A truly amazing home. All the staff and Sisters show wonderful care and devotion to looking after residents. I was constantly updated on how my mam was and I felt at ease knowing she was being so well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone looking for residential care. A million thank yous.
Thank you for your positive and encouraging review- it is greatly appreciated by all at St Josephs. It was our privelege to care for your mum. God bless you all
As a family we cannot speak too highly about St. Joseph's. Saying thank you for the love and care delivered to our mother just isn't enough.
Thank you Gavin for your very encouraging and appreciated comments., which will be passed on to all Staff. It was our privelege to care for your mum and we are pleased that you felt confident in the care she received. As a Team we strive always to create a true Home for our Residents.
Warm welcoming and caring for our family. Excellent care and very personalised support. Would recommend the care home to anyone in the difficult position of needing 24 hour care for a loved one. The staff are consistent and knowledgeable and kind
Many thanks for your positive and encouraging review- we are very grateful- this will be passed on to the whole team.
Good quality care home, my brother is safe and well cared for he is settled and happy. This is a wonderful care home. The staff are, without exception, kind, caring, professional and supportive. They keep me informed of every event and any problems. The social space is light and well-planned and the social programme exciting, inclusive and happy. The grounds and views across the Tyne Valley are beautiful.

The home is very friendly and welcoming, the staff go out of their way to make sure residents are well cared for and happy. I have watched them deal with situations with patience and empathy even when they have been extremely busy.

St Joseph's is an extraordinary place to live, with outstanding care at every level, given by dedicated and devoted staff at all times. When visiting my uncle the other week, I was once again struck by the sheer commitment of all staff in addressing his emotional and physical needs. As I live in the Midlands, I'm not able to provide the frequent family support I'd like, but know that the staff there do this and there is very much a family feel there: it has become my home too- and family! it has been a great source of joy to be able to be welcomed into the family and we all know that he is being cared for as they would look after their own family members. Communication about everything is excellent and built on a deep sense of trust and loving relationship with the exceptional spiritual and loving ethos which is absolutely integral to this wonderful place. Heartfelt thanks.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are genuinely grateful for your kind words, especially your recognition of the family spirit we work hard to create here at St Joseph's. My mother has been resident here for just over 2 years and could not be happier. She feels safe and well cared for. The staff are respectful and caring and nothing is too much of a bother. The place is squeaky clean, lots to do and great homecooked food. 24 registered nurse cover, and weekly GP surgery and hairdresser on site. Beautiful grounds outside to walk or just sit in the sunshine.

We are so fortunate to have a beautiful environment and wonderful care for our dear cousin at this time of her life.
Thank you for your kind and encouraging review. We understand how important peace of mind is when you are not nearby, and we are pleased to know that you feel confident in the care your cousin is receiving. Your feedback means a great deal to us, and it supports our continued efforts to provide the highest standard of care and a warm, welcoming Home.
My mum has lived in the home for almost eighteen months. She needs all carers and is hoisted. The staff treat her with respect and are all kind and caring. Every morning the staff get her washed and dressed and wheel her to the sitting room, and put the television on for her. She always had the telly on when she lived at home. She goes back to bed in the afternoon for a nap as she gets very tired. I get regular updates from the staff and they always contact me if they are worried about my mum. I also find the staff on reception are very friendly and helpful. I live a couple of hours away from the home but I never worry about my mum as I know that she is well looked after.

St Joseph's Care Home has provided excellent care for my mother for almost 4 years. The home also welcomed my dad for the last few months of his life. The staff and community of St Joseph's have been a warm and caring support for my mam. Speak to the residents and they all say how lucky they are to be able to feel safe and secure in the StJoseph's community.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We're truly grateful for your thoughtful words and are pleased to know that you feel your mother is well cared for and supported. We continually strive to enhance the quality of our care and our Home, and your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us do so.
The grounds are extensive and well maintained and there many south facing places to sit outside and enjoy summer weather
We greatly appreciate your positive review and are heartened to know you feel your mum is well supported in our care. We are always looking for ways to improve both our services and the Home itself, and your feedback plays an important role in that process.
My aunt (RIP) also lived at St Joseph's for many years: when the time came for Dad to need extra care we knew he'd be safe and happy here.
Thank you for your warm and encouraging feedback. We are delighted to hear that you feel that your father is being well cared for. Your comments and suggestions are not only appreciated but also help us to continually improve the services and environment we provide.
After 9 months I could not be happier with the standard of care for my mother. She knew the home well and with my father was a regular visitor to see siblings. When Mum arrived the welcome couldn't have been warmer - the staff remembered her well. Not only does it show how caring they are - it also demonstrates that St Joseph's retains their staff for many years. The domestic staff take pride in cleanliness throughout the building. The dining room is light, airy and comfortable with special treats on celebratory days. I eat with my mum now and again and am happy with the food. I am particularly pleased that staff listen to my mum and try to accommodate her wishes - and they listen to me too. Communication is good both verbally and in writing. I can't think of anywhere better when the time comes to be cared for in a community. It is hard for older people to give up their old lives and their own homes. St Joseph's recognise this and the ups and downs that come with this enormous change.
We are truly grateful for your kind review. It means a great deal to know that our efforts to provide a supportive and compassionate environment are appreciated. Your feedback helps guide our continual commitment to enhancing the care and comfort we offer at our Home.
Thankfully mum is now much recovered. It has been such a dramatic recovery and we cannot thank the staff, everyone of them, enough. They have all shown mum dignity and respect throughout.
Thank you for your positive review. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful feedback and are pleased to know that you feel that your mum is well supported and cared for. We continually strive to improve the care we provide and the quality of our Home, and your comments and suggestions are a valuable contribution to that ongoing effort.
Special thanks to everyone working at the home.

We are not Catholic but I do appreciate the wonderful ethos at St Peters. It makes this a loving, friendly and fun place to be. We are so lucky to have found it.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We are very pleased that your husband has settled in so well to St. Peter's and that you are able to visit so often and spend quality time with him
This is a wonderful care home. The staff are, without exception, kind, caring, professional and supportive. They keep me informed of every event and any problems. We recently held my cousin's 90th birthday party there and nothing was too much trouble. Her room is clean, tidy and well organised and her clothes are beautifully kept in her wardrobe. The food is delicious and a choice is always provided. The social space is light and well-planned and the social programme exciting, inclusive and happy. The grounds and views across the Tyne Valley are beautiful. Overall it is a happy, safe, healthy and friendly place for my cousin and we enjoy our visits. She is so well cared for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and for your very positive and encouraging comments: the whole team will be delighted to receive them. We were very happy to be able to share in the 90th birthday celebrations- we all had a wonderful day! Again, thank you!
My aunty has been a resident for a little over a year now. She is very happy there. The staff are very pleasant and courteous to residents and visitors. She can attend mass every day and has learned to paint.
Thank you for your positive feedback, it is much appreciated and good to hear. The art class is becoming very popular with our residents!
Amazing welcome for my uncle following prior discussion regarding his needs and preferences. Staff are so diligent. Activities weekdays vary and entertainment regularly. Meal times are very social and diet is given attention regarding individuals' personal preferences if necessary. Warm, peaceful atmosphere. Daily religious services. Homely and friendly.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give your positive feedback; it is greatly appreciated and will be passed on to the whole team. Thank you!
