My father-in-law was admitted to Broomy Hill for assessment. His wife passed away. He stayed there for 6-weeks until we found him accomodation near to our home.
All the staff at Broomy Hill were kind, caring, considerate, & treated him with dignity & understood all his needs, doing their best to accomodate
them.
We could not have managed without them. We knew he was safe & cared for.

I cannot recommend Holmer Court highly enough as I was a resident there for only two months as I was so well looked by all the carers and nurses. I was VERY sad when I was moved to a different nursing home, so much so that I started having '' episodes' a bit like having hallucinations' all the carers
were sad to see me move and two actually cried when told i was moving, so much so that one of the nurses, Sarah and I are friends and she visits me here . Also one of the other residents is happy to be friends and visit me here.

My dad was in Broomy Hill from June 2025-October 2025 during his time here he was looked after so well, and as a family we felt so happy and relaxed that dad was somewhere that knew him, cared for him and looked after him when we no longer could. During dad's final weeks/days not only did they look
after dad with respect care and dignity they also looked after us as a family. I will never forget the care they provided to not only dad but to us all during one of the hardest times of our lives. We are forever grateful for the wonderful staff at Broomy Hill!

All of the staff are great, patient and considerate of the situation. They encourage his love of gardening and often take him out for trips around town. He's able to socialise and stay stimulated. He's physically and mentally well cared for. Uncle really enjoys the banter with the staff & management.
Thank you Broomy Hill.

Our lovely Mum had to leave her previous care home as they couldn't meet her dementia needs..
We moved her to Broomy Hill in August.
This was, beyond a doubt, the best decision we've ever made!
Broomy Hill is run to an extremely high, professional standard by the wonderful manager, Julie.
She clearly
knows how to run a care home as all the staff you come into contact with seem so happy to be working there.. and I mean all of the staff!
Everyone chats to Mum, no matter what their role is!
She's clean and happy, and is always smiling when we go to visit.. we have seen a massive change in Mum's personality since we moved her here.. she's back to being like our Mum again!! Laughing, chatting and smiling ..
We have nothing but praise for Julie and her wonderful team at Broomy Hill, and would definitely recommend this care home to anyone

My mother only had a short stay at Broomy Hill Nursing Home and during that stay she was well looked after and the staff were excellent. Above all, the manager and another member of staff, in particular, were the beating heart of this home. My mother has moved to another care home which is under the
same management of this care home, so I'm confident that she will be looked after well. The other home is also run by Ashberry Care Homes. Well done.

We can't thank the staff enough at broomy hill nursing home for everything they have done for our auntie/sister over the past 4+ years. Mum has recently moved to Holmer Court. The reason we chose Holmer Court is its lovely homely feel. Mum has settled and adjusted well, I think this is mainly due to the excellent staff and the attention she receives. They go above and beyond, and you can see that they genuinely care, not only for
the residents but for family members too which is lovely. I look forward to visiting Mum and it's nice to see her in such a happy, friendly environment where she has made new friends and can join in with new activities. In Mum's own words - "the ladies are nice to talk too and the staff are so kind"

Every time I have visited the staff have always been very friendly, cheery and helpful, as well as that they are accommodating and they are happy to find a quiet area for family visiting if needed which is lovely when visiting. In the dryer weather it is great to be able to sit outside in the garden
and enjoy that area too.

The staff at Broomy hill have been exceptional, friendly and very caring.
My Gran has been very well looked after and she has settled in well.
We enjoy visiting 2-3 times a week and the staff are chatty smiley and you can see that they care for all the residents.
The manager is wonderful, she
is full of energy and has a very caring nature. One staff member in particular is wonderful and very welcoming and always lets us know how my Gran has been.
The receptionist always greets up with a smile and a chat. All the day carers and night carers are wonderful. The food is great and a good variety. My Grans bedroom is wonderful light and spacious.

This is the perfect home for my wife and partner of over 60 years. The staff are very friendly and provide a truly relaxing environment. My wife has developed a close relationship with the staff and helps them in the kitchen and garden. She enjoys complete freedom within the home which is a much

My mum has been there for over a month now and I have been so impressed with the care from all the staff. Everyone is warm, patient, kind, helpful and professional. Mums health had deteriorated very suddenly and rapidly but within a few weeks her physical health has hugely improved.
The Weir has a
lovely communal and family friendly feel-even pets are welcomed. There is a genuine sense of care and compassion, which seems to have been lost in many health care facilities.
I would recommend The Weir to anyone in the sad position where a loved one needs residential care.

The staff provided exceptional support and reassurance to my grandfather and our family following the challenging decision to transition him to care. From his arrival, he has consistently received dignified, respectful, and patient treatment. He frequently praises the staff's kindness and expresses
deep gratitude for their care. He's also enjoying the diverse range of activities offered. Our visits are always welcoming, inquiries are promptly addressed, and concerns are effectively alleviated. As a family, we are exceedingly pleased with the level of care provided.
