The staff at Norcot are all very friendly and helpful and genuinely care. Myself and my family have had peace of mind since my daughter has been at Norcot, as it's a safe environment and the staff always there ready to help in any way they can.
From the moment my Dad arrived at Haven Lodge, he was made to feel welcome, comfortable and at home. All the staff provided great care and were so kind to my Mum, my brother and I. Nothing was too much trouble. My Dad received end of life care so this was a difficult time for our family. A huge thank you to all the staff for their dedication, hard work and kindness.
Overall the care home is clean, fresh and well run. As ever, it is the smaller details that need improvement. Items are often left out of reach e.g., remote control, lights sometimes not switched on in the evening, tea is sometimes done in a rush. Food is always of a good standard and appetizing, definitely in the top league for food. Tops are sometimes left of body wash, toothpaste etc.
My son had several heart attacks whilst living here and quickly sent to hospital to be cared for.
My dad seems so much better and happier since moving here. He is cared for well and someone always lets me know of any changes or problems. I am very happy with the care he receives and he looks well and happy.
Care staff are always welcoming and they can't do enough for you.
I came here two years ago and find it the most welcome home I have lived in. The staff are all friendly and deal with my problems with care. I look forward to moving on next year but will recommend this home if I ever need to.
