High View Care Centre

from L L (Mother of Resident) published on 9 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

High View Care Centre has changed my son's life, they have really helped put some structure and routine around him. He has quite a complex presentation. He is having fun, being well cared for and all the staff do an amazing job with supporting him and all the others in the home.
All the activities
provided are of such good quality and he recently had a party for his birthday and it was lovely, he and I really enjoyed it, to see everyone dancing and singing was truly beautiful. He gets out and about to different places of interest and does lots of different things including cycling, tennis etc. His health needs are well attended to too; just to see his clothes properly laundered and cared for feels so reassuring. (He has had clothing shrunk, stolen and lost at other places).
The manager and her team are responsive to conversations, dedicated to their work and provide such a high level of care. I really appreciate that as previously my experience of his care had been very upsetting.

High View Care Centre

Just wanted to leave a review for the care and support for my sister in law, who is currently residing at the home. Since she joined the home the level of care she's received is outstanding, we have seen a dramatic change in her due to the support she gets on a daily basis. Seeing her being included
in activities, outings and experiencing new things is amazing and we can see how happy and well cared for she is.
The staff have and are still doing an incredible job I can't thank them enough. Not only has her quality of life improved but it gives up a peace of mind knowing she is in good care.
Thank you again. Continue with the great work.

High View Care Centre has been amazing! My daughter's life has changed so much, many positive changes and great outcome achieved since she moved to High View.
I really can't thank the team enough for all the fantastic work and care given to my daughter. I'm extremely happy with the care my daughter
is receiving. The staff team have made a massive impact on my daughter's life. Their consistent approach and the wide range of activities they offer has made a huge impact reducing her challenging behaviours.
High View staff team are caring, understanding, patient and resilient. I admire the high level of dedication and care devoted to my daughter. High View provide the highest standard of care she has ever experienced. My daughter is extremely well cared for and I would not want her to live anywhere else.

To me, my daughter and family High View is an Outstanding Service!

Keep up your wonderful work.

High View Care Centre

All the staff are very well trained and follow a person centred approach. My sister in law is autistic and has behavioural issues, she has been there for a few months and as a family we have seen a big change in her behaviour which has developed through all the hard work the staff put in to make it
happen. They have managed to control her weight and reduce her screen time which has resulted in better behaviour. Just last week they went above and beyond to throw her a birthday party and got all the staff, residents and family involved and it was really nice to see. Even staff members who were not rostered to work on that day chose to come in and spend the day organising and making it a special day. My family could not be more grateful to all the staff for all their hard work and everything they do for my sister in law. Thank you.

Swallowfields Care Centre

from Russell D (Brother of Resident) published on 13 November 2024

My brother was a resident at Swallowfields Care Centre for 14 years. They treated him with the utmost respect, dignity and care. All the staff were amazing especially when my brother went to palliative care. They accepted that as a family his final months were spent as happy as they could have been.
Please
do not hesitate to trust Swallowfields Care Centre for your loved one!

As I have moved out of Surrey since my husband passed away. I haven't been to Swallowfields for 4 years. The staff at the home very kindly act on my behalf in all aspects.
When my Husband was alive we came to all the meetings and social events. Now I find the journey very difficult.

Swallowfields Care Centre

from Mary S (Sister of Resident) published on 24 March 2017
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Our sister resides at Swallowfields Care Home and last year saw her health deteriorate considerably, with long spells in hospital.
However, the staff, since she returned back into their care has shown great improvement in getting her out of nappies to normal underwear again, getting her semi-mobile
and disposing of the hoist and getting her back into a normal bed.
All of this while my sister was depressed and completely immobile.
All the staff show great compassion, resilience, patience and tolerance.
They were always happy to update us as a family whenever we dropped in, which was many times.
