Newbury Grove offers quality nursing, dementia and residential care on a permanent and short-term basis.

The home is close to Newbury town centre in a pleasant residential area, and is arranged into smaller suites with stylish dining rooms and lounges on each floor. Each en-suite bedroom is individually designed, and there are five apartments for couples.

The luxury facilities include a hair and beauty salon, a cinema room and a welcoming café that's perfect for a chat over tea and cake. Outside there are beautiful, wheelchair-friendly, landscaped gardens to enjoy.

The friendly lifestyle team organises group and one-to-one activities that are tailored to residents' interests.

Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each
individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing
Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Beautiful surroundings, purpose built however what is more important to our family is the very high standard of care from all the staff and the happy atmosphere within the home.

A very well designed purpose built care home offering a high standard of accommodation and security for older family members requiring various levels of assistance in their normal day to day routine. This particular care establishment is managed and staffed by a highly professional team with an appetite
for kindness and the ultimate care and comfort of their residents. It is very reassuring to know that our family member, who now resides in a Gracewell home, is in such caring hands. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this residential facility to others.

Upon first opening with few residents, Gracewell of Newbury functioned well and there were ample carers and staff. Two months in it appears, at times, understaffed with many more agency staff, a lack of consistency with management and little activity for residents. Personal care for my relative has
been changeable and not always followed the care plan. Improvements are needed but overall the majority of staff are friendly and effective in their role.

The family are very happy with how mum has settled into Gracewell, and are very pleased with the level of support offered not only to mum, but to all us family members too. All the care staff take a genuine interest in mum and make sure she has everything she needs. The reception team are very welcoming
too and the bistro area has a great buzzy feel during residents activities, mum loves visiting the bistro with her guests and being able to share the complimentary refreshments on offer.

Adarsh Kurian

Job Title: General Manager

I am a Registered Nurse with over fifteen years of experience. I lead the entire home team at Newbury Grove, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the home and its facilities to ensure we meet all of the standards required of us.


I appreciate how important it is to residents and their loved ones that they receive regular information and updates about their care, and what’s happening in the home. I’m passionate about keeping everyone updated, including our team, and about celebrating our successes.


One of my favourite parts of the day is spending time with residents and catching up with their families. We’re one big family here at Newbury Grove. I look forward to welcoming you to the home very soon.
