My mother has been a resident at Ridgewood Court since it opened in 2018. The care she has received has been amazing. Staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate her needs even when her dementia sometimes makes her seem ungrateful. My confidence has continued to grow over the years, despite COVID and many staff changes. Well done Ridgewood Court.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear your mother has felt well supported since 2018 and that our team's care and understanding, particularly around her dementia, have made a positive difference. Your continued confidence means so much to us.
The facility is split into three floors, and each floor has its own meeting rooms and restaurant, which is quite nice as it makes the experience more intimate for the residents.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted our team's care and attention to residents' wellbeing has stood out, and that our layout helps create a warm, personal environment.
My mum has been in this home for over 10 years and has received excellent care and love from the staff. I live abroad and, not being able to visit as often as I would like, it is very important for me to have full confidence that she is well looked after and cared for. I never have to worry that this is not the case. I am so very grateful to tge whole team....
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear how happy and well cared for your mum is, and that you feel reassured even from abroad. Your appreciation means a great deal to the whole team.
Every member of staff was very good and couldn't do enough for me. Was on respite care but would return without hesitation.
Thank you for sharing your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear you felt so well supported during your respite stay and that you would choose to return. It means a great deal to us.
Staff were great, communication was very good. Especially team leaders Jane and Jeni. Great facility. Would recommend and dad would return without hesitation dad didn't participate in activities but would have benefitted from some chair exercises but not available.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback and want you to know it will be passed on to the team, as we are always looking for ways to enhance the experiences we provide.
The staff at Ridgewood Court are outstanding. They showed remarkable kindness, patience, and understanding, always treating my mum with dignity and respect. Their knowledge of Alzheimer's and their compassionate approach gave our family great reassurance that she was safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
What truly set Ridgewood Court apart was the empathy shown by the staff, particularly at the time of my mother's passing. The sensitivity, support, and kindness extended to our family during such a painful time meant more than words can express. It was clear that the care and compassion they showed was heartfelt and sincere.
I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at Ridgewood Court Care Home and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a caring, supportive, and professional environment for a loved one

Every single person involved in Mum's care from day one showed such professionalism and kindness throughout her stay. She was treated with dignity, respect and genuine care in a clean and safe environment. The staff communicated really well with us about her needs, monitored her health and made sure that she saw the GP/nurse whenever required.
Seeing Mum so happy and well cared for in her final year means the world to us. Her final chapter was so much more full of life than we could have hoped.
The last few days with Mum were made so much easier for us by the wonderful staff. We will never forget the kindness we were shown as a family.

My mother has been a resident for nearly 3 years. The staff have been wonderful - very caring and pleasant at all times. Mum had a fall about a year ago and was admitted to hospital. Two of the staff wouldn't leave her side until she was safely in the ambulance. I will never forget their kindness!

For the second time in a few months, I went into Ridgewood Court for respite care. I was admitted on the evening of my operation, and stayed for a month. I received excellent care, and slowly recovered my confidence thanks to the encouragement I was given. I cannot praise the staff too highly. They were so patient and kind. I would recommend this care home to anyone in need of short term or long term care. Like the staff, the residents are also a wonderful group of people whose company I enjoyed. The overall atmosphere is first class, and I am grateful to management, staff and residents alike

During my mother's five month stay at Ridgewood Court, she always received excellent care and attention, specific to her needs and personality. Carers were generally very thoughtful and considerate, and always willing to engage with mum and the family. During mum's final days, all the staff and particularly the team leaders, showed her and us such love and support that we will be forever grateful. Many thanks to all the staff at Ridgewood.

It's deeply meaningful to know that our team's attention to her individual needs and the support shown during her final days brought comfort to both her and your family.
Ridgewood is a modern, bright beautifully furnished care home with wide corridors and plenty of space. Everyone who works here has a smile on their face - in fact this home's biggest asset is its staff - they are all wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and kind individuals who treat the residents with respect and love. It feels like one big family. There are activities provided almost every day with something for everybody - even those who may prefer to stay in their room. My mum received the absolute best end of life care here - nothing was too much trouble to the staff and they also made sure I was ok.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful you felt supported and that your mum received the care and compassion she deserved. Our team takes great pride in creating a warm, respectful environment, and it means a lot to know that came through. Your feedback is deeply appreciated.
Mum has been a resident for 4 months since moving in she has blossomed and seems so much happier than she was. The staff are truly wonderful and caring without exception. My stress levels have decreased dramatically. Thank you.

