The Hamptons provides a warm, caring environment where residents are treated with great dignity and respect; they feel like one of the family. All rooms, bedrooms and shared facilities are modern, light, airy and spacious so there is always the possibility of finding a quiet, secluded place to sit. Staff are professional yet friendly and always welcoming. Communication, keeping relatives informed, is good. Most importantly, my father is happy and calls it home.

It was great trepidation that we decided to look into a care home for my mother. We had been advised that she required 24-hour nursing care.
From our first phone call, the friendly, efficient staff put our minds at ease. Everything was explained in detail. All our silly questions were answered patiently. The day Mum arrived the staff treated her with respect, kindness and expertise. It was obvious that this was their normal.
We were encouraged to visit or phone whenever it was convenient. Nothing was to much trouble and they always had time to put my mind at rest. They even phoned us to ask about a special menu as Mum's appetite decreased.

Unfortunately Mum took a turn for the worst which was not unexpected and had to be readmitted into hospital. The Hamptons did everything and more to make her last couple of months happy, pain-free and content. I cannot thank them enough.

Over the years, my mum has stayed in other local care homes, so I do comment from experience, and to say that The Hamptons towers above other care homes in the area is an understatement. The home is expertly and compassionately run by people who genuinely care about their residents' welfare. and the managers go way above what, in my experience, other managements provide. Without doubt, The Hamptons has taken residential caring to a new level.

After viewing several care homes in Jan 2019, I went to The Hamptons Care Centre, wow! It was like stepping into a hotel by comparison to the other establishments. During my wife's stay of one year, she was treated superbly by all the excellent staff, from the manager all the way through to hospitality/domestic teams. The standard of care and nursing was of the highest available. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I recommend this facility? I certainly would.

My wife was in for end of life care for 5 days. The whole experience was exemplary for my wife, family and visitors. I felt as if I was in first-class hotel accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble. The only time we had cause for concern was when an agency nurse was on night duty for the first time and my wife did not get her meds until 23.30 hours. My son and I felt we could not go home until my wife was settled.

Mom became a resident 8 months ago. As her health deteriorated and it became apparent she required palliative care, the staff at The Hamptons could not have done more.
They preempted each stage of her physical demise and the strong links with the local medical centre/hospice, ensured everything she needed was already in place.
The team at the Hamptons showed kindness, support, respect and involved Mom and us her family, in decision making regarding her care. Care of the elderly and end of life care in the UK is sometimes lacking. The Hamptons Care Centre has demonstrated just how well this can be done.

Thank you.

It is almost a year since dad moved into The Hamptons on the insistence of a hospital that he had moderate to severe dementia. From a visit to look around with dad through the year, the manager and staff have worked to help him in every way. On that first visit, the Manager told us she did not think he had more than age-related mental impairment and so it has proved. All of the staff go out of their way to help and encourage their residents. They have worked with me to baseline his condition and get the inputs to gradually improve it. Even through a period of many new residents and staff turnover the care has been very good.

Having always said he would not go into a care home, dad has said "The Hamptons is my home and I am happy here" almost from day one. As I live a considerable distance away that is a relief, as is knowing I can ring the staff when he isn't so well and know they will take the time to explain how he is and what is being done.

My brother received excellent outstanding end of life care whilst at The Hamptons Care Centre. His room and all facilities are equivalent to 'The Ritz' Hotel. All staff smiled, acknowledged visitors, and their personal care restored his dignity and pride. On his final day, the staff were so compassionate and caring and all showed respect whilst he left the home.

I am writing this review when my mother has been under the care of The Hamptons for over ten months. Throughout that period, she has had nothing short of first-class care. All the staff we have met are hardworking, caring and passionate, in the face of a very disabled elderly lady. I do not think I have ever seen a workforce that works together as such a close-knit and structured team, from the Care Manager down. They all give time to help the residents and are very focused on building relationships with family and friends whenever you visit. Any issue raised is considered and solutions designed to improve the wellbeing of residents. This level of professional practice goes across all areas of the home; hotel services such as the kitchen, laundry and all other areas of housekeeping work to enable residents to live in a spotless environment, have excellent meals and all this is delivered with the same friendliness. It is a very special place.

