The facilities are very good. The building is under 10 years old and is well maintained, and the communal lounge and garden areas provide welcome alternative space to resident rooms. Mum is a keen user of both.

My stay was very pleasant. The staff were helpful and unfailingly kind to myself and to the other residents in the home especially those with dementia. There were plenty of staff to help at mealtimes and all residents were called by their name.
I would visit again if I needed to.

My lovely mum has been at Parris Lawns for 15 months. It was a difficult decision to make to move mum from her home, but the staff here made her so welcome and really have become her second family .. not only to mum, but also to me. I have not one single bad word to say .. the staff are ALL amazing, friendly, diligent, caring people who wrap arms of love around you and your loved ones. Thank you Parris Lawns for making a difficult time so seamlessly easy.

Mum has been at Parris Lawn for 3 months. Due to her dementia she found the move very difficult but the staff have been unfailingly kind and understanding and have helped her settle in. She feels safe and I can see how she is now relating to the staff and appreciating their care. I have found everyone, in all roles, so welcoming and supportive. The home is a very pleasant environment and has all the facilities mum might need as her needs progress. The programme of activities is great and mum is always encouraged to join in, even though she mostly refuses. But none of this is as important as the love that the staff show the residents - thank you to each of you.

All staff are friendly, kind and so knowledgeable about her care needs and family. They spend time chatting to her, playing games with residents and encouraging her to join the many activities.
I know she is being cared for and respected by the people at Parris Lawns.
Her needs have changed during her time living there and I know she is safe. When she was unwell last year, an ambulance arrived within 40 minutes and a member of staff accompanied her to hospital. Everyone acted so quickly and as a result she was well and home very quickly. I can't thank the staff enough for all they do.
That's not even mentioning the food and afternoon cakes. I wish I could bake like that!

My father was well cared for in the two weeks he was there. He joined in with the activities and enjoyed the singing the most. I have got my work cut out to provide culinary delights to match what he received when in your care, now he is home. All the staff were excellent, from housekeeping to nursing.

Mum embraces the daily organised activities and enjoys the food. Her room is well positioned with a lovely large window from where she can observe daily activities in the outside world. Visiting is very flexible and Mum enjoys family and friends calling in and sometimes taking her out for lunch etc. Mum also continues to do a couple of regular activities outside the care home.
Great peace of mind knowing Mum is well settled and content.

Its been a tough time for my wife and her loving family, but we are SO PLEASED with the wonderful levels of care and facilities, plus the genuine positive atmosphere. My wife referred to her surroundings as "home" for the first time last Saturday and that simple word meant the world to us as up to now she has been unsettled on her dementia journey. She seems happy and contented and speaks well of the staff who look after her so kindly. Thank you.
