The staff are friendly and attentive.They put on so much for the residents and families. My papa seems very happy here and would recommend to anyone.

It's always a pleasure visiting Farnham Mill. The staff are very accommodating, polite and friendly; they go the extra mile to support residents and visitors. Farnham Mill is always clean, tidy and welcoming, allowing for pleasant visits.

Visiting Farnham Mill was an absolute pleasure. We were made to feel very welcome, and all the team made time to chat, advise and support, which was very much appreciated.

We as a family are very pleased with the nursing home. Staff go above & beyond to make residents comfortable & feel special. Nursing home is always clean & food is lovely. Activities are always taking place & there is a lovely friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. My aunt has been a resident at Farnham Mill since September 2018 and is now aged 99 (and a half!). She is extremely frail and suffers from mixed dementia, with her mood varying from day to day. The care staff at Farnham Mill relate well to her and take the time to talk to her on a 1:1 basis when her mood is good. She is treated with respect and kindness. She does not participate in the activities other than the visits from animals and seems to enjoy listening to piano playing when in a good mood. By her own admission she is a fussy eater but the home caters for her limited tastes. The home is always spotless, we are greeted very well each time we visit and are offered hot drinks. The fees are at the upper end hence the slightly lower marking for value for money. But all in all we are extremely pleased with the way my aunt is cared for at Farnham Mill.

My husband was admitted to Farnham Mill in October 2024 in a bad way. The nursing staff have taken excellent care of him physically and mentally. Everyone has been so kind to him and always has a smile. The food was varied and very nice. Activities and entertainment are amazing with outside trips, crafts and female singers, tap dancing and a dog show, baby farm animals and event celebrations.

Have visited on 3 occasions. All the staff are so friendly and calm. My friend is calmer. They are very good with her.

Mums life before her move was limited to being nearly totally housebound in a small flat. When she moved, she was able to choose several different areas to sit within this spacious home and people watch, including a beautiful balcony overlooking a stream. Even if too poorly to join in most of the activities, activities staff would sit with her and chat. Thank you Farnham Mill.

"A taste of Haven" is the way we would describe the love and care mum and all our family have experienced through the time walking with mum in her end-of-life experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was so well looked after, each day we saw her, she was so clean and tidy and well-groomed. The staff there felt like family to us, nothing was left out in caring not only for mum but for us as well. Truly amazing staff. The lady on Reception particularly stood out for us, again, nothing was overlooked in her approach and the sensitive way she dealt with us on arrival. 12/10, we would score her. A brilliant ambassador for your company.

The reception staff are extremely personable and helpful. All staff greet visitors and interact with residents most kindly. Daily entertainments and activities with a wide variety, so something for everyone. The home itself is bright and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere.

A great nursing home would not want our mum to go anywhere else. She is looked after so well and could not wish for better care.

I have nothing to say that I am not happy with at Farnham Mill. It is so good to find a caring home that always informs us, and if anything that we are not sure about will always be looked into. Every member of staff is professional and caring. Our friend is very happy about everything and, in turn, makes us happy too.

My friend chose to stay at Farnham Mill during her last illness because it was home to her. It felt like home to me too and I was able to be with her whenever I wanted, day or night , with the added reassurance of professional care and support at hand whenever I needed it. I will always be grateful.

Farnham Mill staff have always treated my Granny with the utmost care and attention. From the times I have visited, I can see they are very dedicated to their residents, making sure each person receives the individual support they need. I know my Granny receives plenty of emotional comfort, care, and friendly chats! The atmosphere at the home is always warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make it feel like a true community.

As soon as you step into Farnham Mill, you are greeted by a friendly and inviting atmosphere created by the staff from every department - Reception, Care, Nursing, Activities, Housekeeping, Hospitality, Maintenance, and Management. The caregivers are kind and patient and always on hand to help residents and visitors alike. The nursing team is outstanding, answering questions and providing support, even offering a comforting hug when needed! The level of communication I receive from them is excellent. I would like to give a special mention to the kitchen staff, who accommodate special dietary needs. My 95-year-old Mum has coeliac disease, and it's reassuring to know that all her gluten-free meals are served separately, wrapped in cling film, and clearly labelled. I can rest easy knowing Mum is well looked after, not only by the care teams but also by those who work diligently behind the scenes. My siblings and I highly recommend Farnham Mill, as they have been nothing but exceptional.

My experience of becoming a new volunteer has been one of delight and happiness. The ladies on reception are always so welcoming and helpful and there is always a smile to greet you. The carers and all staff are so caring and professional towards the residents on all floors and nothing is too much trouble for them. The activity staff are equally delightful and put so much effort into making the residents happy and included in an appropriate activity for them. I have also assisted on a few trips out recently where we visited a Garden Centre, Cafe and Pub and the organisation went so smoothly and the residents had a lovely time. I feel as though I have slotted straight into a very friendly group of Volunteers and a very happy home.
