My husband was treated wtih great care. He had Lewy Body Dementia as well as physical difficulties. The staff worked together to make him as comfortable as possible, nothing was too much trouble. They treated me with kindness and consideration, even though I was with him for about 6 hours, each day.
My husband passed away in the home, and their high standards continued, until the very last minute.

Very caring, loving friendly staff. A very nice spot in the New Forest. I always felt that my father was in safe hands and kept us updated on Ron's health and wellbeing.
Would recommend this nursing home.

We cannot fault the love and care within the care home. The staff go over and above for all the residents and they really care for all their residents. They organise activities for the residents that can take part. They are truly wonderful and I would never hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone

I have found that all members of staff have been polite, helpful and very professional in their approach to their work. This is always a difficult standard to maintain, as the variation of work can vary extremely frequently, requiring a change to tasks.

A recent resident as dad entered this lovely environment a couple of weeks ago. Obviously a very emotional time and a new experience for me as not had any dealings with residential homes really.
The staff are all amazing every single one is just a delight and immediately the atmosphere we walked into
was warm and loving. My dad is treated with dignity and care and this makes a very hard process a million times easier!!!

This is an excellent care home with attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
The accommodation is of a high standard and patient support is first class.
Since my mother in law is bedridden, I cannot comment on activities within the home since she does not leave her room.
I would suggest that the main
internal doors, which are self closing, are a bit noisy. When they shut, the upper floor reverberates and it might be that softer closure mechanisms should be considered.
Car parking for visitors can be problematic. The entrance to the main car park is narrow, bordered by large stonework and involves a tight turn from the entrance driveway. There are parking spaces on the driveway but these are normally occupied (presumably by staff).
Overall I consider the home to be of a very acceptable standard.

Mum has Alzheimer's and has been living at the home for 6 weeks. Every time I go in, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Mum seems very happy to be there, which is a relief to me after a horrendous 2 years of her living alone and mum not being able to cope but in denial of course! The food
always seems to be good too and mum has a lovely room over looking the garden.

We can only wish that our father was in Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home for a much longer period.
He was well cared for, treated with kindness and happy to be involved in all activities.
We can't thank the staff enough for his care at the end of his life and the dignity shown to him and us as a family
when he passed.

Mum was transferred here from the hospital. All the staff are so kind, caring, professional, friendly and welcoming to both Mum and us. Mum is so well looked after and with such dignity. The staff are also here for us which is brilliant because it can be quite daunting when a loved one goes into a home.
We are so pleased Mum was transferred here and couldn't wish for more. Mum and her room are always immaculately clean. There is a variety of activities which is inclusive of everyone's abilities. The food is amazing and there is a good choice and the staff have time to feed Mum. It's a beautiful home with lovely rooms and communal areas beautiful gardens and an enclosed patio area. The communication is excellent and we're kept up to date with everything and everyone is so approachable and happy to help with anything. The home is very organised and well-run in a lovely, friendly, relaxed and homely environment. Attention to detail is amazing here.

The staff are 100% good and caring. The conditions of rooms and maintenance are poor, it took six months for my mother's window to be fixed as cold air was coming in. A roof leak stain has never been painted and the carpets need to be replaced with vinyl for hygiene. The food is average.

My father was discharged for assessment from hospital to Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home. The whole team provided exemplary care during his final days. He was treated with dignity, compassion and respect. He was in a large room overlooking beautiful gardens and was kept comfortable with tender loving
care. All members of staff we came into contact with behaved impeccably towards Dad and us. When we visited, Staff Members from the Manager down popped by to say hello and update us re his circumstances. They were on hand for us too when needed. The home has its own chef and the food provided looked very good. There were choices too. The staff had time to feed the residents. Dad always looked clean and shaven, even during his last few days. Our overriding memory will be of his 90th birthday celebration there. A huge cake was prepared by the chef and we were offered copious cups of tea and refreshments. Visiting was anytime. We were privileged to have had the last 2 months of his life here.
