Harcourt Gardens

My father decided to try life at Harcourt Gardens for 4 weeks of respite following several falls and experiencing acute loneliness following my mother's death. From our initial enquiry and visit to date, dad has been shown great kindness and care from all the staff and I have also been made truly welcome as his family. Despite the pull of life before, dad has made the decision to make Harcourt Gardens his permanent home and we are looking forward to happier times.

The staff have all been extremely pleasant to deal with and generous with their support. I really have no difficulty in recommending Harcourt Gardens to friends and relations in a similar situation.

Both my father and mother-in-law have recently moved in together at Harcourt Gardens and they have been received with the warmest welcome from a kind, caring and compassionate staff team. The dementia and residential communities are calm and carefully designed, with a series of domestic style living spaces to make their residents feel at home. The rooms are always immaculately clean and tidy, and the variety and quality of food is perfect. The inclusive atmosphere is what particularly appealed to us; partners with differing needs can transition between floors to spend as much time as they wish with their other halves.

Overall stunning. It has been a tough time for our family, my father needs nursing care following a stroke and my mum has dementia. We looked around other homes that could take them both, but Harcourt stood out by a long mile and have not put a foot wrong since. They genuinely care for not only their residents, but family too. Communication is fantastic, happy to answer endless questions with a smile, they're understanding, provide lots of information, so supportive, such wonderful staff. Best decision we made. Thank you.

I had been on holiday for 3 weeks, on my return Mum had told me the number of visitors she had had. I spoke to them saying Mum was pleased to see them. They all commented on the four receptionists at Harcourt Gardens. How friendly and helpful they were, especially with the logging in and out machine. They made their first visit easy as not sure what to do.

My 93-year-old husband came to Harcourt Gardens and was immediately cared for with care and compassion. Initially we had a few issues as he needed more care than originally assessed. As soon as this was highlighted by the manager and myself it was addressed and my husband was moved to a more suitable room. The care he receives is of a very high standard and he is completely settled.

On each and every visit to Harcourt Gardens, I have seen the care and attention given by all the staff (numerous ones) to visitors and residents alike. Without saying, the building, furniture, decor and the total layout are beautiful, but the most important aspect of this home is the care and constant attention to each and every person witnessed and experienced on each visit. To the staff - keep up the good work and your smiles and timeless kindness are the life, blood and joy.

I cannot recommend Harcourt Gardens enough. From the day my mum arrived, the staff were friendly and professional. I live abroad, and when I arrived to visit, I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff. As an auditor and hotel consultant, I dean my life checking systems and processes of different establishments, and I am more than satisfied that my mother is safe and well cared for. Access to facilities is only achieved with a secure fob which is acquired from receptions. The staff are all polite, smart and professional in their area of expertise, and nothing is too much trouble.

The facilities and team are second to none.

The environment can be compared to a four-star hotel with helpful, considerate and professional staff. My mother could not be cared for better.

Excellent staff. Care first class in every way.

An excellent care home with dedicated staff. Facilities are extremely good and the food is excellent. The easiest way to describe Harcourt Gardens is that it is live living in a five star hotel. I wanted the best for my husband and I believe I have found it.

The home environment is absolutely lovely. We are enjoying popping in to see my dad and step mum and seeing how well they are being cared for.

Home is nice for residential care but query dementia care.

A beautiful care home, sensational facilities and dedicated staff. As a family we will always be grateful for the last year of her life spent at Harcourt Gardens Care Home. We are eternally grateful and would highly recommended.

A warm, caring, clean environment with friendly helpful staff. It has been a successful transition from independent living into 'care' for my father. He is well cared for and the facilities are second to none. As a family we could not be happier. An outstanding care setting.

My mother was one of the first residents at Harcourt, and my sisters and I have been thrilled with the care and kindness she has had since she moved there. All the staff, without exception, have been very caring and patient with Mum, and her quality of life has improved so much. I would highly recommend Harcourt Gardens.

The care and support at Harcourt Gardens are exemplary. We moved our father into the community in December. I have been really impressed with the friendliness and all staff responsiveness and professionalism.