I was admitted to The Hampton Care Centre from hospital following a life-changing diagnosis. From walking in the front door until now, I have been treated with kindness, thoughtfulness and courtesy at all times.
The ambience of The Hamptons makes it a pleasure to be here. There are beautifully kept lounges with cinema room, and landscaped gardens where you can walk or sit outside with friends and family. The whole building is kept spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standard by the housekeeping team.
The food is delicious, a very creative and varied menu, the chef is so helpful and will accommodate all dietary needs.

The manager of The Hamptons is very proactive and a wonderful role model for the team she has created. It is a pleasure just to walk down the corridors and be welcomed by her staff. All nursing and support staff make a wonderful team, who have gone above and beyond to provide me with the care, support and peace of mind that is so important in times of need.

My mother stayed here for 2 weeks after leaving hospital. The care centre is split into 3 divisions, nursing, dementia and residential. The Hamptons is magnificent and clients can use all divisions. From the cinema to the jacuzzi bath with mood-lighting, no expense has been spared. The staff are carefully selected and show empathy and dignity to all residents. Excellent management and front of house staff. First-class.

I can't praise The Hamptons enough.

My mother had dementia since 2013 and became very poorly in February 2019. After 4 weeks in the hospital, it was decided by the discharge team to recommend that Mum went into a facility for palliative care. On admission to Hamptons, Mum received the best possible care for the entire team. As a family, we were treated with such enormous respect and any concerns were immediately dealt with. Losing a parent is an awfully sad experience! Understanding and the love provided by The Hamptons team was extremely comforting. Thank you to the Manager and staff for all your help!

I can not praise the staff of The Hamptons highly enough.
Their approach to care and the love and dignity they show to the residents has been a great comfort to our family.

The chef has been absolutely fantastic. My father is near and of life and we as a family have been able to stay overnight with him. The chef has constantly ensured the family have been week fed and looked after and we feel had gone beyond any expectations. All staff at the home have been wonderful and made this difficult time a lot more bearable.

In the past eleven days, my father has been at end of life and the care and compassion shown by the staff has been a huge comfort to the family. At a time when you don't want to eat or can't motivate yourself to look for food, the chef has offered all family members who have kept a bedside vigil an array of mouthwatering delights which have kept energy levels high. The chef's willingness to help and muster gorgeous tasting food at a moment's notice is an absolute credit to him. Chef, your efforts are appreciated more than words can say. A very special thank you from one very appreciative person.

Never anything other than high standards at The Hamptons. Not just beautiful décor, but the staff are all very kind and caring.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly reception staff, this follows all the way through and is genuine.
It isn't one size fits all like most care facilities. The staff treat everyone as an individual, remembering personal things about residents.
The food is delicious and again if not to individual taste, the staff are happy to provide foods requested.

My relative is not easily pleased when it comes to food, quality and entertainment, he loves The Hamptons.

First impressions is very impressive. It looks and feels more like a 5* hotel rather than a nursing home. You’re always greeted by the smell of fresh coffee and fresh cakes and pastries available for visitors. However, for a nursing home, the most important part is the care you receive. The rooms are like a beautiful hotel room, spotless with fresh towels. The catering staff provide 3 course meals each day, for a small charge for visitors. The Hamptons work closely with the palliative care team to ensure that the care plan is working, this is reviewed daily, great they work so well together. My dad was there with her, when she passed away as they had given him a room next door. I can honestly say the Hamptons provide a similar standard of care as the hospice do and this is no mean feat! My family and I will be forever grateful and thankful that she passed away in such a beautiful place, pain free, comfortable and at peace.