My mum went in to rest bite for 2 weeks, I was very nervous about the hole situation, but them nerves soon disappeared when I saw how the hole staff from the office to the careworkers took care of my mum and made it so easy for her to adapt so quickly.I would highly recommend this company and have no hesitation taking my mum back as I know she would be well looked after.
Thank you so much for your kind words for our team at Ridgewood Court. Our team takes great pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment...
My father joined Ridgewood Court in October 2024, due to a decline in his dementia. I have been so impressed with the care he has received and the respect and dignified way he has been treated. By far the biggest asset at Ridgewood, are the staff. They are angels without wings! All of them are beyond excellent in manners and care. There is always one or two that just go that bit extra. One staff member has has been outstanding for dad. The receptionist - always cheery and still mucks in.
I visited Ridgewood Court several times in the past to visit with a friend. I have always been impressed with the grounds, the entrance area and the residents' rooms. The room I visited was carefully laid out with personal effects, mementoes and was a warm and welcoming sight. So much so that I was moved to tears at my first visit knowing that this was indeed a safe and secure place with care of the resident at its heart. I have seen for myself some of the activities provided at Ridgewood Court for the residents to join in with or not as they wish. I couldn't wish for this resident to be looked after anywhere else.
Thank you for your wonderful review for Ridgewood Court. The team are devoted to enriching the lives of their residents and will be so proud to hear your feedback about the care they provide for your friend.
Our lovely Dad has been a resident at Ridgewood for around 18 months and he suffers from dementia. Right from the start we were so impressed by the carers who helped him to settle very quickly. The care home, is light, bright and airy, and the newly decorated cafe is probably Dad's favourite room. He and the other residents enjoy this cafe on a regular basis when the best crockery is used for their morning tea and snacks. The nature of Dad's illness means that he has needed to be referred to various medical teams recently which has been organised brilliantly by the lead carers there, and any of our suggestions or comments about Dad's care is listened to and acted on the same day, which is really impressive. The team are really lovely, professional and caring and we feel happy that he is safe and well looked after. We can't thank the carers enough.
Thank you for your fantastic review of Ridgewood Court. The team are passionate about creating wonderful spaces for the residents and their loved ones to spend time together, so it's wonderful to know he enjoys the newly decorated cafe.
It will never be forgotten.
Thank you one and all.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words about the team at Ridgewood Court, especially written at such a difficult time. We are sorry for your loss and the team is so proud to have been able to care for your Mum during her time with us.
My father was a resident for six weeks at this home, and was cared on a 1:1 basis by a dedicated team of staff. The staff were responsive to all his needs, treating him as 'one of their own' providing both love and support on a 24-hour basis. I would strongly recommend their care and support throughout this experience and their care and support to family members.
Thank you for your five star review for Ridgewood Court, the team will be touched to read such kind words about the care they provided to your father.

Aimie joined the team at the very beginning as a team leader and has worked her way up to Deputy Manager. Aimie brings happiness and joy to the residents' lives and has always got a smile on her face.
“I am a people person and like to make a difference and enrich the lives of our residents and staff," she says.

Anna loves Ridgewood Court, as does her gorgeous Border Collie Eddie, who comes to work with her every Thursday, much to the joy of the residents who adore spending time with him.
Being in reception is the main focal point of the home, therefore I see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. Residents and their families are a big part of why I still enjoy doing what I do.
I love being able to help everyone, from my fellow colleagues in-house, to being able to help colleagues within Sanctuary Care via the phone or email.

I like helping the residents and making sure their rooms are clean and tidy and that the care home feels homely.

I love the home’s atmosphere, the residents, the staff and the general ambience of the building.

I love that every day is different.
