Farnham Mill Nursing home is a bright, clean, modern home that is full of light and big spaces in its communal spaces creating a lovely atmosphere when we were able to visit the home. The rooms are of a good size and well maintained. It has a wide and varied programme of activities that residents can enjoy and the activities team is great in maintaining fun and engagement. We were kept updated on Mum's care with regular emails and of her activities with regular photos and a newsletter. We chose Farnham Mill because of the facilities and their nursing expertise with caring for those with a deteriorating memory. Although Mum passed away recently, the nursing staff was caring and sympathetic as well as professional. Although Covid restrictions meant we could not attend Mum in person during peak lockdown, we were able to arrange video meetings through the staff. It was also reassuring to know that there was someone with Mum 24 hours a day in her final days.

I am so pleased that we chose Farnham Mill Nursing home for my father. The building is modern, bright and purpose-built and the rooms are very comfortable. A lot of thought has gone into the design to make it both homely and stimulating and the owners have thoughtfully invested in technology to entertain and engage the residents. It is the staff, however, who really give the place its soul. They are all, from reception to the kitchen, maintenance, domestic, activities co-ordinators, personal and nursing staff, caring, warm, welcoming, patient and professional. The management team always has time to listen and any issues are dealt with quickly and effectively. They have worked hard to keep the residents safe during the pandemic and staff have often gone above and beyond, making personal sacrifices. Residents have been kept busy and engaged with a brilliant and imaginative range of activities, on a different theme each week. My father is very happy and settled there.

I have been so impressed with the care my mother has received this year during the Covid crisis. The home is extremely well managed. They have gone to great lengths to facilitate visits from family members. The staff are tremendous. They have made enormous personal sacrifices in terms of seeing their own families in order to minimise the risk of catching Covid 19. The building and gardens are beautifully maintained making it a pleasant environment in which to live.

It has been lovely to see how much my grandmother has improved since being at Farnham Mill. The communication has been fantastic, especially the weekly activity emails where I can see what my grandmother has been up too, the activities team put so much effort in. Farnham Mill have a lovely heated gazebo for visiting which is such a bonus as I get to visit my grandmother even when the weather isn't great. My grandmother has nothing but good things to say about all the staff, accommodation and especially the food!

My Uncle is a resident at Farnham Mill Nursing home. I have always been very close to him, so I couldn't be happier with the care he is receiving. It truly is an exceptional place and has excelled during the Covid 19 outbreak. The communication from the staff and management has made these unprecedented times easier to cope with.
My Uncle loves his room and the communal areas with all the facilities and activities that are provided.
The grounds and gardens are stunning, and he just loves sitting by the living pond watching the wildlife and listening to the sound of the running water.

Sending a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Farnham Mill for everything you do for my Uncle.

Farnham Mill was selected as the ideal home for my parents given that it looked really modern, had large rooms compared with other homes and the management team were so helpful and supportive. My parents moved into the home in August prompted by my father’s deteriorating health. In reflection, we absolutely made the right decision. Mum and dad had been very comfortable at the home receiving the highest standards of care and compassion. As my father’s health deteriorated further, we couldn’t have asked any more from the nursing and care staff as well as the management team, especially in his last weeks. Aside from the superb care that dad received, my mother also received so much support and kindness, which she still enjoys today. I would also like to compliment Farnham Mill on the excellent levels of communication to keep the family fully updated. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Farnham Mill to any prospective client. Many thanks from the whole family!

My father-in-law had a sudden health crisis in late September 2020. He was the main carer for my mother-in-law. My husband and I cared for them both 24/7 for 1 week but saw that we could not continue this long term and that they needed much more care than we had realised. Farnham Mill really 'pulled out the stops' for us and offered my parents-in-law lovely accommodation from the start of October. We have been so impressed with the excellent standards of care, nursing and good humour from every member of staff we have had contact with there. Nothing is too much trouble. Individual attention to the residents' needs is second to none. Especially impressive is their investment of effort, time and money to keep all their homes Covid 19 free and in establishing and refining the safest possible means of virtual/distanced 'visiting'. Buildings are important, but it is the warm and caring Farnham Mill staff who make it a safe and caring home. A big thank you to all the staff.

The change in Mum since she came to live at Farnham Mill is life-changing. From a frightened confused lady to how she is today is incredible and is all due to the full-time care and kindness of all the staff and the stimulation of all the different things on offer in a beautiful home, it is wonderful to see her so contented and happy. It has given us peace of mind to see that she is now living her life and not just existing. The management and staff at the homes have been fantastic in their foresight and dealings with the effect of Covid and keeping the residents safe and continuing to offer the same quality of care despite all the difficulties they must encounter.

My mother-in-law spent a months respite stay at Farnham Mill. All the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help and care for her. She loved the food and the variety that was offered. The cleanliness of the home was immaculate. The activities were brilliant, and she so enjoyed celebrating Ladies Day at the races when the horses visited.

My Grandmother had a wonderful stay at Farnham Mill for some well-needed respite care. In such uncertain and worrying times the staff were amazing in ensuring I could keep in contact with my Gran via Facetime, this was amazing as it was difficult not being able to visit but it lifted her spirits as she got to see her family and great-grandchildren, especially my one year old who has just started walking, it was lovely that Gran was still involved. Gran told me that she was really enjoying her meals and the staff were amazing which made me feel at ease knowing she was being well looked after and was happy.

My Mother was admitted to Farnham Mill for 4 weeks on respite care at the end of May 20. Even though it was during a very difficult time with the Covid 19 pandemic the staff were brilliant and they made my mother feel safe and welcomed. This was obviously very comforting for all of our family.
This is the third time that my mother has used the respite care provided by this company and each time I can not fault them. The staff are always courteous, respectful and so welcoming that they make what is for some a difficult decision a little bit easier.
The homes are well maintained and cleanliness is of the utmost importance, which is especially relevant during this current situation. The homes have excellent activities programmes and the food is varied and nutritional.

All staff that I encountered were always willing to help with any questions that I or my mother had and they always explained things with a caring kind attitude.

My father was a resident at the Mill for a year. I cannot praise highly enough the care he was given. The staff training in dementia is so apparent in the way they care and treat the residents.
My family felt part of the Mill family when visiting and we were all looked after and treated with such care and support.

This is an amazing environment with outstanding care and we were so sad to have to say goodbye to them all.

My mother came to Farnham Mill for end of life care in July 2019. Her health improved as she settled in and received excellent nursing care alongside kind and competent day to day assistance. She did find group living difficult as she has been very self-sufficient all her adult life but she had huge praise for all the staff members and felt very cared for which was a great support for me at a difficult time.

This is an absolutely first-class facility. My mother was on her dementia 'journey' and I could not have wished for a better place for her to see out her years. Sadly, she has recently passed away, but she would have wanted it to be known how much she enjoyed her time here. With a host and variety of activities to stimulate the mind, alongside staff that not only care but understand how to look after our loved with dementia. Not everyone has dementia and those elderly residents are also well looked after on the lower floors of the home. My mum started off on the ground floor, but eventually made her way to the penthouse. I cannot recommend Farnham Mill highly enough.

I have just spent over a week as a respite resident. This was my second visit and it felt like coming home. Everything about Farnham Mill is as near perfect as you can get. The staff are dedicated to the comfort of those in their care and the rooms are delightful, cosy and attractive. The food is varied and likes and dislikes are catered for. Every afternoon there is a programme to suit all tastes - we had a lovely carol service on Wednesday. I can find no criticism except the coffee could be stronger. I look forward to my next visit.
