The deputy manager and his team of senior carers have just been the most wonderful, supportive and kind people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It saddens me that our time with Hollybank is now coming to an end. Thank you so much for everything you do every day.

My aunt went to Hollybank for respite for a month in January 2022. The room occupied was absolutely lovely, with an ensuite facility. The home has been fully renovated over the last few years, and it's very very nice and also exceptionally clean. My aunt really enjoyed being there for the month and is already asking to go back and seeing if she can go there permanently. The staff were very friendly, and under very difficult circumstances with the Covid restrictions, they managed the situation very well. The communication was excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend Hollybank to anyone else thinking of going into residential care for respite or permanently.

The carers are always engaging with the residents as they pass through the home in their daily routine.

My mother has been in Oak Lodge for a month now and has improved in all aspects of her condition of dementia. She seems to be much more relaxed and comfortable. The staff are all very nice and supportive towards my mum, seeing to her needs with dignity and care.

My sister was resident at Oak Lodge from 20th Dec 2018. She was terminally ill with cancer and needed nursing. The staff assessed my sister and quickly arranged for her transfer to their care. On arrival, she was made very comfortable in a lovely room with a large window and view outside. My sister particularly enjoyed this. On Christmas morning a member of staff took the time to sit with her chatting and getting to know her background and likes and dislikes.

I am satisfied with the care and treatment of my wife (a resident).

The quality of care he has received has been excellent. The home is extremely clean and has just been refurbished and looks amazing.

My Grandma has been in the care home for over a year now and I visit her regularly. I can say that every time I have been in I have found the home clean and the staff extremely professional. It has recently been refurbished so it looks even better. The gardens are nice so I usually sit outside with a cup of tea and watch the birds which my grandma loves.

An excellent residential/nursing home. Recently refurbished throughout to a high standard. The staff are committed and do a wonderful job. The quality and standard of meals is first class. It is kept spotlessly clean. The residents enjoy games and music to stimulate them, highly recommended.

A beautiful building with luxurious gardens. The staff are friendly. Food is good. Always activities on offer. GP is excellent. Place is clean and bright and smells fresh. Plenty of room. They never leave call bells ringing, you actually get some rest. Thank you all.

My Grandma is a resident here and I have to say that I am impressed with the care and the facilities. I find the home extremely clean and luxurious, I visit my Grandma every week and found the staff extremely helpful.

My Dad's in Hollybank care home, the place is lovely and food looks really nice. It gives peace of mind that he is getting high quality of care. I am really pleased with my choice of home.

We are now looking to put my mum in Hollybank and I would recommend the home to anyone.

My Mum has been in Hollybank for a couple of months now. She was transferred from another home. Once I visited Hollybank, I knew that my mum would be far happier than she was in the previous home. Not only is the quality of care far higher, but the rooms and living room are luxuries.

The main feature that I knew my mum would like was the massive garden which is beautiful. Every time I visit my mum she has already done something that day, from yoga to bingo. The staff are always smiling when I go in which shows that it's a loving home. This definitely didn't happen with the previous home.

My mum has been in Hollybank for over a year now and I have to say the care provided has been excellent. Each time I have visited the staff have been helpful, the bedroom is large with an en-suite bathroom. I am extremely happy with service my mum and I have received from Hollybank. They always have different activities on to keep her entertained and the garden is beautiful, it's like a 5-star hotel.
