The whole care team and staff were all so lovely, caring and considerate and made mum and family who visited, very welcome. Tea/coffee was offered and honestly, nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you all again, what a wonderful team you are and you should all feel so proud.
Thank you so much for your glowing review about Mousehold View and your kind words about your Mum's experience during her stay. It was an absolute pleasure to have Mum stay with us and we look forward to welcoming her again soon!
My mum came to Mousehold View for 9 days of respite care whilst we had a holiday. Her care was first class and all the staff went out of their way to make her feel welcome and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Her room was beautiful, spacious and with en-suite facilities. My family visited daily and we were made to feel very welcome too and were offered drinks. They spoke very highly of her care and reported that my mum was having a brilliant time. She was encouraged to interact with the other residents and take part in the various activities and was very happy and relaxed. When we collected her she said she didn't really want to go home so she obviously enjoyed her stay. Thank you so much to all the staff for their wonderful care. It was so good to be able to go away in the knowledge that she was well looked after and happy.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such amazing feedback about your Mum's experience at Mousehold View. Will be sure to pass on your kind words to the team and we all look forward to Mum and your family at the home again soon!
The staff were all willing to help if required and dealt with any enquiry, which provided a good atmosphere. My stay was short, but I left with many happy memories of Mousehold View Care Home.

The 2 weeks were perfect for her to rest and recover.
The staff are all kind, welcoming and patient.
She much enjoyed the luxury of being able to use a bath again.
She also was delighted with the massage.
The cafe area is light and pleasant, with tea, coffee and cake readily available.
On one warmer day, she was able to sit in the garden, which is spacious and quiet. Thank you to the customer service manager and all the team.

Day-to-day living there was a joy. The staff were, without exception, caring, cheerful and helpful. If I rang my bell anytime, day or night, a member of staff would come to see what I needed, even a cup of tea and biscuits at 3 am.
Mousehold will be first on my list if I need respite care again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an amazing review about your experience at Mousehold View and the care that we provide. I will be sure to share your lovely feedback with our home team and we look forward to welcoming you again soon for your next stay!
This was my Mother’s first time in respite care and the whole family including Mum approached the stay with trepidation. By the time Mum left 3 weeks later the best reference possible was that she looked forward to another visit. Even my wife and I thought about checking in! The food was the only slightly disappointing aspect but we hear the chef has ‘moved on’, which shows the management is on top of everything and doesn’t hesitate to improve things when needed. I don’t hesitate to recommend Mousehold and other neighbours from Mum’s village have also become guests.
Thank you for taking the time to share your invaluable feedback with us about your Mother's stay at Mousehold View. It was an absolute pleasure to have her stay with us and I and all of the team look forward to welcoming you all again at Mousehold View in the future too!
At very short notice the staff were able to get all paperwork completed for my mother to have a respite stay while I went on holiday. All the staff were so caring to myself and my mother, which gave me confidence that she would be in safe, loving and caring hands while I was away. She loved the room she had, joined in many group activities even visited the in-house hairdresser and the refreshments she shared with her visitors all contributed to an enjoyable stay. The food was enjoyed greatly by my mother at every meal and often had seconds. I will be recommending Mousehold View Care Home to others.
Thank you so much for your exceptionally kind words and great review about the care we provide at Mousehold View and your Mum's experience with us. It was a pleasure to have her stay with us, I will be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to the team and we look forward to welcoming Mum and all of your family at Mousehold View again soon!
It gives me very great pleasure to write a review of Mousehold View Care Home. My wife spent two weeks in respite care in the home after a period in hospital and the effect on her confidence and psychological well-being was truly profound. She came home extremely well-motivated and able to cope with everyday life with increased enthusiasm. From every aspect this care home is of the highest calibre. All facilities are of impressive standards in design and hygiene and create a very attractive, caring atmosphere. The organisational side is reassuringly efficient: each member of the administrative staff is instantly communicable, friendly and knowledgeable. The personal care staff were equally of a very high standard: they were all warm and friendly, extremely competent and of good humour. Their relationships with residents created a really pleasant atmosphere and the activities arranged for residents were varied and stimulating. I am extremely grateful.
Thank you so much for your glowing review about your and your wife's experience at Mousehold View Care Home. Your exceptionally kind words and feedback mean the world to each and every one of our team and we look forward to welcoming you both at our home again soon! Thank you so very much.
The home itself fosters a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I was always kept fully informed of any developments regarding Dad's well-being or medication needs. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even with my frequent visits (which I hope weren't too much of a nuisance!). I'm already missing the Fish Fridays and Sunday lunches, but I'm sure my waistline will appreciate the break!
It's truly clear that Mousehold View has a dedicated and caring team, and we're incredibly grateful for the excellent care they provided Dad. Thank you all again.

