The care and understanding of the staff at a difficult time for us as a family as well as the excellent treatment of our father . The senior staff in also recognising the additional changes needed in his treatment that hasn't happened over the last couple of year's.
Thank you very much for your review. I will ensure to pass over your comments to the staff.
I've had the upmost assistance from the staff on my Wife's small health problem they have gone out of they way to get the problem sorted and I think they've been successful.. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL CONCERNED.,'

Great home and amazing staff. Mum is on cedar floor and the staff are fantastic. Especially her 1-2-1s who also work on the floor as core team when not working as 1-2-1. They are fantastic with her and treat her with much dignity and respect. As a family we would be lost without them.
Thank you very much for your very kind review. I will ensure to pass this along to the team.
Senior staff are extremely supportive and communication is excellent. From the minute family members walk in the door there is always a warm welcome and friendly manner.
I could not be happier with the service Wood Green provides and how happy and comfortable my mother is at Wood Green. I certainly would recommend Wood Green Residential Care Home to others.
My mother was frightened and always worried prior to being a resident in Wood Green, and since she became a resident she more than happy and refers to it has here home.
Thank you very much for your very kind review. I will ensure to pass this along to the team.
As a daughter of a resident I have found WoodGreen to be a safe and friendly environment for my parent. The staff in general are kind and supportive. Although there are numerous activities I am not able to attend as I work full time and I am unaware of my parents involvement. The home is spotless and a good variety of food is available to suit all tastes.
My mum has been a resident in Woodgreen since November 2022. I am really happy with the care and attention shown to mum. She is always very clean and tidy and enjoys the food. The Home is very well presented as are the staff. The attention shown to mum is really good and she enjoys all the activities performed daily. As a relative the staff are always very friendly and willing to take the time to have a chat and a laugh which means so much. Well done to you all.
Hello, thank you very much for your very kind review!! We are so pleased that you are happy with the care and treatment given to your mum. I will be sure to pass your review along to the staff.
Day staff and reception are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are flexible, thoughtful and kind. The home is tirelessly decorated to connect residents with seasonal events: at present Chinese New Year. I appreciate that life is busy for managers but feel that at times issues are dismissed as minor. Carers should be treated with respect when upset and should be offered support in a quiet room; not as recently happened to me in a corridor. Dementia is a very hard illness for families with which produces lots of fear. It is hard to see your loved one losing facilities. Otherwise this is a very good home where individuals are offered a caring environment when they can no longer manage in their own homes. I would recommend it to anyone needing help with dementia.
My mother has been a resident of Wood Green for just over 2 years. In that time all the staff have given excellent care to my mum. The home is spotlessly clean and well-kept. There are always plenty of activities for residents and the staff ensure that every major event and season is celebrated. I understand that it can be very challenging but staff members remain upbeat and happy.
Mum is in her first year as a resident of Wood Green. I can say no complaints about the staff and the level of care being given to Mum. All the staff have been excellent from the cleaners to the management and they are always assisting in any way they can. It is total peace of mind with the care Mum is receiving at Wood Green.
Wood Green has gone above and beyond our expectations of what a residential care home offers. My Mother-in-Law goes through times of being settled and happy to unsettled and wanting to go home and the staff have been just great with her. We can call to see how she is and you are always made to feel welcome as I enjoy being part of her weeks at Wood Green. I can assure you, your family member will have the best care and be happy at Wood Green.
Thank you very much for your very kind review. I will ensure to pass your review along to the staff. We are glad to hear that you feel that your mother-in-law is well cared for in Wood Green.
My mother moved into this care home in December 2024. It has been a great relief for us as a family to know she is getting fabulous 24-hour care. She has settled very well and staff have been great keeping me up to date with any changes in Mum's health etc. Very friendly welcoming staff who I have witnessed being incredibly patient and kind with residents. Thank you.
Thank you for your very kind review. The staff work hard to ensure that the residents are all well cared for and treated to their individual needs. I will be sure to pass your review along to the staff.
Our Mum is in her sixth year as a resident of Wood Green. As a family we can honestly say that in all of these years we have never had to complain or highlight any issues about Mum's care and wellbeing. All the staff have been excellent from the cleaners to the management and Mum is very happy there.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. I will be sure to pass your review on to the staff. We are so happy to hear you feel that Mum is very settled here in Wood Green.
My Mum is being provided with an excellent level of care and is thriving in the loving and safe environment at Wood Green. I cannot speak too highly of the staff who all appear to genuinely care for and enjoy their work.
Thank you very much for your very kind review, I will ensure that your review is passed along to the staff.
Wood Green is a very pleasant care home. It's a very modern place, also very clean. My mother is content there, most of the time, she still wants to go home but this is part of the dementia. The staff are great, I could not ask for nicer people to look after my mother. I am always made very welcome here when I visit my mother.
Thank you very much for your very kind review. I will be sure to pass along your thanks to the staff.
The staff at Wood Green are very friendly. My brother seems to be content here which is great. The garden out the back is a great addition for the residents, also the Dementia Cafe Forget Me Not where you can take your loved one and the proceeds help with the residents' comfort funds.
Thank you for your very kind review. The residents love the gardens here and they really enjoy getting out into the fresh air, and loved ones have that assurance that the gardens are secure. The Dementia Cafe has been a great success and I thank you for your support.
Concerns are usually dealt with quickly though on occasions these concerns need to be followed up. It took several weeks for a urine sample from my mother to be sent successfully to the laboratory. The problem, an administration change to lab forms, was eventually sorted and an explanation was given.
I have always found management to be very approachable and ready to deal with issues promptly.
Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate all feedback we receive as it helps us to do things better.
The good points are the staff are lovely, kind, respectful, helpful. The bad points are it's sometimes hard to get answers to questions, and things done.
Food is very poor in my opinion, often they give Mum things she doesn't like and don't seem to offer alternatives, it should be more patient led. Laundry very often goes missing or is very harsh on clothes. There don't seem to be many activities organised daily. The place is always spotless. Also, staff change often and don't wear name badges.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your mum's personal menu is unsuitable, please link in with me or the chef to review the menu your sister requested. In relation to activities, I acknowledge that we had a staffing deficit in the activities department back in February when you submitted...
On the whole, I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving. Staff are very pleasant. My husband is not too happy with some of his food, cold chips and watery soup.
Thank you very much for your review. Our new chef is currently reviewing our menu's at present and you should see some changes soon. I will ensure that the chef is made aware of your current concerns.
I have no complaints about the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. Recently I have seen that there is no apparent activities for the residents. But all said and done, my mother is well looked after.
Thank you for submitting your review. We have had a recent change to our activities team and I would hope that you see some improvements very soon.
After an awful month-long spell in hospital in April I thought mum wasn’t going to get back to Woodgreen due to hospital red tape and change in care needs. Only when I started looking at other homes (which were sub-par to say the least) did it make me truly appreciate how amazing Woodgreen is? Yes, the home is modern, clean, lovely setting etc. However, it’s the staff that make it 10/10. I really can’t fault any of them. Always friendly and relaxed and mum is well cared for.
Thank you very much for your review. I will be sure to pass on your review to the staff.
