Thank you very much for your kind review! We are very happy to hear that you find our staff friendly and welcoming and that your friend is "flourishing" at Valerian Court Care Home. You, and they, will be glad to hear that we have recently recruited a new Head Chef, and our new Activities Lead will be starting soon. Hopefully, your next review will be able to give 5 stars for those areas too!
Thank you very much for your review. We are so pleased that you felt able to give us lots of 5s! Providing great care is at the heart of what we do. A number of our residents love watching the trains. Including the British Pullman part of the Orient Express group! Thank you again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review - and we are so glad that we scored many 5s! We have now recruited an activity lead. And can't wait for her to start! I know with her broad experience - the home is going to be even more lively! We also have a new head chef - who is already having a very positive impact.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. And we are so glad that we achieved a lot of 5*s! I note 4*s for Food & Drink. We now have a very experienced Head Chef in place - so I hope that the next time your mum stays with us - 5*'s for that too! We look forward to seeing you all again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and thank you so much for 5 stars in a number of categories - it is very much appreciated. Regarding cleanliness - I can't see anything in your narrative so I am unsure as to what you are referring to but it is always a priority for us not least for infection control reasons. Whilst we are recruiting a head chef we are putting agency chefs in place to support our residents having a very enjoyable dining experience. Also whilst we recruit an Activities Lead - we are in the process of having a number of activities assistants and staff in post to enhance our activity and lifestyle program. I apologise that your experience with a couple of our processes wasn't as we expected them to be. Once again thank you very much for your feedback.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. And I am very pleased to see that 9/12 categories received 5 stars! Thank you so much. Regarding our current food offering - we are actively recruiting for a head chef. In the meantime we have put experienced agency chefs in the post to ensure our residents are satisfied with the food and meal experience. We are also actively recruiting for an activities lead. In the meantime we now have a number of activities assistants coming into post and other staff supporting activities. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. And if you would like to meet with me to discuss anything further please do ask.

We are truly grateful for your heartfelt review. Your grandad has not only been a refreshing personality at the home, but a true gentleman who has made caring and supporting him a real pleasure. The home, the other residents and our visitors have enjoyed his warm hospitality and we are so glad Valerian Court Care has truly become his home. We have all enjoyed his activities and spent an extensive amount of time exploring his fond memories of his flight routes as an ex-RAF officer. We thank him for his service and we thank you for your custom.

We are very happy to hear that your grandad has settled in well, and that the activities we offer are having a positive effect on his physical and mental health and wellbeing. We are very proud of our beautiful home and "hi-tech" gadgets, but having kind and caring staff is of the utmost importance, and so it is great to hear that you have seen this first hand. Thank you once again and we hope to see you again soon.
