Mousehold View of Artisan Care is located in Sprowston, Norwich and offers person-centred Residential Care, Dementia Care and Respite stays that can even be booked a year in advance!

The home offers a shared care experience with companion suites, designed for couples, siblings, or friends seeking a caring and supportive environment together.

Mousehold View features 77 spacious bedrooms – each with an en-suite bathroom and are furnished to an incredibly high standard - with specific Residential Care and bespoke Memory Care communities situated throughout the home.

Residents can rest assured that they will have 24/7 access to the support they need – bedrooms are equipped with a resident interaction nurse call and information system. Quality of life, however, is more than just the care residents receive. It is about enjoyment, engagement through tailored well-being programmes and comfort too!

Mousehold View has a dedicated Cinema that is perfect for those with a passion for films, a Café where residents can get to know each other over a cuppa and a slice of cake, and a Barbers/Salon too when a spot of pampering is the order of the day. Residents also have access to a luxurious Therapy Suite especially designed to support holistic programmes and the home's beautiful Terrace and landscaped Gardens.

At very short notice the staff were able to get all paperwork completed for my mother to have a respite stay while I went on holiday. All the staff were so caring to myself and my mother, which gave me confidence that she would be in safe, loving and caring hands while I was away. She loved the room
she had, joined in many group activities even visited the in-house hairdresser and the refreshments she shared with her visitors all contributed to an enjoyable stay. The food was enjoyed greatly by my mother at every meal and often had seconds. I will be recommending Mousehold View Care Home to others.

It gives me very great pleasure to write a review of Mousehold View Care Home. My wife spent two weeks in respite care in the home after a period in hospital and the effect on her confidence and psychological well-being was truly profound. She came home extremely well-motivated and able to cope with
everyday life with increased enthusiasm. From every aspect this care home is of the highest calibre. All facilities are of impressive standards in design and hygiene and create a very attractive, caring atmosphere. The organisational side is reassuringly efficient: each member of the administrative staff is instantly communicable, friendly and knowledgeable. The personal care staff were equally of a very high standard: they were all warm and friendly, extremely competent and of good humour. Their relationships with residents created a really pleasant atmosphere and the activities arranged for residents were varied and stimulating. I am extremely grateful.

We were absolutely delighted with the fantastic respite care my Dad received at Mousehold View. The entire team was incredibly attentive and empathetic to his individual needs, even handling his occasional moments of resistance with warmth, humour, and professionalism.
The home itself fosters a wonderfully
warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I was always kept fully informed of any developments regarding Dad's well-being or medication needs. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even with my frequent visits (which I hope weren't too much of a nuisance!). I'm already missing the Fish Fridays and Sunday lunches, but I'm sure my waistline will appreciate the break!
It's truly clear that Mousehold View has a dedicated and caring team, and we're incredibly grateful for the excellent care they provided Dad. Thank you all again.

Without exception every single member of the team that I have met at Mousehold View is delightful and has helped the family deal with what was a distressing and difficult time in Mum’s life. The quality of care is wonderful, as are the surroundings. The thought that has gone into providing a caring

My father moved into Mousehold View on the 23rd of December 2023 following a brief stay in hospital. I cannot thank the friendly, efficient, professional team at Mousehold enough. From the organising of Dad's move from hospital to the continued care and organising of his day-to-day care since then.
The home is excellent, beautiful rooms, the food is amazing, dad loves meal times. He has a beautiful room with a view of the road where he likes to sit and watch people go by. My mother spent respite here too which was superb. Our family cannot thank the staff enough.

My father moved to Mousehold View just before Christmas straight from a spell in hospital. I came up from Cornwall with my husband to visit and we couldn't have been more impressed, it was far nicer than the hotel we were staying in!
I haven't seen my dad so happy in years. Every single member of
staff we met was so lovely and caring. I had been so worried about my dad but seeing him there, so happy and content, has completely allayed all my concerns.
Since my dad moved in my Mum spent a week in Mousehold View for a week's respite. She enjoyed it very much. I wish she would move in full time too!

After a short spell in hospital, it was decided by the family that Mum could no longer cope with looking after Dad who has dementia, so as a family, we started looking at care homes. Dad had always been adamant that he wouldn't go into a home, but he's been at Mousehold View for a few weeks now, and
he is loving it there. He's more alert and 'with it' and gets involved with activities, and now calls it his home. The quality of the rooms and facilities are fantastic, bright, clean and spacious, it's a new build, designed for purpose, and it shows. The staff are a delight, they cannot do enough for the residents and us visitors, they really seem to enjoy their jobs and working there, and nothing seems to be too much effort, which reflects in the contentment of the residents, and for our family, it's a huge relief that dad is happy and well cared for. Mum has just been in for a week's respite care also and thoroughly enjoyed being looked after for a change. Thank you all.

