I can't thank the team at Langtree enough for the individual care and attention that they have shown Mum since she moved in at Christmas. Dad lives at a neighbouring care home and the staff at Langtree have helped to facilitate visits to Mum. A beautiful example was Valentine's Day when unfortunately
family couldn't be there and Langtree ensured that Dad came over to see Mum and they had a wonderful time together. The entertainment and activities on offer are wonderful. Thank you to everyone who works in any capacity at Langtree.
Reply from Stacey Astin, Regional Manager at Langtree Care HomeThank you for you review. It is a pleasure to care for your mum and it is lovely to see Dad when he comes over to visit.

I have found the care and facilities offered by the Lavender Hill Care home to be excellent in every way.
The staff are consistantly kind, helpful
conscientious, positive and well informed about the best way to treat the residents in their care and nothing appears to be too much trouble to ensure
the residents are happy and healthy.

We could not thank this care home, and staff enough for the care, understanding of mums needs and the gentleness of their care staff. The attention to detail with each individual resident is definitely 2nd to none. The resident rooms was beautiful well presented and very private if required it was like
visiting a 5 Star hotel.

Care is very good. Always friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend the nursing home to anyone.

Financially expensive. But then all nursing homes are. Think this is more a government problem than millennium care. Those who obtain financial support get the most minimum of space, and the government

should pay more

My aunty had a life changing accident at home resulting in her needing 24 hour care. From day one she has been treated with the utmost respect and dignity by all the staff at Langtree. She enjoys the friendliness and comfort of the place, and the smiling faces of the carers. They include her in the
day to day activities and socializing always asking first her wishes before assuming she would want to participate. I am sure her beloved husband would have been extremely pleased with the standard of care she is receiving. Many thanks to you all.

Lakeside Nursing & Residential Home

Gail and the Lakeside staff were all fabulous in the care of my sister. My sister was in her early fifties so not typical for a care home setting I don't think, but she was embraced in to the Lakeside family.
My sister was always well taken care of at Lakeside, however prior to moving to Lakeside,
she had not been out of bed for around 16 months. When she arrived, she was encouraged to be out of bed, washed, changed and join the other residents for meals and activities. She even went on a couple of trips outside of the home, given she had previously not been out of bed for such a long time, this was fantastic progress and a great experience for her.
My sister unfortunately passed away, but we know she was so well cared for and this made her last five months the best they could have been and that brings us a lot of comfort.
Nothing but good things to say about the Lakeside staff, other than we are grateful for the genuine love, care and support they provided..

It has been my experience that all the staff are exceptionally caring and helpful on all aspects of my friends care. In particular during October 2025, the manager was very helpful in dealing with a team from social housing which concluded in my friend being able to stay in the loving care of Norley
Care Home. I am pleased to offer this feed back for the care provided for my friend.
Reply from Kathryn Rimmer, Registered Manager at Norley Hall Care HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share such kind and thoughtful feedback.

We are truly grateful for your recognition of the care, compassion, and dedication shown by our staff. It is always our priority to ensure residents feel safe, supported, and valued, and we are pleased to hear that this was your experience.

Your comments regarding the support provided during October 2025 are especially appreciated. We are glad that the discussions with the social housing team resulted in your friend being able to remain at Norley Care Home, where their wellbeing and continuity of care are so important to us.

Thank you again for your trust and for your generous words. They mean a great deal to the whole team and encourage us to continue providing the highest standard of care.

Really caring staff who genuinely are trying to make a difference for the residents. The efforts around the Christmas decorations are amazing. Staff are happy to help take residents out for a walk to the local paper shop and there is a changing weekly timetables of activities. External trips with family
and friends are actively encouraged. Food is cooked to order. The team also support relatives and friends

My dad had broken his hip and following a hospital admission he returned to Worthington Lake. The staff gave him reassurance, care and support to settle him back home and to regain his confidence. The professionalism of the carers, the occupational therapist and all staff have enabled Dad to feel happy
back at Worthington Lake and to walk safely again. Thank you for the extra TLC provided to Dad and the family, particularly at this time, it is much appreciated.

Making the decision to place my mum into residential care has been the toughest decision of my life. Despite our best efforts as a family with the support of home carers, being in her own home was not an option for my Mum.
After previous bad experiences with respite and rehabilitation care, I was heartbroken
when my Mum moved into Lakeside in June 2024.
Gail, Lisa and their amazing team were fantastic at helping my Mum settle and treated my endless questions, phone calls and enquiries as never too much trouble as I struggled with my Mum's illness and her decline.
What Lakeside gave to my Mum was dignity, love and first-class round the clock care. Everyone of the staff treated my Mum like one of their own family members.
But what they also did was treat me like one of their own too. Helping me, supporting me through making decisions to ensure my Mum got the care she rightly deserved.
I will be eternally grateful for the time we had with Mum at Lakeside.
Reply from Gail Howard, Manager at Lakeside Nursing & Residential HomeThank you for your heart felt review. We loved caring for your mum, you and your brother. Your mum was an inspiration to us all and a fashion icon, which we loved. Hope to see you soon for a catch up.

I recently attended my elderly Aunt's special birthday. She had a wonderful day and I asked the Manager if the members of staff could help me organise a small party for her as I live a long distance away from her and I'm in my seventies . The Manager and staff Co-ordinated and organised everything
food ( buffet) provided was wonderful and the cake was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. On a daily basis my Aunt is well cared for and is kept busy with a variety of age appropriate activities which she thoroughly enjoys and keeps her occupied. She even has occasional visits to outside venues . I think the Manager and her team are very caring, and make all their residents feel welcome and well looked after. My Aunt seems very happy there and I would recommend the Care Home to anyone.

Care was needed for my sister-in-law after hospitalisation, and we sat in on some interviews she had with prospective establishments. Lavender Hills stood out for us, They were very professional in explaining everything to us,very relaxed and friendly in approach.Having no previous experience of Care
Homes thiis was reassuring.
We live outside the area, and Kala and her staff are excellent in keeping us up to date with everything .Our biggest relief is my sister-in-law's attitude to this necessary change to her life.
Lavender Hills has reinvigorated her view on life, providing a reason to plough on despite her difficulties.Everyone is cheerful, so pleasant and interesting, it raises the spirits.
She is escorted to medical appointments, in -house visits by optitians, chiropodist, hairdresser, G.P. the list is impressive. There is a good choice of entertainment possibilities, don't feel like it today, no problem! The daily ritual of menu choice is a favourite she loves . A winner!
