Overall Experience

Erith House cared for my Dad over his last few challenging years and are still caring for my Mum. Both joined the community during Covid lockdowns, which was far from ideal timing, but the staff made the transition feel safe and welcoming. Since restrictions have eased I've been able to see much more

of the care and attention the team give to each resident. They have coped brilliantly with the ups and downs of life, including my Dad's passing a year ago, and make Mum feel loved and at home in Erith House. The team works well together, performing their different roles efficiently, effectively and (importantly) giving time to each resident according to their needs. As she approaches 100 it's very good to know that Mum is content and well cared-for. A big thank you to all the team.

Overall Experience

Satisfied with the care that my husband receives daily from the excellent staff! Furthermore, I am welcomed kindly everyday when visiting. This is a fantastic feeling for a family member struggling to cope with a loved ones illness.

Overall Experience

In June/June last year my father had a nasty fall and damaged his hip, that followed by mental health problems in hospital meant a massive life change for my previously independent dad. The staff and management of Erith enveloped him and us in their care. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Without

exception the staff are patient, personable, empathic, caring and best of all they listen to their residents. They treat them with respect. My dad is the healthiest he has been since my mum passed and his days are filled with laughter.

Rose Lawn is a bright care home which doesn't feel like walking into a home for the elderly. Everyone is very friendly and professional. The daily freshly cooked food is great. I am very happy my mother is there.

Overall Experience

My mother was in Rose Lawn for 3 months. She always dreaded going into a care home but the staff showed her such loving kindness and care she soon relaxed and it became her second home. Although she was unwell and depended on the staff she was able to retain her dignity and for that I will always be

Overall Experience

An amazing atmosphere for supported living. All staff that I have encountered have been empathetic and helpful, encouraging and enabling residents to lead a life that encourages socialisation and practical independence when appropriate to the individuals capabilities and needs. The friendly staff dispense

"care" with an emphasis on personalisation which is ideal as individuals preferences and needs vary greatly. Well done to all involved.

Overall Experience

My mum has been very well cared for for over 6 months now, the staff are brilliant in their care and attention to detail. Food is excellent including their birthday cakes. Mum really enjoys the company and activities too, and is much happier now.
The home is really clean and mum's personal care is

excellent too. So all in all an excellent place to live. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Rose Lawn has been home for my mum for five months now. It is an exceptional place. Knowing that Mum has first-class care 24 hours a day is priceless.
It is clear how much staff put residents' wishes and needs at the heart of what they do. Residents are consulted on a wide range of issues, from choosing

their menu and giving feedback on activities to having input into Summer and Christmas fayres.
The range of activities organised every week is amazing. From crafts, hymn singing, Pilates, musical performances, and quizzes to dance demonstrations, there's never a dull moment (but no pressure to join in if it's not your thing).
The location of Rose Lawn couldn't be better. It is on the flat and a short walk into town. My mum even gets to watch rugby matches from her room! The home is well maintained and definitely does not have a "care home" feel (or smell!) about it. The residents can even enjoy the company of a couple of pets.

Overall Experience

Unquestionably Rose Lawn is a happy home where every effort is made to ensure the well-being of residents. The staff comes across as a well-managed, united team, happy to walk the extra mile. The food is excellent in terms of both quality and quantity and activities are appropriate to the needs of the

limited number of residents able to take part.
My views are based on a recent respite stay. Should the need arise I would look to Rose Lawn again with confidence.

Overall Experience

In the time my Gran was there, she was always happy with her care and complimentary of the team. They looked after her with care and compassion. As she entered her last days, they really made things as easy for us as a family, as they possibly could. They were with her as much as possible when we weren't

able to be with her and I know that Gran will have felt loved and cared for in her last days.
After her passing, they were understanding and supportive. I was very grateful to the whole team.

Overall Experience

My mother was in Erith House for just over 7 years, and although it was a considerable distance away from where we lived we knew as a family that her care was exceptional. As a family, we cannot praise the staff enough, their dedication and the time they spent with Mum. It was as if they were a family

unit and the residents were treated like family rather than clients. Being a carer brings many challenges on a day-to-day basis but the staff at Erith House were exceptional they had time and patience laughing and joking and when you live a distance away it puts your mind at rest. Even in the later stages of mum's life, I could phone at any time to get updated and when mum unfortunately passed to be told by phone was difficult but I must express my gratitude to the nurse who held my mother's hand and then to phone and let us know. Thank you to everyone at Erith House for embracing so much fun, laughter, kindness and love for mum.

Overall Experience

I have been at Erith since 21st February 2024 after my previous care home closed. Everyone staff and residents have been very welcoming and kind which made such a difference at a very sad time. The management team are outstanding and so helpful, actually one has just asked me if there is anything they

Overall Experience

Rose Lawn Care Home is a bright, clean and cheerful home. Staff, without exception, are kind, caring, and thoughtful; residents are treated with respect and nothing is too much trouble. As a visitor to my late partner, I always felt welcome and a member of staff would always be available to answer any

questions and offer me a cup of tea. The food is excellent and was much enjoyed by my late partner and myself on occasions when I stayed for lunch.

Overall Experience

My Aunt has been a resident at Rose Lawn since 2019. She has dementia and there were initial difficulties around the legal aspects of her admission and whether she had capacity etc. From day one, Rose Lawn were very supportive and guided us through these difficulties and have continued to be fantastic

ever since. They are a real family of staff and residents and they have cared for my aunt - and more recently my Mother-in-Law also - extremely well during their time in their home. They are very professional with their handling of any medical matters - quickly getting on to Doctors, District Nurses, and hospitals as and when needed. There is always something going on activities-wise. Trips to the town, the seafront and even holidays away often take place. Since my aunt was admitted to hospital recently they have kept in touch and made efforts to update me on her progress whilst I was working away. I would not hesitate to recommend Rose Lawn to anyone looking for a home for their loved one.

Overall Experience

Both my mum and my aunt live in Rose Lawn, they are very happy and settled which was a huge concern for me when they moved in especially as they didn’t move in at the same time. However it soon became apparent that the staff are genuinely very caring, nothing is too much trouble and they treat all the

residents with the greatest respect and dignity.
My mum was unwell before Christmas and the staff immediately became aware, called an ambulance and made sure they had all the necessary documents ready for the crew when they arrived. When she returned from the hospital they put in extra measures to ensure her safety and care.
I am confident that my relatives receive excellent care from very hard-working and friendly staff.

Overall Experience

My mother lived in Rose Lawn for 7 years until the end of January 2023 when she died aged almost 102. She was superbly cared for the whole time and I couldn’t fault it. A very happy place.
She chose to remain there after having respite care when 95.

Overall Experience

Rose Lawn is a caring and compassionate community which makes residents and their families immediately feel 'at home'.
The home is clean, tidy, airy and bright and well-managed.
The staff are hard-working and will go above and beyond for the residents.
The food is varied and there is plenty of choice,

even for fussy eaters.
The activities for the residents are well-led, stimulating and numerous. The community events are a pleasure to attend.
