My mother spent the last 3 weeks of her life in the lovely clean, warm, comfortable safe and caring environment that has been created at this relatively new nursing home. During this period I and other family members visited 2/3 times each day and we were amazed by the extremely high standard of dedication exhibited by every individual staff member assigned to my mothers care.
During the last 10 days of my mother's life she succumbed to yet another stomach infection which required her bed and clothing to be changed 4 times in one night and when I arrived in mid-morning the following day my mothers first words to me were " Do you know these girls have been amazing to me "

I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever in recommending this nursing home to anyone.

Very high standard of care in both practical and pastoral terms of emotional empathy.
In addition to caring for my mother's physical and nursing needs, staff have spent time encouraging exercise following a stroke.

The premises are beautiful, the chef is brilliant and there are all sorts of activities laid on.

My husband, who has been on the Dementia Unit for the past six months has received extremely compassionate and dignified care at all times. He is stimulated by the "OOMPH" activity programme which is carried out daily. Whenever he has needed medical attention, it has been dealt with promptly. I am fully confident that all of his needs will be met with in the future.

Having had previous bad experiences with care homes my sister and I were very reluctant to admit that my Mum needed to go into a home. However, for worried relatives who only want the best for their loved one you need not worry about the Hamptons. From the minute we walked in, to the last day of my Mum's life the home was welcoming professional and caring. They allowed us to spend some very special daughter not carer time with my Mum to which we will be forever grateful. We only wished we had longer.

The care home is the best I have ever seen, starting with the management and all the staff. The care and nursing care was excellent in every way, the home is spotlessly clean and the attention to detail first class.
The food is five star quality and the cakes the best I have ever tasted, all the meals are five star standard.

A first class care home.

My father went into the care home very down and depressed and after a few weeks came out very well in himself.

The staff looked after him very well. His family was very pleased with the way the staff looked after him.

I feel very lucky to have found the Hamptons. We did not expect our mother to need care at such a young age and found the idea daunting with the typical image of a care home in my mind. The home itself is beautifully furnished and is bright with lots of natural light. The attention to detail from the wallpaper, to the light fittings and the points of interest dotted around, a lot of thought has gone into this place. The same applies for the team at the Hamptons. You really do feel as though they are a very carefully selected family and have gone above and beyond to provide our mother with everything she needs. If you are fearful of handing over the care of a loved one, I can't think of anywhere better than here. The manager is very proactive and has provided us with the much-needed support we needed at the time and you can tell she really does care. On the whole, I can't praise them enough! Great place, great staff, great food! I really feel they go above and beyond to please!

The Hamptons is a beautiful care home - for my mum to move here was a difficult time for her and our family however from day one we all felt optimistic and warmed by the surroundings and importantly the excellent staff.
From the decor to the food, all is 5 star - the common comments you hear are 'oh its like a 5 star hotel!' and it really is.
I'd say that the likes of The Hamptons are revolutionising the image that 'going into care' conjures up.
The manager is excellent, takes no messing but has a certain warmth that I see my mum taking very well to and in turn helps her feel in good hands.

I'd personally recommend The Hamptons and I don't think anyone moving there would regret the decision.

The level of care received by my late mother at The Hamptons was excellent. From moving into the home from hospital to the time of her death she was made to feel safe, comfortable and cared for. The attention of the staff and her surroundings enabled her to relax at a difficult time and eased her suffering. Facilities were also excellent and I found it extremely helpful to have constant support from all levels of staff given I live some distance from the home. The end of life care was compassionate and focused on the individual. I would recommend the Hamptons to anyone considering a nursing home placement. My thanks to all there.

My mother became a resident here in February. She has late stage dementia. It puts our minds at rest to know she is in such good hands. The staff are very professional and caring and don't just leave the residents to sleep all day.

Facilities are like a luxury hotel. I would recommend to anyone looking for a suitable care home for dementia suffering relatives.

The Hamptons offers exceptional care for my sister. The nursing staff and carers are incredibly dedicated to their work and I can not fault them. My sister is very happy here and feels very loved. The surroundings are as good as any 5-star hotel, if not better. The chef creates the most delicious meals like a top restaurant would. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone who works here. It's the most wonderful place. I didn't think it was possible to find a place like this.

My initial impression of The Hamptons was of a 4 or 5-star hotel. That impression of the the property has not altered. It is a really comfortable, clean and well-designed facility for its purpose. Most importantly to me, however, is that the personnel at all levels and functions have the care of the residents entirely as their preeminent concern and purpose. They are unfailingly attentive, kind, supportive and considerate. They are professionals in the best senses of the word.

My 92-year-old mum is currently living at The Hamptons and I can highly recommend it. All the staff are so friendly, caring and kind and all her needs are being met. The nursing staff are a dedicated team giving first-class care, 24hours a day. The food is excellent and mum enjoys the varied menu. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, mum loves to relax in her bedroom every afternoon with the television and wonderful view of the garden. (Tea and cake is served in her room)

I know that she is well cared for and very happy in her new home with its wonderful manager and staff.

After spending time in several different care homes, my very dear friend was becoming more and more despondent and withdrawn. However, after only two weeks in The Hamptons, the change in her was just amazing and she was the happy lady that she had been previously. The reason, with no doubt whatsoever, is the wonderful, happy and friendly care of everyone there, who are just one big happy family. Fantastic.

New home start-up in an area of limited provision for dementia - a very welcome entrant. The physical plant is of a very high specification. More like a 5-star hotel. First contact, induction and entry were all handled with enormous sensitivity and care. The difficult choice to commit a loved one to the care of the home was hugely helped by the senior people involved. One month in and things are going very well. The activities dimension has been first-class and quickly allayed any fear that residents would be sat in a circle watching television most of the time. The social and activities dimension has helped my wife get some real value-added over and above what I alone could provide. This significantly lowered my guilt quotient. Yes, there have been some minor start-up hiccups but none that should at this stage blight the overall impression of an excellent addition to the care platform for the Fylde Coast.
