I have been at The Chase for over 2 weeks on arrival I was feeling awful having broken my neck, but not feel so much better due to the excellent service, unbelievable in every aspect staff, food, even entertained my family in the special private dining room, delicious lunch, wine, excellent service all free!! I cannot fault here. Activitys for everyone are organised by the very thoughtful staff, from flower arranging so there are flowers always everywhere. I shall truly miss here. Especially my help in the shower and everything else.
It means the world to us that you appreciated the care and support from our team,...

The care our dad receives is absolutely fantastic. He is so well looked after, and it's clear that the staff take real pride in what they do. They go above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable, supported, and treated with dignity at all times. Knowing he is in such safe and caring hands means everything to us. When he's there, we can truly relax, knowing he is being so well cared for, which is something you can't put a price on. Thank you to everyone at The Chase for the incredible care, kindness, and effort you show day in and day out. We are so grateful for everything you do.
We are so pleased that your dad's second stay with us has been just as positive as his first. Making both our residents and their families feel welcome, supported, and...
It has such a homely atmosphere and every member of staff we have interacted with are absolutely professional, kind and supportive.
It has been 3 weeks since my mother in law moved in and she has clearly felt very comfortable and settled. The food is delicious and they have really thought about the way the choices are given to the dementia residents. Instead of a list of choices, the meals are plated for them to see what they want. How brilliant is that. The rooms are so lovely and all the clothes have their labelling tags put on at arrival. The staff really know their residents and want the best for them and it really shows.
It was a difficult decision to make for my mother in law, but seeing her joining the different activities, looking more relaxed, it's clear to see that the Chase invests in its staff which then shows in their high level of care.
We are delighted to hear that from your very first contact with The Chase you felt confident it was the right place for your mother-in-law. Creating a welcoming, homely environment and offering support from...
All of the staff are friendly and professional and all already appear to be well acquainted with my step-mother.
We are truly pleased to hear that your step-mother has settled so well and that the transition into The Chase has been a positive one for her, for you, and for her friends. Supporting residents through such an important change...
Mum moved to The Chase at the end of October 2025. All staff members made mum feel at home from the outset despite her anxieties. Since this time I have visited on a regular basis and have always found mum's room clean and tidy and mum well dressed and cared for. Mum is still settling in but I'm sure everyone will continue to support her. Food choices are good and there are daily activities which she joins in with.
We are so pleased to hear that our team helped your mum feel at home from the outset and supported her through her initial anxieties....
I am very happy to be a resident here. Without exceptions all the staff are kind and friendly which I think is most important, and they are also efficient. Activities are varied and there is always something to do. Food is very good - I have never gone hungry at mealtimes for there is plenty of choice. Wherever I go in the building there is always a friendly person to talk to. I have experienced life in one other home - only briefly - and I know how lucky we are here!
We are delighted to hear how happy you are here and to know that the care, friendliness, activities, and meals have made such a positive difference to your daily life....
My mother went to The Chase for recovery after surgery, agreeing to try it for a short period only. It turns out she loves living there so has decided to stay. All the staff have been kind and friendly as well as being professional and competent. I am delighted Mum is so well looked after in all aspects.

I had dinner with my Dad today, we ate in the bistro off the extensive menu, the food never disappoints along with the excellent front of house on this occasion Chris. We both had the Brie to start then I had Caesar salad and dad had one of his favourite meals ham egg and chips, we finished with strawberries and ice cream
Thank you for sharing your kind feedback. Were delighted to hear you and your dad enjoyed your meal and appreciated both the food and service. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
From the moment we first stepped inside 'The Chase', we knew it was the right place for Dads respite stay. The home is modern spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I loved every piece of furnishing. Dad's room was large, spacious, the ensuite was well equipped to cover all his needs. What really stood out was the staff, every singe member of the team were friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy in their work. That positively created such a welcoming atmosphere. It was clear that dad felt very comfortable and well looked after. The food was excellent, lovely bonus was family and friends could eat when visiting. He was very proud giving his visitors a guided tour!. I will absolutely recommended The chase! Thank you everyone for making dads stay such a lovely experience. He'll definitely be back for future respite care.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. Were delighted to hear that your dad felt comfortable and well cared for during his stay at The Chase. Our team takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming your dad back in the future.
I came into The Chase following a spell in hospital and could not cope on my own. I do not have dementia so just needed looking after while I rested and recovered. This means I do not need the specialist care offered to majority of patients. For me I would have liked more activities as there is a lot of 'dead' time between meals. Definitely need more things to do! Why no cinema? i have to accept the home is not the right place to be! I think it serves dementia residents very well from what I've seen.
Thank you for your honest feedback and for sharing your experience at The Chase. We are pleased you were able to rest and recover during your stay. Our activity programme is designed for both dementia and residential clients and is enjoyed by many residents. We appreciate your comment about having...
My mum is currently staying at The Chase for temporary respite care, and I can honestly say that the staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble - they go above and beyond to help with anything you need. The care is truly first-class.
Following an unexpected trip to A&E before her admission, we were naturally worried, but the staff were second to none. Their compassion and professionalism were outstanding - not just in the way they cared for my mum, but in how they supported us as a family too.
I can't thank them enough for the exceptional level of care and kindness. I would 100% recommend The Chase to anyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Were delighted your mum has felt so well cared for and that our teams support has brought comfort to your family. Your feedback means a lot to us all.
When visiting my dad, I am always offered lunch as I Make a two hour journey to see him and have an occasion stayed for lunch which has always been exceptional. The care That my father has been given.is excellent ..
Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of our precious Dad.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear your father is doing well and that you've had positive experiences during your visits. Your appreciation means a lot to our team and it's our privilege to care for him.
In the final hours I was even given access to a room next-door to dad, so I could be with him. No words can express how grateful I am.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an honour to care for your dad, and we're truly touched that you felt supported and welcomed throughout his time with us. We're glad we could make Easter special for your family and provide you with the space to be close to your dad in his final hours. Your gratitude means the world to our team.