Without exception every single member of the team that I have met at Mousehold View is delightful and has helped the family deal with what was a distressing and difficult time in Mum’s life. The quality of care is wonderful, as are the surroundings. The thought that has gone into providing a caring atmosphere is notable and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Mousehold View team for taking such good care of Mum in this next step of her journey in life.

It is a pleasure to have Mum staying with us and see her building friendships and settling into her new home. Your review and sincere words really do mean so much to all of our home team. Thank you so much!
My father moved into Mousehold View on the 23rd of December 2023 following a brief stay in hospital. I cannot thank the friendly, efficient, professional team at Mousehold enough. From the organising of Dad's move from hospital to the continued care and organising of his day-to-day care since then. The home is excellent, beautiful rooms, the food is amazing, dad loves meal times. He has a beautiful room with a view of the road where he likes to sit and watch people go by. My mother spent respite here too which was superb. Our family cannot thank the staff enough.
Thank you so, so much for your amazing review about you and your family's experience at Mousehold View. It has been super to see how Dad is flourishing, happy and content in his new home. Rest assured, I will be sure to share your feedback with our team and thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the care that we provide at Mousehold View.
I haven't seen my dad so happy in years. Every single member of staff we met was so lovely and caring. I had been so worried about my dad but seeing him there, so happy and content, has completely allayed all my concerns.
Since my dad moved in my Mum spent a week in Mousehold View for a week's respite. She enjoyed it very much. I wish she would move in full time too!
Thank you everyone at this beautiful care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such amazing feedback about your Mum and Dad's experience at Mousehold View. It really does mean so much to all of our home team and your kind words are very much appreciated.
After a short spell in hospital, it was decided by the family that Mum could no longer cope with looking after Dad who has dementia, so as a family, we started looking at care homes. Dad had always been adamant that he wouldn't go into a home, but he's been at Mousehold View for a few weeks now, and he is loving it there. He's more alert and 'with it' and gets involved with activities, and now calls it his home. The quality of the rooms and facilities are fantastic, bright, clean and spacious, it's a new build, designed for purpose, and it shows. The staff are a delight, they cannot do enough for the residents and us visitors, they really seem to enjoy their jobs and working there, and nothing seems to be too much effort, which reflects in the contentment of the residents, and for our family, it's a huge relief that dad is happy and well cared for. Mum has just been in for a week's respite care also and thoroughly enjoyed being looked after for a change. Thank you all.
Wow! Thank you so much for your outstanding review of your family's experience at Mousehold View Care Home and the care that we provide. My mum stayed at Mousehold View for 2 weeks and enjoyed her stay. I was really impressed with everything about it. I couldn’t find any fault with anything, it’s like a 5-star hotel, an amazing place, and now my mum is back home she says it’s the place she would live full time when needs to be, thank for everything.

Mousehold View Care Home guided and assisted us completely from first interest to welcoming Mum and we were able to relax in the knowledge that Mum was safe and cared for while we were away.
When we collected Mum, she was excited to tell us about her week and the wonderful staff who cared for her, especially the chef. We won’t hesitate to use Mousehold View again.

We were delighted to find Mousehold View.
The place itself is beautiful, spacious and clean.
The receptionist introduced us to all the staff who were all so friendly and keen to make sure they had all the information needed to cater for my father-in-law's needs.
During his stay he enjoyed the garden, activities and food!
We will definitely be booking again in the near future. Thank you all.

My mother, wife, sister and myself were very warmly welcomed when we visited Mousehold View, and the facilities looked superb. Following that visit my mother became resident in the home for respite care. She will shortly complete a stay of two weeks in Mousehold View, and two further weeks have been booked. The care home has not only lived up to but exceeded our expectations. Every member of the team has been welcoming, friendly and helpful, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Communication is excellent, with really good reporting and emails giving information, for instance about the activities for the following week, which my mother has enjoyed greatly. The home is spotless, warm and comfortable and the food is excellent. Today we attended the blessing of the home, and having chatted to some of the other residents it is clear this is a very happy, caring and safe place.
Thank you so much for your amazing review about our home, staff, care your mother is receiving, life enrichment and our home menus too! Your feedback absolutely means so much to each and every one of our team and I will be sure to share it with them. Thank you for attending our home blessing too -...
