My mother stayed here for 2 weeks after leaving hospital. The care centre is split into 3 divisions, nursing, dementia and residential. The Hamptons is magnificent and clients can use all divisions. From the cinema to the jacuzzi bath with mood-lighting, no expense has been spared. The staff are carefully
selected and show empathy and dignity to all residents. Excellent management and front of house staff. First-class.
I can't praise The Hamptons enough.

My mother had dementia since 2013 and became very poorly in February 2019. After 4 weeks in the hospital, it was decided by the discharge team to recommend that Mum went into a facility for palliative care. On admission to Hamptons, Mum received the best possible care for the entire team. As a family,
we were treated with such enormous respect and any concerns were immediately dealt with. Losing a parent is an awfully sad experience! Understanding and the love provided by The Hamptons team was extremely comforting. Thank you to the Manager and staff for all your help!

Their approach to care and the love and dignity they show to the residents has been a great comfort to our family.

The chef has been absolutely fantastic. My father is near and of life and we as a family have been able to stay overnight with him. The chef has constantly ensured the family have been week fed and looked after and we feel had gone beyond any expectations. All staff at the home have been wonderful and
made this difficult time a lot more bearable.

In the past eleven days, my father has been at end of life and the care and compassion shown by the staff has been a huge comfort to the family. At a time when you don't want to eat or can't motivate yourself to look for food, the chef has offered all family members who have kept a bedside vigil an
array of mouthwatering delights which have kept energy levels high. The chef's willingness to help and muster gorgeous tasting food at a moment's notice is an absolute credit to him. Chef, your efforts are appreciated more than words can say. A very special thank you from one very appreciative person.

Never anything other than high standards at The Hamptons. Not just beautiful décor, but the staff are all very kind and caring.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly reception staff, this follows all the way through and is genuine.
It isn't one size fits all like most care facilities.
The staff treat everyone as an individual, remembering personal things about residents.
The food is delicious and again if not to individual taste, the staff are happy to provide foods requested.
My relative is not easily pleased when it comes to food, quality and entertainment, he loves The Hamptons.

The care at The Hamptons was exceptional. All staff members (including support staff) were at all times polite and caring. The environment was very clean, extremely well designed and functional. Rooms are of more than adequate size.

First impressions is very impressive. It looks and feels more like a 5* hotel rather than a nursing home. You’re always greeted by the smell of fresh coffee and fresh cakes and pastries available for visitors. However, for a nursing home, the most important part is the care you receive. The rooms are
like a beautiful hotel room, spotless with fresh towels. The catering staff provide 3 course meals each day, for a small charge for visitors. The Hamptons work closely with the palliative care team to ensure that the care plan is working, this is reviewed daily, great they work so well together. My dad was there with her, when she passed away as they had given him a room next door. I can honestly say the Hamptons provide a similar standard of care as the hospice do and this is no mean feat! My family and I will be forever grateful and thankful that she passed away in such a beautiful place, pain free, comfortable and at peace.

My mother spent the last 3 weeks of her life in the lovely clean, warm, comfortable safe and caring environment that has been created at this relatively new nursing home. During this period I and other family members visited 2/3 times each day and we were amazed by the extremely high standard of dedication
exhibited by every individual staff member assigned to my mothers care.
During the last 10 days of my mother's life she succumbed to yet another stomach infection which required her bed and clothing to be changed 4 times in one night and when I arrived in mid-morning the following day my mothers first words to me were " Do you know these girls have been amazing to me "
I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever in recommending this nursing home to anyone.

Very high standard of care in both practical and pastoral terms of emotional empathy.
In addition to caring for my mother's physical and nursing needs, staff have spent time encouraging exercise following a stroke.
The premises are beautiful, the chef is brilliant and there are all sorts of activities
laid on.

My husband, who has been on the Dementia Unit for the past six months has received extremely compassionate and dignified care at all times. He is stimulated by the "OOMPH" activity programme which is carried out daily. Whenever he has needed medical attention, it has been dealt with promptly. I am fully

Having had previous bad experiences with care homes my sister and I were very reluctant to admit that my Mum needed to go into a home. However, for worried relatives who only want the best for their loved one you need not worry about the Hamptons. From the minute we walked in, to the last day of my
Mum's life the home was welcoming professional and caring. They allowed us to spend some very special daughter not carer time with my Mum to which we will be forever grateful. We only wished we had longer.

The care home is the best I have ever seen, starting with the management and all the staff. The care and nursing care was excellent in every way, the home is spotlessly clean and the attention to detail first class.
The food is five star quality and the cakes the best I have ever tasted, all the meals
are five star standard.

My father went into the care home very down and depressed and after a few weeks came out very well in himself.


The staff looked after him very well. His family was very pleased with the way the staff looked after him.

I feel very lucky to have found the Hamptons. We did not expect our mother to need care at such a young age and found the idea daunting with the typical image of a care home in my mind. The home itself is beautifully furnished and is bright with lots of natural light. The attention to detail from the
wallpaper, to the light fittings and the points of interest dotted around, a lot of thought has gone into this place. The same applies for the team at the Hamptons. You really do feel as though they are a very carefully selected family and have gone above and beyond to provide our mother with everything she needs. If you are fearful of handing over the care of a loved one, I can't think of anywhere better than here. The manager is very proactive and has provided us with the much-needed support we needed at the time and you can tell she really does care. On the whole, I can't praise them enough! Great place, great staff, great food! I really feel they go above and beyond to please!

The Hamptons is a beautiful care home - for my mum to move here was a difficult time for her and our family however from day one we all felt optimistic and warmed by the surroundings and importantly the excellent staff.
From the decor to the food, all is 5 star - the common comments you hear are 'oh
its like a 5 star hotel!' and it really is.
I'd say that the likes of The Hamptons are revolutionising the image that 'going into care' conjures up.
The manager is excellent, takes no messing but has a certain warmth that I see my mum taking very well to and in turn helps her feel in good hands.
I'd personally recommend The Hamptons and I don't think anyone moving there would regret the decision.

Sara Allton

I qualified as a nurse in 1991, and have worked in a variety of settings including A&E, orthopaedics and specialist nursing before moving into nursing and care homes in 1994. I have experience in Home Management and Regional support and care passionately about ensuring that my teams and I provide high quality, person centred support to all the residents and their families within our communities.


Working within the New Care Homes family, I have received an incredibly warm welcome and have been impressed not just with the 5 star environments but also with the values and beliefs that are encompassed throughout the whole service. This enables the team to empower those that live with us to live their best lives knowing that they have the support and structure to reach their goals.