Our mum recently stayed in Mousehold for a two-week respite period. The customer service manager and all the staff were helpful, friendly and approachable. Mum stayed on the dementia floor and was looked after really well by one lady especially. We were slightly anxious as have used other care homes
for respite in the past. We need not have worried, everything worked well, her room was immaculate and the food and entertainment were excellent.
Thank you for all your help and support, our mum truly enjoyed her stay and the homemade cakes!

My mum stayed at Mousehold View for 2 weeks and enjoyed her stay. I was really impressed with everything about it. I couldn’t find any fault with anything, it’s like a 5-star hotel, an amazing place, and now my mum is back home she says it’s the place she would live full time when needs to be, thank

We needed some respite care for Mum while we were able to take a short break. Our first in five years.
Mousehold View Care Home guided and assisted us completely from first interest to welcoming Mum and we were able to relax in the knowledge that Mum was safe and cared for while we were away.
When
we collected Mum, she was excited to tell us about her week and the wonderful staff who cared for her, especially the chef. We won’t hesitate to use Mousehold View again.

We as a family needed to find a suitable place for my father-in-law to spend a week while my mother-in-law could have a break.
We were delighted to find Mousehold View.
The place itself is beautiful, spacious and clean.
The receptionist introduced us to all the staff who were all so friendly and
keen to make sure they had all the information needed to cater for my father-in-law's needs.
During his stay he enjoyed the garden, activities and food!
We will definitely be booking again in the near future. Thank you all.

My mother, wife, sister and myself were very warmly welcomed when we visited Mousehold View, and the facilities looked superb. Following that visit my mother became resident in the home for respite care. She will shortly complete a stay of two weeks in Mousehold View, and two further weeks have been
booked. The care home has not only lived up to but exceeded our expectations. Every member of the team has been welcoming, friendly and helpful, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Communication is excellent, with really good reporting and emails giving information, for instance about the activities for the following week, which my mother has enjoyed greatly. The home is spotless, warm and comfortable and the food is excellent. Today we attended the blessing of the home, and having chatted to some of the other residents it is clear this is a very happy, caring and safe place.

Mousehold View is a beautiful, welcoming place, tastefully furnished with so many facilities. Mum is really comfy in her room. She has been reassured by the lovely, professional, understanding staff when she feels nervous. Mum is slowly coming out of her shell and has been encouraged to participate
in all the activities. She has started to eat again, even putting on weight. Rob the chef cooks really tasty, nourishing meals and serves them in a lovely restaurant. Family with small grandsons love the visits to the craft room. Can't fault this place at all. It has everything Mum needs.

We have just returned from a week of well-needed rest, while we have been away we have entrusted the health and welfare of my brother-in-law to Mousehold View Care Home.
Having spoken to my brother-in-law each day, we knew he was happy and when we picked him up he said he could not have been looked
after any better, in fact, that the staff had looked after him like a brother, high praise indeed.
The home is just that, lovely furnishings set in small room settings that resemble a home. Everything has been thought of for the convenience of the residents, there is an activity coordinator and a dedicated room for the activities. A wonderful cinema room. The dining room would put many hotel dining rooms to shame.
The staff are welcoming and very friendly but very professional when dealing with any of the residents or their relatives.
When we need another break, the Mousehold View will be the first place we will approach for the care of our brother-in-law. An extremely well-run home.

Excellent service. Delicious meals. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was very comfortable throughout my stay.
I would always be happy to stay there again should the occasion arise.
My husband also joined me on my second week. He also was made to feel very welcome and comfortable and his restful
stay.
We were able, on a nice day, to sit in the very pleasant garden.

My husband spent seven days in the home and I have to say he was very well looked after by all the staff who were lovely. The manager and his team made him feel very welcome and he enjoyed the food while he was there. He enjoyed the arts and crafts and brought a picture home he had painted of a butterfly.
Would definitely recommend and would take him there again for respite care.

for nine days respite. He had an amazing time and was happy and healthy when I collected him. He took part in many varied activities and enjoyed them all. The home is beautiful and the manager and staff professional whilst also
being welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.
