There are no activities outside of the care home that the residents are offered.
The heating in this place does not work - on full temp in the summer. Plumbing is very troublesome with no hot water when needed. No WiFi

and any medical problems are dealt with promptly. My father is very happy at Maryville and especially likes the beautiful grounds.

The team leaders are excellent, equally so the management and administrative staff who have an open door policy and are very approachable. Mum and I love the beautiful garden and enjoy spending time there. There is a very enthusiastic and committed Activities Coordinator who plans lots of activities for the residents. Maryville is very clean and comfortable, the lounges and dining areas are beautifully kept and the atmosphere is always calm and purposeful. I visit daily and can now spend quality time with Mum rather than run around trying to meet all her needs myself and I really value that.

All the staff have been incredibly supportive in helping her settle down. Their patience, empathy, and willingness to bridge the language gap have made all the difference. I visit the care home daily, they take the time to update me on my mother's day, ensuring I'm always informed and reassured about her well-being. Home itself is well-maintained and provides a nurturing atmosphere. The care team have not only eased my concerns but have also made my mother feel at home, and for that, I'm immensely grateful.
