Overall Experience

After viewing and researching several care homes, I chose Maryville for my father, and, luckily, there was a room available. I made an excellent choice. The staff are welcoming, friendly, effective and, above all, extremely kind. This is an extremely well run care home. The quality of care is outstanding,

and any medical problems are dealt with promptly. My father is very happy at Maryville and especially likes the beautiful grounds.

Overall Experience

The home manager was lovely and very kind to my grandad and she always made him happy. She would always show love and compassion for him. She was very compassionate. His room was lovely and very warm, he was given a lot of comfort. Very good hygiene and lots of good activities for residents even board

games, movies etc. They would also host lots of parties. Overall wonderful.

Overall Experience

My mother regretfully began to show signs of dementia and as a family, we found we were unable to care for her due to our own medical problems. Maryville has been excellent, helping her to eat properly and to get in liquids. She lost weight, and by all the care taken by Maryville, she regained some

of what was lost. She has perked up and is taking an interest in the activities, especially music and card game sessions. We as a family are so happy to see our Mum coming back to us.

Overall Experience

My mother who has Alzheimer's has been a resident at Maryville Care Home since April 2024. The home is clean, bright and tidy with a large, well-kept outdoor space for the residents to use. The staff are caring and supportive of the residents and their families. The staff are also very vigilant about

getting medical help and advice if it is needed. There are plenty of activities and my mum is always encouraged to join in. My mum is always treated with respect and dignity as are the other residents. Maryville is definitely a calm and welcoming place.

I will be able to return to Australia reassured that my 100-year-old mother is being well looked after, the facilities are excellent and the dedicated staff and most caring, as they attend to all my mother's needs. Her general health and outlook seemed to have improved since my last visit. Good management,

Overall Experience

I am so pleased we found Maryville. We visited in advance to view the home and facilities. Then a home visit was made to us to learn about Mum and ascertain her needs. The care team all came to welcome Mum on her first day and encouraged us to make her room her own. They took time to get to know Mum

and arrange her care plan. All the staff I have met are compassionate, supportive and kind. The team leaders are excellent, equally so the management and administrative staff who have an open door policy and are very approachable. Mum and I love the beautiful garden and enjoy spending time there. There is a very enthusiastic and committed Activities Coordinator who plans lots of activities for the residents. Maryville is very clean and comfortable, the lounges and dining areas are beautifully kept and the atmosphere is always calm and purposeful. I visit daily and can now spend quality time with Mum rather than run around trying to meet all her needs myself and I really value that.

Overall Experience

The home and staff are amazing. They are so professional and understanding of my Dad's needs. They reassure him when he is anxious, they will call me when he wants to talk with me. The food is plentiful and always looks very nice. Home-cooked and very pleasing to the eye, soup as well.
The care is

excellent. The staff are always friendly, polite and approachable.
The manager is always around to talk with as well with her office door open and this is very reassuring and welcoming.

Overall Experience

My visit to Maryville Care Home has always been a pleasure, with a polite and friendly welcome. I can also see how happy and relaxed my mother is when I see her. This is all thanks to the care staff who provide continuous support and attention to my mother and other residents. My mother enjoys the group

activities that are provided twice a day. We have discovered that our mum has great talent in watercolour. She enjoys the crafts including pottery and flower arranging. Thanks from the family, Maryville Care Home for all the hard work and for making Mum happy!

I am so happy with the care given to my sister. She is interested in so many of the activities arranged to stimulate sedentary residents. Her health care is excellent and great consideration is given to her frailty.

to communicate in my mother's mother tongue has been invaluable in ensuring my mother feels understood and comfortable in her new environment. All the staff have been incredibly supportive in helping her settle down. Their patience, empathy, and willingness to bridge the language gap have made all the difference. I visit the care home daily, they take the time to update me on my mother's day, ensuring I'm always informed and reassured about her well-being. Home itself is well-maintained and provides a nurturing atmosphere. The care team have not only eased my concerns but have also made my mother feel at home, and for that, I'm immensely grateful.
