From the outset, I knew my father was going to be happy in Protheroe House. The flats are modern, spacious and clean. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful! The food is yummy and more importantly the staff, especially in the office are always polite, professional and extremely helpful! I have no hesitation in recommending this residential care home. Since my brother moved in he has totally come out of his shell and is happier now than I can remember for a long time, this is down to the excellent management and staff, it is a great weight off my mind knowing he is being very well looked after and would strongly recommend to anyone.

The roster of activities is varied and engaging and the facilities are in excellent condition. Mum feels safe, happy and cared for, which is a huge weight off my mind. I cannot recommend Lorenco House highly enough.

We loved Lorenco House from our first visit, it is beautifully decorated and furnished. It has a 5-star hotel feel with clusters of seating, sofas/armchairs, tables, lamps, and lovely modern pictures, dotted along the corridors. The atrium gives it a feeling of space and light in the communal areas. The flat is also fresh and new with a modern fully-fitted kitchen, wet-room, underfloor heating and large window/balcony doors in the lounge and bedroom. The office staff have been super friendly, and very supportive during this difficult time with the pandemic, and my parents are slowly getting to know and understand the many carers that work so hard there. It gives us as family members peace of mind that our parents are safe and being well looked after. Thank you Lorenco House staff!
