My Dad spent the last 4 weeks of his life at The Hamptons and we couldn't have wished for better care. From the moment he first arrived, until the very end, he was looked after by an absolutely amazing team of people. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to keep
him comfortable in his final weeks. The staff did a brilliant job of keeping his family informed and were so supportive in what was a really difficult and emotional time for us all. I would recommend them to anybody looking for end of life care and can't thank them enough for everything they did.

My mother moved into The Hamptons in January 2020 after a stroke. We found the staff extremely helpful and professional with us. The care extended to mum was exemplary, with nothing too much bother. The rooms and common areas were well furnished and spotless, and mum said the food was good (an unusual
compliment from her!!). The overall setting of the Home is fresh with lovely open spaces and daily activity for the guests. Mum's health deteriorated and sadly passed away in November. I cannot fault the personal care given to her during this difficult period. The staff had become her extended family, making time to talk and be with her. The nursing staff maintained active contact with us during this latter period. It may not be the most affordable of care homes, but the high standard of care and clean service provided makes it value for money. I knew mum was being well looked after.

Excellent care, friendly, clean and safe!
Dad is a very fussy eater but loves the food.
Staff are outstanding.
Difficult now because of Covid but more trips out would be something to improve upon.

My mother resided at The Hamptons for nearly three years. The staff were attentive and genuinely caring. Furthermore, as her physical condition deteriorated staff proactively sought to ensure that mum had the best equipment (specialised wheelchair) to match her needs.
If we did raise concerns (such
as the operation of hearing aids) then those concerns were listened to and acted upon.
We were given access to mum in her last two weeks when we were given separate access to a ground floor room - to enable us to comply with the strict Covid regulations. We will forever appreciate this chance to say our goodbyes - thank you.

Whilst enabling the move of a loved one into a care home is rarely an easy thing to come to terms with, the professionalism of the management and staff at the Hamptons made the process much easier than envisaged both for our mum and her family. During her 10 months at the Hamptons, she received a very
high level of care and this continued to be the case during the "covid lockdown" period when regular social media calls were made.
When Mum's health deteriorated, we were kept informed and the families' wishes were always taken into account. During Mum's final days, the management and staff went out of their way to ensure that her dignity was respected at all times and that she was kept comfortable. In summary: The facilities and maintenance thereof at the Hamptons is top notch but it is the level of care afforded to their residents that matters and we found it to be of a very high standard - not withstanding the very challenging circumstances thrust upon the care sector in March this year.

My parents have been residing in the home now for 12 months and my siblings and I are very happy with how they have been cared for in that time. Of course, their happiness depends so much on personalities - key carers and management which I believe is of a very high level who deliver a considered and
professional service. There is a genuine respect and friendliness from all the staff both towards my parents and the rest of the family who visit often.
We were touched recently by the commitment to ensure my parents, despite lockdown, celebrated their wedding anniversary in style. It is these touches that make a huge difference and in some homes, not every carer feels they have the time and some, not the inclination to think beyond their basic duties but in this case, the attention was exemplary.
We have been so grateful of late for the attention to detail in keeping the home safe from Covid-19 with efficient systems in place.

The Hamptons Care Centre is exceptional. During the global pandemic, they have gone to exceptional lengths to keep the residents and staff safe. We have been impressed with the real thought and extra lengths the team has gone to. Furthermore, recognising the need for entertainment whilst families cant
go and most of their entertainment bookings cant enter the home. They have delivered a brilliant programme to keep the residents entertained and happy. Just brilliant!

The Hamptons provides a warm, caring environment where residents are treated with great dignity and respect; they feel like one of the family. All rooms, bedrooms and shared facilities are modern, light, airy and spacious so there is always the possibility of finding a quiet, secluded place to sit.
Staff are professional yet friendly and always welcoming. Communication, keeping relatives informed, is good. Most importantly, my father is happy and calls it home.

It was great trepidation that we decided to look into a care home for my mother. We had been advised that she required 24-hour nursing care.
From our first phone call, the friendly, efficient staff put our minds at ease. Everything was explained in detail. All our silly questions were answered
patiently. The day Mum arrived the staff treated her with respect, kindness and expertise. It was obvious that this was their normal.
We were encouraged to visit or phone whenever it was convenient. Nothing was to much trouble and they always had time to put my mind at rest. They even phoned us to ask about a special menu as Mum's appetite decreased.
Unfortunately Mum took a turn for the worst which was not unexpected and had to be readmitted into hospital. The Hamptons did everything and more to make her last couple of months happy, pain-free and content. I cannot thank them enough.

