Lovely staff who care for the residents with that personal touch! Such a lovely modern fresh place to go visit nanny! Staff are always checking in and treat my nanny like one of their own family. Definitely recommend.
Mum is very comfortable in her room which is perfect for her as it has an ensuite facility. The staff at every level are friendly and attentive and will often go ‘the extra mile’ when she makes unexpected requests. During the pandemic, every effort was made to keep all staff and residents as safe as possible and it is good that we can take a test each week, and if negative, can book a visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wood Green to anyone who needed to use such a facility. Mum also enjoys many of the entertainment days.
I would like to thank all the staff at Wood Green Care Home for the care and support they have shown my Nanny during these difficult circumstances. My family and I really appreciate everything you have done. Many thanks.
I would like to commend Wood Green care home for how they have conducted care, during the very difficult circumstances of the pandemic. Despite the many 'curve balls' of uncertainty and fear and it was extremely difficult with the restrictions to visiting, the staff have put their 'duty of care' to the residents above everything. I believe they have consistently delivered excellent care and gone above and beyond that call of duty, to keep everyone safe. On behalf of my family, I want to thank everyone from management, nursing teams, administration, catering, cleaners and the activities team for their amazing dedication and care.
Very good facilities and a caring and helpful staff. With Covid restrictions, we haven't been able to visit Mum but our requests for video calls are always met promptly. I think it would be better to have more detailed management communications on future plans and procedures for the care home, especially in these times when our own experiences and information regarding the home, are so limited.
My mother is a resident in Wood Green Care Home, a beautifully kept and well-maintained home where she receives an excellent standard of care. The staff are dedicated, understanding and compassionate, treating my mother with dignity and as an individual. Her likes and dislikes are well known among the staff and catered for. During this very stressful Covid19 year, when I was unable to visit my mother, I had the comfort of knowing that she was being well looked after. The staff kept me up to date by phone and arranged video calls and zoom calls with me to my mother. They also worked hard at keeping up morale among the residents the staff turning into hairdressers and manicurists (very successfully may I say). I will never be able to thank everyone at Wood Green enough for everything they do, especially during this scary and stressful year when at times they were exhausted, they continued to give the best care to the residents. They have much to be proud of.
Very kind, patient, obliging and caring staff which is most important to me, as a relative. Mum remarks about how good the carers are to her and tells me she is very well fed. Working under very difficult conditions due to the covid restrictions, the staff always maintain a pleasant and helpful manner and reassure Mum when she is needing it.
My dad has lived in Wood Green for 2 and a half years now and I genuinely couldn't recommend this care home highly enough. As a family, we could never thank the staff enough for all that they have done to care for Dad. During these really worrying times of lockdown, I get regular updates about how he is doing and this is so reassuring for us. The staff have, in my experience, gone over and above the call of duty in many ways and on many occasions!
A fantastic care home, staff are very compassionate and have excellent standards of care. They take the time to really get to know both the residents and their family, and Mum loves the staff and the home. I’m content going to work knowing Mum is getting the best care possible and is safe and well cared for.
I would really like to say thank you to Wood Green Care Home for the fantastic care they give my mum. They do a fantastic job, especially at this very stressing time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Always reassuring us when we can't see mum, and the care home is always spotless and hygienic. Many thanks to all staff.
I would highly recommend Wood Green Care Home. It has beautiful rooms and lovely gardens. The staff always go above and beyond for my dad; the staff are a credit to the home, they have shown true professionalism through these difficult times. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for everything they have done for Dad and all the residents at Wood Green.
I would like to thank all the staff at Wood Green for everything they have done. I and my family appreciate everything you have all done. You have been amazing from the beginning to the end for my granny. Thanks again.
My husband was in Wood Green Nursing Home from August 2019 to February 2020. I consider he has well looked after. The staff was considerate and kind. Accommodation excellent and food I consider good quality. I would be prepared to recommend your company.
I visit my granny and she is happy.
My granny has been in Wood Green for over a year now and is very settled. There is plenty of entertainment and she loves the singers coming in so she can get up to dance. The staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The home is modern and always kept clean. Smells fresh. The food looks great. Home from home environment. I’m happy knowing my granny is happy there and well looked after.
I'm a friend of a resident and find the care to my friend excellent. My friend always looks well and is well taken care of in the home. Staff are friendly and polite and provide good care to all residents.
Since my dad has moved to this home, I have seen a big improvement in my father as he is now more involved in social activities in the home and outside of the home.
There are regular events on in the home; such as entertainers and various denomination services provided in the home for those that wish to attend.
The home is very modern, and the staff are more than helpful.
The room is lovely, the staff are very helpful and pleasant nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. The home itself is well presented and no unpleasant smells. They provide a good mixture of things for there clients to do and encourage parties to join in. The place and his room are kept very clean. The health of my brother is well looked after and he is very happy with the service provided. At times during the night if he is awake staff will go above and beyond by providing him with tea and toast.
My nanny has settled well over the last year in Wood Green, the staff are very caring and understand when dealing with any aspect of care that she needs. The cleanliness of the room and the building, in general, is a good standard compared to other care homes. Activities that are laid on are good and my nanny would take part when the church comes in. Overall from coming into Wood Green, it has been a massive lift for my nanny and all of us as we know she is safe and taken great care of. I would happily recommend to anybody looking a place for their relative.
Mum has been in Wood Green for a year. She has settled in thanks to the patience and care from attentive staff. We are extremely happy with the care mum receives. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the friendly staff. Her room is very comfortable and clean and having her bathroom is a plus. There are plenty of activities for the residents, always plenty to do. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. Hard-working, caring, and go out of their way to meet her needs. I would highly recommend Wood Green Care Home.
