful place, not like any home I've seen before.

This home is wonderful, friendly and caring staff who care for the residents in a way that can not be any better. Before mum was admitted, we viewed other homes, but found this to be the best. Nowhere else is this good.

Activities in Simon's house hold are imaginative and fun. It was good to know he joins in enthusiastically.

Staff always greet the family and are easy to approach. Our experience has been that any queries or concerns are addressed immediately.

Eothen Care Home, Wallsend,, has quite simply, taken over the care of our beloved mam, when we could no longer give her the level of care she needed. Our family is truly thankful we were able to place her there, as it is a much sought after establishment. Its reputation precedes it, and rightly so. It is a beautiful home whose ethos is rooted firmly in the happiness of its residents.

It will be two years this coming April, since our mam has lived at Eothen, and we can tell that she is loved and very well cared for. It is an easy going atmosphere where all residents have the freedom to move around at their leisure, whilst being monitored at the same time. The staff and management are lovely and very approachable, nothing is too much trouble for them.

I feel that special bonds have been forged between my mam, our family and all staff. We all feel very comfortable with each other. It is, after all, my mam's home now.
