I am extremely impressed with Haling Park Care Home. My mum moved from another home so I have a huge appreciation of the facilities, environment, culture and most importantly the care provided to Mum. Every time I visit Mum is well-maintained and she is clean and well. All staff members are warm, welcoming,
thoughtful and engaged. The food and drink are great and the service is impeccable. Mum celebrated a milestone birthday and we celebrated in the private dining room, the staff were amazing! Mum is very happy here and so are we. Highly recommended.

During my eight weeks here, I have made great progress in recovering from a broken hip. Excellent physiotherapy, nutritious food and a very supportive atmosphere, all helped immensely. Spacious corridors with handrails along the wall and large rooms encouraged me to exercise daily. The carers, staff
in the front office, nurses and the visiting doctor all really care about residents and about maintaining and improving standards across the board. This home has a strong community spirit built on good humour, cheerful affection and strong respect for the dignity and privacy of residents. It has been a privilege to be here! It is an absolutely fantastic care home.

The resident lived at the Haling Park Care Home well over a year and the staff are really lovely people and he loved being at Haling Park, he loved the food and he also enjoyed being looked after from the staff.
Colin passed away 12/4/2023 at 6:30pm and the staff were fantastic as they all understood
it was his end of life and all staff was very welcoming to anything that he wanted, he got.
Haling Park Care Home is the best place to have any relative live as they're very caring people.

Mum was at Haling Park for the last 11 months of her life. We cannot praise the staff there enough. Everyone: managers, reception, nurses, care staff and all of the hospitality/support staff, were so kind and caring throughout. We could rest easy knowing that our mum was well looked after. We wish Mum
(who had Alzheimer's and was blind) had been better able to engage with all the wonderful activities but it was good to see her dancing again on one occasion and making a new friend, at age 97! When Mum was in her last days, the care for her was exemplary. We knew we were in safe hands throughout and we felt cared for, too. I can never thank the staff enough for the experience of being with Mum when she passed, peacefully. Mum once told me "everyone here is so kind and friendly. If you ever wanted somewhere to stay, I can thoroughly recommend it here." Well, Mum, we are not quite ready for that yet, but it was good to hear you say this!

Dad was only in Haling Park Care Home for a short period of time after leaving hospital. The facilities and staff are simply the best. I am happy that Dad spent his last few weeks in such a lovely place with caring people.

My uncle gave up the will to live. He was living with depression and various illnesses. When he came to live at Haling Park that all changed. It gave him a new lease of life and he was happy for the first time in years. He was comfortable, wasn't lonely and his needs were met by a lovely professional
team of staff. What I liked most is that all the staff were always the same faces, not agency staff, which was reassuring. A massive thank you to the team.

My stay here at Haling Park is an enjoyable experience. I was looking for a care home that would be able to help my recovery from a long illness, bed bound and in hospital. All the staff here are very helpful, coming across as very professional but with a friendly demeanour. They have helped me set
up additional services such as a physio and are more than willing to provide some support during these sessions.

My husband was at Haling Park for 17 months and received excellent care and understanding from all of the staff. He was happy and content, always cared for and as a family, we felt included, supported and that he was safe in the staff's care. We could not have asked for a more dedicated team of staff

From my first moment at Haling Park Croydon, I was met with a warm welcome and treated with compassion and respect. The staff were attentive and kind and my every need was anticipated and satisfied. Nothing was too much trouble and during my stay, the staff would go out of their way often to satisfy
my needs and make me as comfortable as possible. The staff are competent and efficient but more than that, they work from the heart, strive to make each resident feel loved and special. Adriana Calmeiro

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2021

I joined the Haling Park Care team in February of 2021 as Deputy Home Manager and was promoted to Home Manager in 2023.


Originally from Portugal, where I earned my degree in Nursing and have been working as a Registered Nurse in the UK ever since. Having gained experience in both hospital and care home settings, elderly and dementia care became my passion care.


Whilst working with various specialities in the hospital, I was able to develop my clinical skills and be exposed to different environments, as well as perfect important skills such as organizational and priority tasks. Nonetheless, my strong belief in providing person-centred care encouraged me to attempt the Care Home setting, and I found my vocation.


My road took me to Haling Park Care home, where staff are caring and focussed on meeting residents’ needs as a whole, by working as a team, liaising with the multidisciplinary team and involving resident’s family and friends.”

Saide Daude

Saide has been working at Haling Park Care Home since the very beginning, with 10 years of experience in maintenance, building and DIY within a care home setting, he is an integral part of the team.


Saide ensures that residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times.
In addition to maintenance, Saide safely transports residents to and from appointments and outings in our minibus.

Daryll is proud to say that he is part of the team to opened Haling Park, from only a few residents to now full capacity home. Apart from providing a high standard of care, 15 years working in palliative and dementia nursing has taught me to treat everyone with kindness, and utmost respect and see them as individuals beyond their illness and grief.
