The hot summer provided many challenges for the staff and my mother who has only been a resident of the home since April. All the staff and managers first concern is the residents and their welfare and it shows every time I visit, which is always unscheduled/not predictable. The garden has been a godsend for my mum, its been amazing to sit out in the shade, under either the erected gazebos or the many trees, have a cup of tea and biscuits or icepops brought to us or enjoy the occasional organised family BBQs. The staff balance the different needs of the residents in a very dignified way and ensure everyone's needs are met whatever level. The disruption of moving for my mum was managed as best as it could be for someone with dementia and helping me manage the transition as well. The home allowed us to move in as many personal possessions and furniture of mum's as we could fit. The whole team is amazing supporting residents families too and I can't recommend the home highly enough

She has very swollen legs. and needed to wear 2 support stocking on each leg this was never done - but on her first day at Beacon they have arranged for her to be seen by a specialist nurse as legs are now too big for the stockings she has!

This was my first visit to Windward House. My mother-in-law has been settled there for several months but I live in Spain so it was my first chance to visit her. I was very impressed with the home. The decor and cleanliness were first class and the communal areas were bright and inviting. I particularly liked the courtyard garden which was immaculately maintained. The most inspiring aspect of the visit, however, was to observe the interactions of the staff with the residents of the home. The friendliness, affection and easy manner of all the interactions I observed was striking and comforting. I think they have a great team. My mother-in-laws room was perfectly functional but she had enough of her personal items around her to make it her own. I had not really known what to expect before my visit but I left Windward House feeling reassured that mum is in good hands.

My father is a resident at Croft Lodge where the staff are kind, friendly and professional. I'm beyond grateful for everything that they do and knowing that my father is happy, safe and cared for is immeasurable.

M has been resident at Beacon House now for over 2 years and during that time the level of caring and attention to individuals has been consistently excellent throughout. I enjoy visiting as everyone is so welcoming and friendly making for a very happy atmosphere. No problem seems too much for them, considering the diversity of each resident. I can't thank everyone enough.

Generally every visit is a positive experience. Friendly, helpful staff who are always there to give confidence and comfort about the care for our mother. The home appears clean and tidy with no bad odours and there is always a cup of tea and a smile!

My mother continues to live at Estuary View and we are very happy her care.

My family are extremely happy with the quality and quantity of care given to our loved one . In comparison with the previous home that our family member lived in for 14 months , Beacon House offers an entirely different experience . There is a genuine sense of care followed up with action . Our loved one is more relaxed and enjoying her life significantly more so than previously .

I am so thrilled with the professionalism, care, understanding and compassion every single member of staff have shown towards my mother. Within days my mother has improved and this has had a knock on effect for my life aswell as hers thank-you so much. I would recommend windward to anyone needing a care home that truely cares.

We have spent a lovely afternoon in the garden with the sister in law , the staff and managers are so careing, beautifully clean , superb garden , we were made so welcome, and everyone is well looked after with plenty of staff.

After the takeover of the care home and renaming Estuary view there has been a marked improvement of the facilities and care within the home. I would like to single out Josna and Matthew for the care and attention they give my father. He has been in here just over a year now and seems to be very happy and content, which makes me feel like I've made the right decision to put him in a home

My Mother has been at Estuary View for 4 Years. And is very happy and content. She has excellent care shown towards her. They have a dedicated team of Carers and all Staff, who always go above and beyond their duties. Nothing is too much trouble. And for me that gives me great Comfort that knowing my Mother is well looked after at all times. There is always a warm welcome from Staff and Carers. Thank you for all your hard work every day.

The home is well staffed with a stable team. The care is consistently good as is the cleanliness and food. Staff are extremely kind, caring, patient and respectful to residents. They adapt well to the changing needs of my Mum and reliably escalate concerns to us and other professional staff/disciplines. The home is well led with a very experienced manager and deputy who will always make time to speak to me, discuss and make plans for Mum's changing needs which are fluidly cascaded throughout the team. There has been much investment in the property but the only concern is the temperature in some areas during this very hot weather. I wouldn't want my Mum to be cared for anywhere else in her current situation.

My mother in law Mary is extremely well cared for with loving and attentive support from all staff ( especially her favoured friend James) with her daily care. Willow house is always exceptionally clean and without fail a happy environment to walk into on each visit.

We are extremely grateful for the dedication shown by everyone at Willow and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

I come in 2x a week to visit a resident and observe the care and get looked after while giving some care to my friend.

Estuary View is a lovely, warm and friendly home with excellent care and amazing staff. Our friend Linda has been there for over 15 months and is very happy. The manager makes sure that the residents have all they need and occasionally takes them out. One of the care team members, Josna, has made a real impact on Linda and has such a lovely, warm connection with her. We highly recommend this home without any hesitation.

This is a first-class home. The manager and staff are very customer-focused and caring. Mother is very happy with her. The garden is very pretty and a big feature in her life. The management are receptive to feedback and ideas. Warmly recommended.
