Mom has been a resident at Juniper House for 8 1/2 years. Unfortunately she has an accident in January and had a stay in hospital which was unsettling and at times traumatic for her. I have only the highest praise for the manager and staff are juniper as she has excelled since returning to the home late in February. Mom is very well cared for, she is very comfortable and all her needs are met. I have no concerns. Well done every one!
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're so pleased to hear that your mum is thriving after such a difficult time and that she continues to receive such great care and support. Our team members at Juniper House are absolutely dedicated to their residents and your kind words will mean so much to them.

My mother was resident for only I week as a bit of respite care. All the staff were excellent and really looked after my mother and gave me a well earned break them looking after her myself which I find harder to cope with. Everything was great and was a very helpful experience for the near future. I cannot fault anything.
Thank you for your kind words about your mother's respite stay at Juniper House. We're so glad to hear our staff provided such excellent care and enabled you to take some time for yourself. It's wonderful to know the experience was helpful and reassuring for the future. Your feedback means a lot to us, thank you.
I find the overall experience as a visitor excellent. All the different individuals I have interactions with is consistent. Staff are friendly, professional, caring, supportive and respectful. I could not wish for a better place for my mothers care needs. I feel all staff go above and beyond what is expected by them. This starts immediately as you enter the building, front of house reception always greet you with a smile whatever the time of day. As well as the care team, they too know my mother and show an genuine interest. I love them all.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's wonderful to hear that the staff consistently go above and beyond in providing care and support, not only for your mother but also for visitors like yourself. Your kind words will mean so much to the team, thank you for sharing such positive feedback.
Mum was welcomed into her new home with upmost respect and affection by all the staff (and I mean all!) and that continues today.
Mum was allowed to bring her armchair, photos and china figurines which has helped her to settle in.
The Lounge and Dining room is a very social space where mum and her friends (yes mum now has friends!) have their breakfast, dinner and tea, the carers wait on them hand and foot and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious too!
Mum loves going out in the minibus and taking part in some of the activities. She's played bingo, done some Zumba, played skittles and taken part in a quiz.
She didn't do anything before she came here, and now her life has been enriched! It's changed her life for the better and mine too. Thank you so much to the manager and your team!
Thank you for your wonderful review. It's heartwarming to hear how much your mum has settled in and is enjoying life at Juniper House. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming and thriving environment and we're delighted to hear how she has made new friends and is enjoying the...
The residents likes and dislikes are catered for. I always see staff around when I leave and arrive. I am welcomed and it is very rare that I am not offered a drink and even rarer that I am not greeted, even if the staff are extra busy. I have been around when something needs to be done and have noted that residents are patiently informed and the message has been repeated in a kindly/appropriate manner, with time and care taken for the resident to think and reply. Signage and instructions are clear. Additionally, staff are around and happy to help and/or explain when needed. Temporary decorations are regularly refreshed/changed for other pertinent/seasonal ones and cleanliness/repair/decor is kept well and attention paid where needed. This makes visiting as easy as possible even on a difficult day. Many thanks to all involved.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so pleased to hear that you feel so welcome and supported during your visits. Our team takes great care to ensure residents are comfortable and well-informed, and it's wonderful to know that this is reflected in your experience.
I'm very happy living at Juniper House and have settled in well. The staff are very good and look after me really well. I'm very independent but when I ask for help they always help me with my everyday needs. The food is excellent as I always eat it all and I love one staff member in particular on activities as she's very good and helps me with anything.
Thank you for your lovely review for Juniper House. We're so pleased to hear that you've settled in so well and that our staff are providing the support you need while respecting your independence. It's wonderful to know you're enjoying the food and activities-our team truly appreciates your kind words, thank you.
My mom was adamant that she would never go into a home. She has just had her fourth visit for respite at Juniper House and loves it! She like the staff, the rooms, the meals, the activities. Everyone is so welcoming and it means a lot to her that people remember her. She is treated with respect and feels that people are interested in what she has to stay. From my point of view, I have had an excellent experience. Staff are helpful, reassuring and kind. I know that my mom is safe and being well looked after. Thank you. (She is looking forward to her next 'holiday' in Feb/March!
Juniper House staff could not be more welcoming, warm, caring, humorous and empathetic towards the residents and their visitors. I spend a lot of time with my granny (hours at a time) and they could never do enough for her or for me. I am welcome to get everything she needs and never made to feel unwelcome.

It's heartwarming to know that the care, warmth, and empathy of the staff have had such an impact. We will be sure to pass on your kind words, which the team will be very proud to read.
My mum has been here for the last 3 years. She suffers with dementia and has nothing but care and compassion. Over the last few months, she has been on end of life and we all have been treated with the utmost respect and empathy. Thank you for your continued support.

Came to visit my Nan today for the first time since she came to live at Juniper House. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and everywhere was so lovely and clean. We went to my Nans room where she has settled into really well. It was so lovely to see her today looking very well and happy and she has even made new friends.
Thank you for your five-star review of Juniper House, the team will be so happy to read your kind words. It certainly sounds like your grandmother is thriving there.
In the past months, I did feel that only one activity person was not enough to occupy and stimulate all residents. This, I believe has now been rectified.
Thank you for your review, we are pleased to hear that you felt so supported as a family during this difficult time, the staff are certainly very special. You are absolutely right, we are delighted to have successfully recruited another activities coordinator to join the team at Juniper House.

My father moved to Juniper House from another nearby care home that he had been unable to settle in. Since moving he has received first-class care and attention. The carers are very kind and friendly and attentive to his needs.
Thank you for your review, we are delighted your father is settling into Juniper House so well.
Thank you to everyone at Juniper House for making my father-in-law's final years so happy and peaceful. The care, attention and respect that he was given was of the highest standard we could have wished for. It was always a tremendous comfort to us to know that he was in a warm, comfortable and safe environment being looked after by dedicated and professional staff. Juniper House is a first-class residential care home which I cannot praise highly enough. Thank you again.
My grandad has been at Juniper House now for two years. My family and I visit him weekly and are able to stay updated with the various activities and events that are put on via meetings and the newsletter. Juniper really is a home away from home for us - the staff are all caring, welcoming, and approachable. Nothing is too big a task for anyone. It is evident that my grandad feels comfortable, safe and at home and I completely trust and know that he is receiving the best care possible. To all the staff at Juniper - thank you!