Over the years, my mum has stayed in other local care homes, so I do comment from experience, and to say that The Hamptons towers above other care homes in the area is an understatement. The home is expertly and compassionately run by people who genuinely care about their residents' welfare. and the
managers go way above what, in my experience, other managements provide. Without doubt, The Hamptons has taken residential caring to a new level.

After viewing several care homes in Jan 2019, I went to The Hamptons Care Centre, wow! It was like stepping into a hotel by comparison to the other establishments. During my wife's stay of one year, she was treated superbly by all the excellent staff, from the manager all the way through to hospitality/domestic
teams. The standard of care and nursing was of the highest available. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I recommend this facility? I certainly would.

My wife was in for end of life care for 5 days. The whole experience was exemplary for my wife, family and visitors. I felt as if I was in first-class hotel accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble. The only time we had cause for concern was when an agency nurse was on night duty for the first time
and my wife did not get her meds until 23.30 hours. My son and I felt we could not go home until my wife was settled.

Mom became a resident 8 months ago. As her health deteriorated and it became apparent she required palliative care, the staff at The Hamptons could not have done more.
They preempted each stage of her physical demise and the strong links with the local medical centre/hospice, ensured everything she
needed was already in place.
The team at the Hamptons showed kindness, support, respect and involved Mom and us her family, in decision making regarding her care. Care of the elderly and end of life care in the UK is sometimes lacking. The Hamptons Care Centre has demonstrated just how well this can be done.

It is almost a year since dad moved into The Hamptons on the insistence of a hospital that he had moderate to severe dementia. From a visit to look around with dad through the year, the manager and staff have worked to help him in every way. On that first visit, the Manager told us she did not think
he had more than age-related mental impairment and so it has proved. All of the staff go out of their way to help and encourage their residents. They have worked with me to baseline his condition and get the inputs to gradually improve it. Even through a period of many new residents and staff turnover the care has been very good.
Having always said he would not go into a care home, dad has said "The Hamptons is my home and I am happy here" almost from day one. As I live a considerable distance away that is a relief, as is knowing I can ring the staff when he isn't so well and know they will take the time to explain how he is and what is being done.

My brother received excellent outstanding end of life care whilst at The Hamptons Care Centre. His room and all facilities are equivalent to 'The Ritz' Hotel. All staff smiled, acknowledged visitors, and their personal care restored his dignity and pride. On his final day, the staff were so compassionate
and caring and all showed respect whilst he left the home.

I am writing this review when my mother has been under the care of The Hamptons for over ten months. Throughout that period, she has had nothing short of first-class care. All the staff we have met are hardworking, caring and passionate, in the face of a very disabled elderly lady. I do not think I
have ever seen a workforce that works together as such a close-knit and structured team, from the Care Manager down. They all give time to help the residents and are very focused on building relationships with family and friends whenever you visit. Any issue raised is considered and solutions designed to improve the wellbeing of residents. This level of professional practice goes across all areas of the home; hotel services such as the kitchen, laundry and all other areas of housekeeping work to enable residents to live in a spotless environment, have excellent meals and all this is delivered with the same friendliness. It is a very special place.

I was admitted to The Hampton Care Centre from hospital following a life-changing diagnosis. From walking in the front door until now, I have been treated with kindness, thoughtfulness and courtesy at all times.
The ambience of The Hamptons makes it a pleasure to be here. There are beautifully kept
lounges with cinema room, and landscaped gardens where you can walk or sit outside with friends and family. The whole building is kept spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standard by the housekeeping team.
The food is delicious, a very creative and varied menu, the chef is so helpful and will accommodate all dietary needs.
The manager of The Hamptons is very proactive and a wonderful role model for the team she has created. It is a pleasure just to walk down the corridors and be welcomed by her staff. All nursing and support staff make a wonderful team, who have gone above and beyond to provide me with the care, support and peace of mind that is so important in times of need.

I qualified as a nurse in 1991, and have worked in a variety of settings including A&E, orthopaedics and specialist nursing before moving into nursing and care homes in 1994. I have experience in Home Management and Regional support and care passionately about ensuring that my teams and I provide high quality, person centred support to all the residents and their families within our communities.


Working within the New Care Homes family, I have received an incredibly warm welcome and have been impressed not just with the 5 star environments but also with the values and beliefs that are encompassed throughout the whole service. This enables the team to empower those that live with us to live their best lives knowing that they have the support and structure to reach their goals.
