As a team we all work hard to ensure that the residents are well cared for and I appreciate that you have observed the kindness and professionalism of the staff. It would be difficult to make a small lounge near reception, however, we have refurbished the activity room and renamed it Lutyens Lounge which can be accessed. Our chef is always looking to see how he can improve the mealtime experience for residents and our new Breakfast Club is very popular. Our new wellbeing team are now providing activities every day and it is always a pleasure to see residents who would not normally leave their rooms deciding to join in. Hello, thank you very much for your outstanding review. The staff will be thrilled with your feedback. Our meals are homemade using local suppliers and we offer a daily menu to our residents and encourage them to make their own choices. We have snacks, cakes and sandwiches available 24 hours a day; should someone want a little something with their cup of tea, day or night. Our team have grown so much over the past year and the home is full of laughter and most importantly a good standard of person-centred care. I am proud to be the manager of Moorhouse and all that we have achieved together. Making our residents and families happy is what we strive for. Many thanks.

Hello, thank you so much for your lovely review. We always appreciate the feedback and I will share it with the team. We have many different personalities in Moorhouse, they all make up our Moorhouse family. We listen to our resident's wishes and encourage all of our residents to have a meaningful life, in a multitude of ways. I have seen your mum up dancing (and I have the photos!). When the singer began to sing a particular song with a small amount of encouragement we had her up on her feet dancing with a great big smile on her face. Our food is home cooked and we always involve the residents and their likes and dislikes in the menu. We use local shops and suppliers as Ashberry Health Care's ethos is to keep our care homes in the centre of our community by engaging with and supporting our local shops and businesses.
