Care Homes Owned by Belmont Healthcare in Kent

Sadly I feel the need to write again concerning the issues of 17/8/26 and 28/8/26 none of which have been addressed by management at any level senior or junior, there's been no responce whatsoever, a simple how can we help, what can we do to minimise your concerns. Yet again nothing no communication at any level from management at any time. Many thanks for puting this review out there. But after '3' reviews and no responce from management junior or senior, it makes one wonder are any of these "reviews" taken seriously??

My mum is much settled and alway here.

My Mum is a resident at Wombwell Hall care home. She has been there since 7/2/2025. Arriving straight from hospital.

She has Alzheimer's/Dementia and at first struggled to settle. The kindness of the staff, the treatment and support she has received since has meant she is now much more settled.

The staff are very adaptive to her needs and know how to react when she has moments of sadness and frustration , not understanding why she cannot do things she previously could.

They keep very detailed records regarding all aspects of her care, liaising with her gp.

They monitor closely her food and drink intake and her weight.

All the staff are genuinely caring and I am happy with the care she receives. The care home is always clean and well organised

My mother has lived at Copper Beeches for two years now and received excellent and compassionate care from the staff, many of whom have worked there for some years. The home is particularly clean and the food and drink are of a very high standard.

She was bed bound and had Dementia, she was always treated with care, dignity and compassion. The Home and carers were so helpful with all our family visiting every day. Especially night visiting when my mum wasn't well. She sadly peacefuly passed away this June. The whole staff were so kind and helpful to us , even saying goodbye to mum as she left the home when she passed. We are so grateful. Xx

My Aunt has been a resedent since early January 2026 . After a reserved start , she has slowly adapted too her new surrondings and now has a smile on her face most days. There are a varity of activities which you either do or not the choice is theirs. All round care for our loved ones is on show at all time. Well Done Wombell Hall. All staff are very dedecated to the well being of our Loved one !!

We could not wish for more for our beloved Dad.

The care and attention was 100% by all staff working at this care home. Dot and Kelly went above and beyond to make us welcome when visiting and the care given to mum.. Thankyou all for all the care provided. Keep up the good work there.

My mum Alma came into Wombwell but was only there a short while, but the care she was given was wonderful, Dot the unit manager was absolutely brilliant , the care , kindness and love she showed mum and us as a family was second to none, the nurses and care staff and other staff was all wonderful, thank you all so much for making mums time with you happy and pane free until she fell asleep for the last time xx

A huge thank you to all the staff they looked after my Nan with so much love and care, she was there for just a short time but felt like I knew the staff especially the nurses for years, and they were so supportive to us as a family after we lost my Nan. I will never forget the time spent there

They now have a new manager, and she is doing a grand job. Such a lovely person.

My father in law was cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. He was treated like an intelligent, independent, worldly individual. The staff showed expertise, professionalism, kindness and expressed a genuine interest in both my father in law and us, his family. We will be forever grateful in enabling us to have respite, which is absolutely essential to families knowing he was safe and cared for. Haslington Lodge and the staff have become an extended family.

I find myself writing another excellent review for this care home. My dad had an unfortunate accident 10 weeks ago where he injured his arm. The staff at the hospital said that due to his age and having type 2 diabetes his arm would take a very long time to heal or may never heal. I am so pleased to say that after the excellent care that dad has received to his arm it is nearly now completely healed. The expert care shown by all of the staff especially Arnold who has mainly been responsible for the changing of the dressing etc leaves me in no doubt to the reason for this successful outcome. Arnold is also so knowledgeable regarding dad's type 2 diabetes which I am very pleased to say is now under control now which is such a relief to me. His patience and kindness with everyone there is so special. All of the staff at Pickwick House from the domestic staff, the excellent carers and management are a great team whose main priorities are the people living there. Thank you all

Homely feel. Welcoming staff at reception, carers are friendly both to resdients and families and understanding. Bubbly life style team. Would recommend a visit.

I can't comment on food or drink as Jean is peg fed. Jean has been treated with good care whilst being here. She has no bed sores or redness as the carers & nurses turn her regularly. She has had no infections around her peg site or any blockages. Her care has been excellent.

My mother has advanced Altzheimer's and I've always been confident that she's cared for with dignity and compassion

My Mother in Law is cared for at Wombwell Hall. She was recently moved to the care home from another facility. Since the move she has settled amazingly well. Care staff are amazingly welcoming and are exceptional at what they do. We feel her care is well above the standard from the previous location. My Mother in Law in included and regularly moved to the lounge area to spend time in the company of other residents. There is a really comprehensive programme of activities lead by Mollie and her team. These activities, not only focused to residents but to families and visitors too. The small touches like laying dining tables with flowers and glasses, easter eggs for residents, birthday celebrations and much more make all the difference to residents. Staff go above and beyond to make this a community rather than a facility. Highly recommended to anyone who has to make the difficult decision for a loved one to enter care.

From the moment my Mum arrived at Weller House the Care, support and empathy that my Mum received was and always has been outstanding. This is not a plush Care Home but all rooms are clean & do not smell. My mums clothes are laundered. There is a hairdresser & chiropodist linked to Weller House, as well as a very fun, young and caring activities team, who are totally inclusive, whether the resident is in their room or in a communal area. Weller House staff are consistent, keep routines and are friendly but professional and totally approachable. They care about my mum and our family too. They are an exceptional group of staff and I cannot Thank them enough.....
