After a brief stay at the hospital it became evident that my darling 97 year old Aunt could not stay by herself. We spoke to the staff at Wilhemenia House and my aunt was admitted for respite care. Her stay was only about six weeks but the care she received was excellent. The staff are very caring and the facility is spotless. I believe the level of care comes from the top as Dolly and Magda set great examples. Even after her passing the facility assisted her son and went beyond. I cannot thank them enough.

We always find Wilhelmina House an extremely welcoming and friendly place. Our mother is well cared for by excellent staff, we could not wish for better. She is very happy here and always enjoys the activities provided. Throughout the hot weather last month great care was taken to make sure she was kept cool and had plenty to drink

My father loves the place. He seems to have a new life and has settled in well. He loves all the attention and activities. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

My aunt has lived at Wilhelmina House for over a year now. All the staff are so welcoming to me. I have total confidence that all my aunt's needs and wishes are met, without question. She is treated as if she is a member of their family or friend! They go out of their way to ensure she is happy and well cared for.

Great care home

Our mum came for a 4 week respite care stay. After 2 weeks she told us she wanted to stay as a permanent resident. She is so happy here, looks healthier already. Without exception all staff and residents are so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Roma, our mother/mother-in-law has never been happier for the whole time she has been here. The staff are wonderfully caring and go out of theur way to make her time enjoyable. The social events are always a highlight and although she is not walking at the moment she insists on coming down and the staff oblige. Thank you Wilhelmina.

Excellent experience at Wilhelmina House. Staff are very welcoming & friendly. Entertainment is very good & clearly a lot of work goes in all round. The home is very very clean, the food + choice of food is excellent, rooms are comfortable + welcoming. I have no complaints. Rooms only given a good because some bits are a little tired

We could not have hoped for a better home for our mum age 96 when she could no longer live on her own. All the staff go above and beyond to provide individualised care and I have sat in on meetings with residents and staff and can see how feedback is welcomed and acted on. The kitchen staff are amazing presenting wide option of freshly cooked meals

My gorgeous Grandad spent his final few weeks at Whitgift House and I have nothing but praise to sing for this care home. The staff at every level were incredibly helpful, kind and had a genuine passion to care for people rather than "just do their job." They took the time to answer all of our questions without any feeling of being rushed and truly want what's best for their residents. The care home was extremely clean and had a real sense of peace and calmness, which can be very rare to find. It also had a beautiful garden, a chapel for residents to use, lots of engaging activities and a dining room where the residents can eat together which added a real touch of normality and sense of living for the residents. My family and I are extremely grateful for everything, and I would recommend Whitgift House to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you so much x
