I have found that all members of staff have been polite, helpful and very professional in their approach to their work. This is always a difficult standard to maintain, as the variation of work can vary extremely frequently, requiring a change to tasks.

Two Beeches Nursing Home

Both my Parents are residents at Two Beeches. Dad has been there for 2 years and Mum just over a year.
I cannot fault the care that they are both given. All their needs are met. Everyone is so friendly and professional. My Sister and I are kept informed of any change in their medical care and needs
immediately. Any concerns we may have with regards to our parents are addressed straight away.
They have separate rooms and we have been able to bring in some of their own furniture, ornaments and pictures to make it feel more like home for them and encouraged to do so. It is evident that all members of staff care very much for the Residents and treat them with care and respect which means a lot to us. Mum has her hair and nails done regularly and Dad's hair cut and beard trimmed which is lovely. There is always something going on entertainment wise and residents are encouraged to participate. I would definitely recommend this nursing home. Thank you to everyone for looking after them.

A recent resident as dad entered this lovely environment a couple of weeks ago. Obviously a very emotional time and a new experience for me as not had any dealings with residential homes really.
The staff are all amazing every single one is just a delight and immediately the atmosphere we walked into
was warm and loving. My dad is treated with dignity and care and this makes a very hard process a million times easier!!!

My family and I are grateful for the exceptional care my father receives at Two Beeches. From his first day at the facility, staff have shown compassion, kindness and patience. My father has been treated with dignity and respect which has meant such a lot to our family.
Two Beeches is a welcoming,
homely environment where my father feels safe and comfortable. Daily activities, such as crafts and games, are on offer as well as bigger social events. Participation is encouraged but there is no pressure. Every effort is made to meet my father's preferences and likes and dislikes, by staff who genuinely care about his health and quality of life.
Communication is excellent. Staff are always willing to answer questions and update me on my father's wellbeing. The support that my family has received from this nursing home has been invaluable and we cannot thank them enough.

Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
This is an excellent care home with attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
The accommodation is of a high standard and patient support is first class.
Since my mother in law is bedridden, I cannot comment on activities within the home since she does not leave her room.
I would suggest that the main
internal doors, which are self closing, are a bit noisy. When they shut, the upper floor reverberates and it might be that softer closure mechanisms should be considered.
Car parking for visitors can be problematic. The entrance to the main car park is narrow, bordered by large stonework and involves a tight turn from the entrance driveway. There are parking spaces on the driveway but these are normally occupied (presumably by staff).
Overall I consider the home to be of a very acceptable standard.

My mother has been a resident at Two Beeches Nursing Home for a little under 2 yrs. she is always treated with compassion and love. It is clear to see the bond she has with her favourite carers. When they talk to her her face lights up each time. Initial I did consider moving her closer to home but
after seeing how happy and content she is here, I quickly changed my mind.

The staff are always happy to see us when we visit and spend time updating us , even if it's only been a few days since the last visit. I am very grateful for the level of care she gets. It is easily the best place for mum to be. Thank you for all that you do.

This review is our overall comments by the Bayne family following our mother's stay with you for the last five years. Our mum had a wonderful time at Southlands and made many close friends of both the Residents and Staff and they will all be missed by both her and us as a family. The staff are always
welcoming and the home kept impeccably clean and with outstanding homemade food by Jacqui which my mum always enjoyed. Also over this long time the nursing and caring staff, there are too many brilliant ones to mention, have met mums wishes and looked after her with a very high level of professional and personal care. We would like to thank every single member of staff for what they have done for mum and also for us as a family and wish all residents and staff of Southlands our best wishes.

My mother entered Southlands for end-of-life care in July. Sadly, she passed within a week. During that time, the care and attention provided by the nursing home staff was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly, engaging, and really interested in the people in their care. Mum
was totally bed-bound by the time she entered the home, but she was not hidden away and forgotten about. She was placed right at the centre of the home, with constant visits by staff to check on her wellbeing. I am so glad that we chose Southlands for Mum's last few days. It was clear that senior management led by example, and the service provided was exemplary.

I've been a resident of Southland's since 23/5/2023, IAM disabled and bed bound currently 58 year old male, the whole of the staff are amazing, once a month your resident of the day in which they weigh you, when I first come to Southland's I was 8.5 stone, am currently weighing 13.7 stone, you are treated
as a person not as a patient, all the staff encouraged you to keep you motivated, moving, all the residents rooms are like hotel rooms and the staff encouraged you to peronised your room as much as you like, in the past year I've had health and personal problems in which the staff have helped me a lot, since being here I've never felt alone,

My Dad moved into Oaklands two weeks ago, we were a bit worried as to how he would get on in a home but he is very happy. The staff are all so lovely, not just with Dad but to my Mum and myself. He has played bingo, with a bit of guidance from the staff, for the 1st time in his life and was very happy
when he won. It was his birthday in the week and all the staff made such a fuss of him on his big day and even made him a lovely birthday cake and some of the staff came into his room to sing happy birthday to him.We were permitted to have our own private suprise party for him yesterday with all of his adult grandchildren and partners present. All of the staff are always smiling and always very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. My dad is well looked after and happy which is such a relief for us all. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Thank you so much to all of the staff for the care and support that you give to my dad.

Sadly my mum was only at Southlands for a few months before she died, however the love and care that was given to her during that time by all the staff was exemplary, especially in the last few days of her life. Their kindness also extended to myself during difficult circumstances, and I will be forever
grateful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a safe place for their loved ones who require care.

The home was very comfortable in my uncles final weeks. The staff were fantastic, regularly checking in on him and us as visitors, very attentive. My uncle had a lovely room with views of the garden, beautiful setting. The room was a good size with plenty of room for visitors.

Everywhere was very neat and tidy and smelled fresh and clean. Mum's room was very clean and tidy. The new portable indoor chair is much better than a wheelchair. We had pre-booked the 'Dining Room' and we valued the care that the carer working the morning had laid up the table beautifully for our lunch.
It all felt calm and all staff greeted us warmly as we walked past.
