Excellent care and facilities. There is no care home like this one for continuous excellent care from carers, cleaners, lifestyle providers, laundry, clerical/front of house and management.
Team Kingfisher - you are amazing.

Very much appreciated.

Kingfisher Court is fantastic, all the staff are friendly and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The activities on offer are fantastic and residents are regularly taken on day trips and do activities they enjoy such as bowling, shopping or a drink in a local pub. All areas of the home are clean and the rooms are of very high quality. The library and tea rooms are lovely places to sit with relatives and the onsite hairdresser is an added bonus. Highly recommended and as a family, we are very happy with the home.

From initial contact about visiting (we had a 400-mile round trip), the team were exceptionally accommodating. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Every staff member we encountered were smiling, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed a fantastic cup of tea with our Aunt in lovely surroundings and left feeling so high about the whole experience.

Wonderful visit to see my aunt yesterday. Was travelling quite a way, so had spoken to very friendly staff beforehand to ensure all OK. We were so well received - a lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere, and it's very reassuring to know this wonderful team is caring for my aunt. Very grateful to know she is safe in a wonderful, clean and loving environment.

My grandma is so happy living here and is very well cared for. She gets involved in lots of activities, more than she ever would have at home. It is a happy, caring home from home. My eldest son says he would like to live here as everybody is very friendly and my youngest son likes visiting and looking at everybody's doors!

Whenever I visit my mum, I see she is very well cared for. As a former healthcare worker, I observe a team that functions well to provide excellent and compassionate care to all of the residents, including involving them in a wide range of activities, often tailored to individual needs. Credit to the manager for building such an excellent team is due.

My grandma has been living at Kingfisher Court for a year and a half and I can honestly say that the love and care she has been given from day one has never changed, if anything it has grown. Every single member of staff knows who she is and always stop to speak to her. Although she isn't able to communicate very well they always make her smile. I would recommend Kingfisher Court to anyone, it's a real home from home.

We moved one of my nans from another care home to Kingfisher Court, as we were unhappy with the care she was getting there. Since coming to Kingfisher Court her life has been transformed and her quality of life has improved, she really is like my nan again. She enjoys her meals, has regular social interactions, has lots of one-to-one time and the staff at the home have got her walking again. I cannot believe the difference in her, since she came to the home a few months ago and she looks a million times better, always dressed properly and looks well cared for. The home is just lovely and very clean but the atmosphere in the home just feels special, like a proper home from home. The staff are all kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. We were so happy with the changes in my nan that my other nan moved in a few weeks later and she loves it too! I cannot recommend this home enough, it is just the best.

I moved my mum into Kingfisher Court in June, it was a difficult decision but the best one I have made, wish I had done it sooner. She's so happy and not lonely anymore. The home is spotless, the rooms and the food are lovely and there are great facilities, it's such a nice home - like living in a hotel. The activities she is doing, she wouldn't have done if she was at home. The care workers do an amazing job, and the entertainment and activities are first-class. Kingfisher Court is a credit to the management and staff, nothing is ever too much trouble and I am kept updated on everything.

The care home looks lovely and bright, colourful. The staff are very friendly and warm and caring. My sister looks great, happy and well cared for. I only come once a year to visit, since I work overseas but I follow the Kingfisher Court website and was delighted to see about my sister playing dominoes and enjoying activities.

I am passionate about working in care and have always considered myself to be a people person. It is a huge privilege to work with others and to know that I am the driving force behind a service where all people matter. I consider myself to be a kind and empathetic person who is a good listener at all levels.

I have worked in care for a long time, and there are many reasons for this. I love the fact that the smallest of gestures mean the most to others, and if, during the course of my working day I can make others feel valued and genuinely cared for, then I know that I am making a difference to someone’s life. Caring for others is the most rewarding career to have.

An integral part of my role is to forge strong relationships with residents and their families and friends, their input will be fundamental to the quality of the service at Kingfisher Court. I enjoy supporting and developing my staff team to deliver the highest standard of care. I take pride in providing outstanding care to my residents, and having a good team who share the same values is vital to achieving this goal.

I am a perfectionist who enjoys the attention to detail that comes with this job, I like to focus on the standards of attainment required to hold the position that I love.

My door will always be open, I am responsive and ready to help in any way that I can. I both encourage and welcome any feedback that will help us to shape the future of the home.

I’m Nicky, I have worked in Health and Social Care for around 17 years now and my work means so much to me.

I enjoy working with people, supporting them, and encouraging them, leading a happy, fulfilled team! I love getting to know the residents that I support, hearing their stories and learning about their lives, and delivering hands-on care, that enables me to develop a person-centred approach.

I haven’t been here at Kingfisher long, but I have a good feeling about the home, it is such a warm, welcoming, happy place to be. I’m sure that I will fit in well here, I work well under pressure and love having an open door to enable both the residents and their families and me to develop a close professional relationship based on honesty and trust. I feel very fortunate to have been given this opportunity and I am grateful for the warm welcome that I have received. My job takes up a lot of my time but when I’m not at work, I spend my time playing with my 3 Children, enjoying the company of my husband, and saying I will go to the gym!
