Wonderful place to reccomend to ayone
Thank you for your feedback, looking after your uncle during his respite stay was a pleasure. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
As soon as we walked into Bullsmoor Lodge, we instantly knew this was the place we'd been looking for - the place felt airy, bright, colourful, smelt nice, and all the staff had smiles on their faces plus they were all so friendly.
We also immediately sensed a level of detail and care and attention to residents that we didn't necessarily sense anywhere else.
We instantly knew this was the right place for us and this came as a massive relief as prior to that we were having doubts about everywhere we'd visited.
As well as being a lovely building and ideal size for what we wanted (neither too small nor too big), the staff are truly amazing. Every single person (carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, admin staff, management etc) that I came across was a genuine pleasure.
I feel very grateful to the management and staff for such a positive experience (thank you!).
Thank you for your kind words, I will share this with the staff. We always aim to provide a good service and make the place "home from home" - we look forward to seeing you and your Father again soon.
I think the home is very very good and friendly
Thank you for your kind words. I am pleased you was able to experience a good stay with us, I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Dad has been at Bullsmoor only a few weeks but we can honestly say, we are so happy knowing he is being cared for by such lovely caring staff. They are always smiling, so attentive and so patient. Dad is treated with respect and his dignity afforded at all times. They even share a bit of banter. A huge weight has been lifted from our shoulders and we can rest at night knowing he is safe and his needs are being met. He's always clean and changed regularly and tells us they are all lovely.
Thank you so much for trusting us with your Dads care, it is nice to know we have provided you with reassurance. I will share this feedback with the staff.
Mum had wonderful care during the 13 months she was there. A lovely and considerate group of staff, and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel welcome and involved in all mums care and welfare. Mum was always happy and well cared for and treated with dignity and respect
All staff are fantastic
Could not have found a better home, total piece of mind for all her family that all her need's are take care off
Thank you all at Bullsmoor
Thank you for your lovely words. It is our pleasure, thank you for always supporting us.
Since arriving at Bullsmoor Lodge in the new year, my grandad has been given a whole new lease of life. Nothing is too much for the staff, and my grandad's health conditions are never too big or demanding for their time or care - they are angels! I haven't seen him this happy or excited to get involved in a long time and as a family we're so thrilled. The whole team keep us updated with everything he's up to and we're so happy he gets to call Bullsmore Lodge home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We always aim to make Bullsmoor "home from home" for our residents and families. Thank you for trusting us with your Grandads care, its a pleasure. I will share this feedback with the staff as its lovely to hear.
All staff are very helpful and kind.
Thank you for your feedback, I will share this with the staff. I am pleased you are happy and satisfied with your residency here at Bullsmoor Lodge.
Since my aunt has been here, I feel very happy to know she is cared for. I have witnessed the love and care the carers give to her. My aunt came from a big family and in our tradition, we look after our seniors but her daughtered suffered a heart attack and I was looking after my partner with cancer so we were very anxious to put her in a home. However, she has thrived and the care the carers give her is home from home, we are very happy and the whole team are so caring and we feel so relaxed to know my aunt is in safe hands.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bullsmoor Lodge - we really appreciate you doing so. It is lovely to read your thoughts about the care and support provided by the Bullsmoor team and heartwarming to know that your aunt and whole family are happy.
Staff were at the door to welcome us in, help us sign in and show us around. Residents looked happy and cared for. Music was playing and staff were helpful.
We all sat in the small lounge together, the home is gorgeous and we would highly recommend.
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you had a good experience whilst visiting us. I will share this with the staff.
Thanks to all the staff at Bullsmoor Lodge for granting my mum and my greatest wishes. She loves her comfortable bed, her perfect room and she is waited on hand and foot and is now living the life of a teenager. Singing, dancing shows, you name it, they are putting it on. I have seriously never seen such a place like it.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is our pleasure to provide high-quality care. I am pleased you are happy with the service provided, I will share this feedback with the staff.
I cannot fault anything with this care home.
My nan was in this home many years ago. Some of the carers are still here, which shows you what a good place this is.
All management and staff are always there for family as well as the residents.
Thank you for your lovely comments, I will share this with the staff. It's an honour to provide care for your mum and I am proud that we made an impact with your nan that you chose to place mum here.
My dear Mum was always fearful of ever having to go into a care home. Thankfully, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Vascular Dementia and hip replacement at the age of 89, she went to stay at Bullsmoor Lodge in March of this year. She is now a permanent resident and is happier and healthier than she has been for years. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their round-the-clock care and love they all show on a daily basis. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved ones stay. Eternally grateful to them all.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, it is a pleasure to care for your Mother. I will share this with the staff as always nice to hear impact on others.
Every carer at the lodge is extremely kind and friendly. The facilities are very clean and there are wonderful communal areas for all residents and their visitors to have space to relax.
The bedroom is lovely and the en-suite bathroom is perfect.
I highly recommend Bullsmoor Lodge.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, myself and the staff are extremely grateful for your comments. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one.
The staff and warm and kind and offer a good level of care. We are very happy with the care that our Grandmother is receiving however the company has just put the fees up by 8%, over £500 a month, £6000 a year with no notice or discussion. When challenged about this they blamed the rise in the minimum wage which is awful as the tiny (and very justified) raise in the minimum wage could not account for such a huge increase. Clearly, the company are only focused on making more and more profits. The fees have increased by a third in six years, they are now at an unsustainable level which causes a huge anxiety as to our grandmother's future.
My aunt has been a resident of Bullsmoor Lodge for 8 years and has always received excellent care during that time. I have always been confident that she is being well looked after. Bullsmoor has always been well managed and the communication is great. I love the regular social media updates - so lovely to see regular updates.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, myself and the staff are extremely grateful for your comments. It is our pleasure to care for your Auntie. We will make sure we keep the pictures live.
In September 2023, my mother, aged 90, who lived with me, spent two weeks in respite care. After her stay, she asked to go on the waiting list to become a permanent resident as she couldn't fault the care she received. My mother has mobility problems, and the staff were patient, friendly and attentive. The meals were varied and very good. In October 2023, my mother became a permanent resident. She quickly settled in and continues to be happy. In December, my mother became unwell and the attention and care she received have been excellent. As a result, she is much better and continues to recover well. My mother is a very sociable person and enjoys interacting with the friendly staff and has made a very dear friend who is a resident. The Christmas party for residents and family members was a great success. My mother described the New Year's Eve party as fantastic. Knowing my mother is cared for so well has relieved a lot of stress for me, and we both now have quality time together when I visit.
Thank you for your kind words, myself and the staff are extremely grateful. It is our pleasure to care for your Mum. We will always do our best to deliver the best care to Mum and everyone else.
Mum is extremely well cared for in Bullsmoor Lodge. The home is always a happy place to be and even more so at Christmas time. Everywhere was decorated and all the stops were pulled out for a wonderful Christmas party with delicious food for the residents and families. All the staff show respect and love for Mum and all the residents. Mum loves to join in with all the activities and moving to Bullsmoor Lodge has given her family much-needed peace of mind that she is being well looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We are extremely grateful for your feedback; it is a pleasure to care for your Mum. We are pleased to hear that she is happy here.
My mother has been at Bullsmoor Lodge for nine years, and she has great care from the staff that has been excellent throughout the time she has been there. I would recommend Bullsmoor Lodge to anybody who is looking for a care home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. Myself and the staff are extremely grateful for your comments.
