Nightingale House in Derby is a throughput service for young adults aged 18-25.
The home provides care for young people with complex disabilities and/or Acquired Brain Injury. Recently renovated in 2016 Nightingale House includes a range of high tech equipment to prompt dignity and aid in independence. Experts in sensory technology have designed and installed a therapeutic sensory room as well as heated flooring an interactive mat and sensory seating.
As well as long term care there are also short breaks bedrooms designed with young people in mind with specialist equipment designed to meet the needs of the individual.
Staff at Nightingale house are also there to support development and encourage young people to progress into a semi-independent life where possible.
