I needed somewhere to recover from a major eye operation and found the perfect care home. The staff are all kind, friendly, & very helpful they put in eyedrops for me four times a day. The food was delicious & varied with snacks mid morning & afternoon. I took part in some art & singing activities & really enjoyed it. lots of time was spent in the huge conservatory with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

The staff are kind & thoughtful & mainly cheerful. The house is lovely & clean.

Went in to respite after hospital and it was just what I needed to get me home again

My Mum has been a resident at Doveridge for the last 3+ years. Her care has been exemplary. Sadly, mum died recently. The staff could have been kinder, more considerate and more genuinely moved by mum's passing.

My stepmother's needs were always prioritised and our wishes respected. The staff showed great compassion and their care far exceeded our expectations. The support they provided us as a family gave comfort during a difficult time.

Helen, Ben and all the staff at Arcot House have taken exceptional care of my stepmother over the past year. I would highly recommend Arcot House and its staff, who went out of their way to make her feel at home and treated her with patience, kindness and respect. We are truly grateful.

Our Dad was a resident at Dove Lodge Care Home in Exmouth, and from even before he moved in, both he and our family were made to feel so welcome. His room was homely, comfortable and inviting, and the care and kindness shown by all the staff went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and the genuine compassion they showed towards Dad gave us great comfort during what was an incredibly difficult time.

We were also able to visit Dad as often as we wanted and were always made to feel welcome. Even being able to stay for a coffee helped us feel as though we were visiting Dad in his own home rather than a care home.

The management and staff at Dove Lodge truly go above and beyond. Their kindness, compassion and dedication made us feel reassured and at ease during Dad's final few months, and we will always be grateful for the care and support they gave him and our whole family.

The staff are very attentive and dedicated and conscientious The accomodation is excellent and the food appreciated by all. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home and always felt that Mum was safe and cared for.

my husband had a great respite stay the staff were wonderful. They managed to get my husband to our sons wedding, Emma came with him from the home and stayed with him for the few hours he was there. Which was great and the wedding was even better because he was there

What a wonderful place Doveridge is! My husband and I have been staying, and the care and kindness shown to us has been second to none. Lovely home cooked food, and the personal care given is done with professionalism and respect.

The personal care given is done with the dignity of the resident.

Mother has been here just over 3 years and is very happy to be cared for here by the staff. She loves her room and enjoys all the meals and being so well looked after. The staff contact me by phone if there are any issues with my mother. Mother is very happy here and says she has nothing to worry her.
